I did go . I believe the person they gave me was a novice. She was very slow. I have a powdered gel manicure . It shouldn't take more than 45 minutes to an hour . I didn't have a pedicure there. If I go back I'll ask for a more experienced manicurist. read more

Got my nails done here for the first time .... Place is very clean and workers were friendly. Only issue is my nails cost more than $170!!!! Took 3.5hrs & lasted less than 1 week. I normally go to DBB NAIL across the street, but nowadays they're always busy so I decided to check this new place out. The interior is super cute, there's tea or coffee, and so many colors. Update: my nails were already cracking not even 2 weeks. That never happens with powder for me. It was snowing and I decided to go somewhere close so I gave this place a 2nd shot. They wanted $20 more than other places nearby for gelx. That's ridiculous pricing. So I got powder again. I got a better nail tech this time. They took me quick and had me in the system so the lady in the front knew my name which is nice. I can't give them a great review because they are just soooo overpriced. I never found anywhere I was satisfied with, so I ended up not having my nails done for years. My cuticles became so gnarly that I finally decided to get my nails done and walked into QQ Nails. I decided to get the Japanese gel, and had no idea it had so many steps. But Jerry was SO detailed, and kept checking that my nails looked good from various angles every step of the way. I came in at 9:30 as a walk in for a gel mani lady started drilling my pinky then another customer came in saying she called a few minutes ago but there was only one nail tech. She was asked to come back at 10 and she could not. The tech said she didn't receive a call and said it might be a wrong QQ nail. Then she checked her phone and said oh I did receive a call. She asked me if I had an appointment which I did not and so she asked me to come back at 10 because I'm the one without the appointment. I was shocked but I left because I didn't want to argue then came back at 10 expecting them to be apologetic. I got my nails done and asked for a discount for kicking me out mid service. I was given a $10 coupon for next time and told to make an appointment. EXCUSE ME. How am I suddenly in the wrong and the manager telling me the first time I was there I also didn't have an appointment? Which I did and showed her my email that I did! My appt the first time was 9:30 and wasn't seen until 10am! And I didn't make a big deal. This time I was already drilled and the audacity to ask me to come back. She doubled down that I was wrong. And she remember me from last time. I told her I had to cancel my spa pedicure the first time because they came in so late. I ended up making a scene to get my point across. My mistake for even coming back and thinking they would rectify the situation! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. No apologies, they looked at me like I was wrong the whole time. I am so disappointed with this place. I have been here several times and all wonderful experiences except today. The girl I usually do my nails with wasn't available so they had Jerry do my nails. He was extremely rude!!! The whole time as he was doing my nails he would stop and text and kept checking his phone. Then when it was time to add the color to my nails, he gave me such a disgusting attitude. I asked for a specific color that they didn't have (which is fine) but I was trying to get something similar. He was so impatient and just wanted to finish. I asked if I can compare a few shades he got upset. Then the color i picked was nothing like the sample and I didn't like it but I stayed quiet. He had already put one coat. I asked him politely if I can please add the second coat as a darker shade. He immediately got pissed, shrugged his shoulders and got annoyed at me. I said it's just a question, why the attitude? I have never experienced such terrible customer service like this before. People like that should not be working in that kind of environment. You must have extreme patience with your customer. Also, the services that we are getting are not cheap, so at the end of the day the customer should be happy with the product as this will last a few weeks. I will never let Jerry touch my nails again. So disappointing because I really do love this place. Also, in response to the below, my review is extremely accurate. The service was terrible. The nail technician was rough and appeared annoyed the entire time, as if she didn't want to be there. She kept pausing to check her phone while doing my nails. I paid extra for a 10-minute back massage, but she performed it on a regular chair instead of a massage chair and didn't even ask if I wanted to remove my sweater, making it difficult for her to do it properly. Not to mention I felt nothing. She also kept interrupting the massage to do other things, wasting time from the timer and making it more of a neck rub. A complete waste of money. The place is extremely money-hungry. The nail technician even hovered over me to see how much I would tip, despite the poor service. She's lucky I'm considerate enough to still leave a tip, but honestly, it wasn't deserved. read more

In my entire life, I've never seen an extremely rude and hostile salon worker! I rarely give places 1 star and this place deserves 0. I came in to get my nails done and the worker Jerry did my nails. At first it seemed okay, he didn't really talk although he was clumsy he kept getting the nail drill all over my hands. I have a high pain tolerance and he kept scraping my fingers to the point I had to move my hand in pain and he was getting irritated and did not even say sorry or anything. Weird and rude. Since I was getting a pedicure also, he moved me to the spa chairs so I can get my feet done at the same time he can put the color in my nails. So he was putting the second coat in my nails until he started yelling at me, he literally was yelling at me about how I smudged my nails since I was adjusting myself due to a very uncomfortable position, my body twisted to the side so he can do my manicure on the spa chair instead the nail chair since they were rushing me. And I said "sorry" to him that I smudged it. Yep I'm actually apologizing to someone that yelled at me that I'm paying for just to be polite. Then he shook his head and made rude remarks and still kept yelling at me. I've never seen any hostile behavior before in a salon. THEN It was another worker doing my pedicure, I nicely asked her if it's okay to still have spa if we had time since they'll be closing in an hour, she said yes. Then this guy Jerry, shook his head and made that disbelief facial gesture alongside with him clicking his tongue as if something was wrong! He probably wanted to close earlier and not want them to stay longer at the salon. Honestly, that is unbelievably rude and petty. I literally asked her if there was time and she said yes! Now he's making rude faces? Come on. I shouldn't have tipped him, because he's blatantly rude and unprofessional. Jerry had an attitude problem because no way a normal person who works in the service industry would've behaved like that. Yelling at customer over one smudged nail is crazy!!! This salon has so much potential, great location and place is clean, but that behavior? Unbelievable. Extremely HOSTILE AND RUDE.
