This gym has an interesting concept. The idea is that you can join every 10 mins so even if you sign up for a specific time and you happen to be late you can still join to start 10 mins later. They have specific stations with screens where they show all the moves so you can just follow along. They will have your initials so you don't get lost. The gym is located on the second floor so just follow the signs to get there. They have lockers and restrooms on the back of the room next to the restrooms. When I was there the first time I left my things on a corner but the instructor showed me where the lockers where so I didn't need to worry about my things being on the way. When you first get there, make sure to connect with the coach to ensure you understand where you should start. This workout can be intimidating if you don't work out regularly since it involves a lot of different moves but the screens help a lot and you can always follow the people on your group or reach out to the coach if you have any questions. The work out goes fast and you have to make sure you are following along to ensure you move to the next station when needed. My only concern is the fact that there is not much time to clean in between stations. They use different props including heavy bags, matts, dumbbells, kettlebells, ropes, bikes, among others so it would be nice to be able to clean them after the previous group was sweating all over them. They do have disinfectant wipes all around but I noticed not everyone was using them, so just make sure you have them close in between workouts and you should be OK. I was also a little confused about stretching at the end, it looked like there was an additional station to stretch but I noticed my group just left right away so I just end up stretching on my own. After going a couple times you get the hang of it and get used to the speed!

Great Workout, Great Concept, Great Facility... Would be greater if they had showers and a quick 5 minutes stretch station or routine..

This was a great workout! Super efficient and the space is amazing! The prices are very reasonable and the convenience is like nothing I have ever seen before!

Barry's Miami Beach is an excellent training facility that teaches running and weight lifting. I…read morelearned how to run faster, pace myself and blend running into my overall workout regiment. Also Barry's taught me about strength at an achievable level for an amateur. Historically I lifted 2 to 3 pound weights in ballet barre classes. Barry's has helped me develop to 10-15 pound weights for better muscle strength. The only "cons" of Barry's are the price and the singular focus on run/lift. My greatest weight loss and muscle tone has been at full service gyms like equinox. I work out longer at equinox and ultimately burn more calories blending running, rowing and elliptical with barre and yoga. Equinox as a full service gym is half the price for a monthly membership. Moreover, Equinox runs promotions such as free membership through the end of 2023 for a 12 month membership in 2024, and the monthly membership is $210 corporate. Notably Barry's corporate locations offer discounted membership and class packs for my employer but Barry's Miami Beach doesn't accept them. I ended up with Barry's corporate and Barry's Miami class packs. Barry's serves an important purpose. When I want to push my running legs and lift heavy, Barry's Miami Beach is the place. Barry's has good treadmills with thicker cushion that is worth the extra money. My Miami Beach condo has treadmills included but zero cushion. Candidly I know more injured runners than active runners. The cushiony treadmill and higher end running shoes like Hoka are valuable investments for a runner. (I have never been injured running but pay for quality equipment, coaches and shoes.) i love the enthusiasm and encouragement of Sammi, Michael, Derek and Rachel especially. The balance of the challenging Barry's workouts is worth it.

A friend of mine and I were on vacation in Miami Beach and took a Lagree class at Level One. I…read morealready did Lagree a lot of times, but the megaformer was a little different from the one I know back in California, so the instructor gave us a quick introduction. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly from the beginning and the workout was definitely a good and hard one! To quote my friend:"it was one of the best Lagree classes I've ever had"! If we would live here, we would definitely show up regularly! To all those negative comments about closed doors when they showed up late: you get more than one email where you can clearly read that you have to be there 10 minutes before the class starts and you cannot participate if you are late! And I personally love that! It's highly disrespectful to show up late and interrupt the others attendees. Plan your time better and just show up on time. It's easy as that! Thanks for the good workout and hopefully see you soon!

I had rated this spot without writing a review but then got an email from the owners…read more I went here once when I first moved here. The space is very clean and it's a small class which seemed like a plus. I had a lot of trouble with the workout and the positions. I had never used a machine like this before and was really struggling. Hans, the instructor, kept getting frustrated and angry with me for not understanding what to do and made me feel so stupid for physically not being able to do some of the movements due to previous injury. I left feeling very bad about myself and very upset with the treatment I faced. I'm used to more welcoming and helpful coaching so maybe I'm just not used to rudeness and aggressiveness. I have since found other spots that I feel leaving great with very helpful coaches and a happier environment. Also don't seem to take constructive criticism well since they get defensive of any bad reviews and aggressively reach out to you. Super weird. My friend goes to this place and likes it so I guess it depends on who you are and what kind of environment you like. I will say it is a good and intense workout. Probably will get a mean response to this rather than any sort of accountability or apology but let's see I guess. Also re: the email I attached. I reviewed a little later because it popped up on my yelp. How people make you feel will stick with you so I felt the need to share my experience which is what yelp is for.

The workout itself was great, but the experience was disappointing. The instructor gave no welcome or guidance--just told us to get on the machines. Directions were often based on local references (e.g., "face Brickell"), and when we weren't facing the right way, they repeated, "Again, you're facing Brickell." Obviously, as visitors, we had no idea where that was. Despite this, we gave it another shot the next day with our full group ( as we booked it weeks before ). We left early but got stuck in Miami traffic due to a bridge delay, arriving three minutes before class. Even after calling ahead, we were turned away because new students must arrive five minutes early--no offer to reschedule, just a blunt refusal. If this is their protocol, then they probably should have enforced it the day before when we also arrived late. I'm grateful they didn't, but the inconsistency is frustrating when you expect one thing and are then told there are strict rules. While we did get a refund, the lack of hospitality stood out compared to everywhere else we visited in Miami. If they improved customer service and gave better guidance for beginners, I'd gladly return--the workout itself was solid, and the studio has a cute vibe. P.S. For newcomers and even locals, you'll need to enter the building, show your ID to the lovely lobby attendant downstairs, and he'll guide you to Tremble, which is on the fourth floor.

Such a good workout! I loved this studio and the instructor was awesome…read more Tremble's Brickell location is in the mezzanine level of 1060 building. It has a cozy feel to it but the floor to ceiling windows give it city like vibe. The class was no joke -- good upbeat music, full body movements that focus on core strength and of course an empowering instructor to get you through the workout. Can't wait to go back!

I live in Miami and was staying in Miami Beach for a trade show at the Convention Center recently…read more I am an existing Orange Theory member at another Miami studio and wanted to go to a studio while staying in Miami Beach. I was having trouble signing up for classes in the OTF app so I called the studio and they were very nice and helped me sign up for classes on their end. The studio is in the Best Buy and Target shopping center, so you can park in the parking deck and the studio will validate your parking. I took an Uber and it dropped me right off at the studio's front door (they're on the ground floor of the shopping center). On the day of your class I recommend showing up 20 minutes before your class starts so you can find your way to the studio, sign in and sign your disclosures/waivers and provide a credit card. Depending on the tier of studio you are a member of, the South Beach studio may charge you a class surcharge (for me it was $10 per class), so please ask before booking. The check in process was great, very friendly front desk staff. The studio has towels, plenty of lockers, and water for purchase if needed. I went to the 7:15 am class both times and there were fewer than 5 people in each class. So it was run as a 1G with everyone starting on the treads. The coaches both days were amazing, very encouraging and kept checking on everyone on their workout forms. The studio was everything I love about being an OTF member! I highly recommend trying this OTF studio if you're in their area!
