Everyone there was sort of nice I couldn't really tell their vibe because the second I walked in I could tell they were all talking about me mainly because they kept staring and talking towards each other... whatever but she started to do my nails I told her I have UV nails and I was missing a nails on my thumb. They told me no problem we can fix it as she starts I noticed she only put a gel on top of my fake nails which is what you're supposed to do but when she gets to my thumb she does not put a fake nail she only puts the gel thing on top of my real nail. I asked her are you sure you know how to do UV nails light where is the fake nail she said that she already put the nail I didn't say anything in that moment because I'm not going to argue with someone who thinks they know what they're doing. The nails ended up looking horrible they're not even and they're too round mind you I got gel on my hands and feet a basic white set for 120$ which is totally insane for her to half ass my nails. I only came in here because I needed my nails done as an emergency and it was the closest one by, I don't mind paying 120$ but it was a horrible job and I pay 110$ at my original nail salon and they do more designs and a much better job. read more

I have been going to Sway nails for decades. Kim the owner is one of the kindest people I know. Each of the nail technicians is highly skilled and attentive to my needs. Gel manicures are wonderfully curated - I use the sparingly as my nails don't always do well with them. I prefer to use SWAY's natural regular manicuring products which are long lasting and beautiful. The Gold pedicure is pure bliss - the products are wonderful and the foot and leg massage is so soothing. Chair massages are also wonderful to end the service and let my nails dry! Finally the spa is so welcoming with beautiful music playing; it's clean and smells fresh - - many a time I have witnessed the team giving the entire spa a good clean. I highly recommend Sway to women who seek good service with attention to detail and respect the time it takes to do the job well. read more

So I use to go to this place all the the time growing up. I went recently because I've been staying at my parents house to get the powder gel. I have been coming here since I was little and I really enjoy their manicure and pedicure. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and all the ladies that work there are very sweet and accommodating. They are also very clean which is one of the most important things when looking for a good nail salon. They also have a large assortment of colors and even vegan nail polish! I love this salon because it's close and convenient. Their prices aren't bad either. It's always pretty quiet in here compared to most other salons. I come here once in a while, since I don't get my nails done too often. I like that they have Zoya nail polish. I personally prefer that brand over Essie & OPI. The nail technicians are nice and professional in here. However I'm not totally convinced their nail tools are 100% sanitary and clean. Maybe they do clean them but they don't come sealed as most salons usually have. I think in the future I will bring my own tools. But it's good to go here if you're in the area. read more

Sway, I never really appreciated you when we were neighbors. I just stupidly assumed that all cities would have a salon where mani/pedis were reasonably priced, thorough, and long-lasting. I figured most decent nail spas would be relaxing and beautiful like you. I gathered that all manicures came with a soothing neck massage for free. I was such a FOOL! I moved away, and I realized that I really lost something special when I let you go. I'm swayed -- after living here five years and trying almost every nail salon in Manhasset, I have to say that Sway is the best. They line their foot tubs for each pedicure, and they provide a disposable nail file for every manicure, which is nice. (Other neighborhood salons will sterilize their tools like Sway, but then the manicurist will use the same nail file for each patron.) One of the reasons I love Sway is that it's like a spa without the high prices... ($12 manicure, $23 pedicure) Relaxing classical music plays in the background and there are 'quiet' emoji signs. Today it wasn't too busy and my manicurist gave me a complimentary 5-minute back massage while I was waiting for my nails to dry. And the hand dryers have a heat option, which is especially nice in the winter. My only issue with Sway is the fact they're not open on Sundays, which often is the only time I find to get a manicure since I work full-time. I'm going to have to make time on Saturdays since Sway has me convinced my B-list salons aren't cutting it! Thank you, Sway. read more

I have been to many nail salons in Manhasset, but Sway is the place I return to again and again. Kim, the owner, is very professional and runs a very efficient operation. The salon is very clean and I especially appreciate that they provide a new liner for each pedicure. It is a relaxed atmosphere, unlike some other salons in Manhasset. Andrea Bocelli or other similar music provides the background for a nice experience. I have only had nails done, so I can not comment on massages, etc. read more

I would give it 0 stars if I could! I got a nail fungus from this place and I stopped going. Not hygienic at all! Their instruments don't come sealed in a bag like other salons and they don't clean out their foot tubs very well !! To top it all off.....they ripped off my middle Schooler & her friends today by overcharging them. When I went to complain they could care less!! Shameful & disgusting.....and dirty!
