If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Very lazy staff who don't do what you ask and get mad when you don't like what you didn't ask for. Was basically told if I don't like it I can leave and do it myself. Never had such a horrible experience in a nail salon. I had to fix my own nail with the brush because they refused to fix it how I wanted. Asked for a very simple flower design and the untalented rude girl couldn't even do that. Never come here read more

Let's be real there are A LOT of nail salons in Great Neck and I have tried several w different results... the ONLY one I love is Brilliant Nails on Great Neck Road. Anna is my favorite nail tech who I see regularly but Summer and many others there are all excellent! I go regularly for powder gel manicures and regular pedicures and their pricing is good. In the past I used to have a lot of issues with gel and powder gel not lasting the 2 weeks and with Brilliant this has never happened. Andy the owner and his wife are always super friendly and inviting and it's my one chance to relax in an otherwise hectic week. I am super happy to finally find my "nail place" and wanted to give them a shout out since they so deserve it! read more

Best nail salon! Linda and Rita are amazing. Very clean and professional. Would 100% recommend

Linda is the best!! She always does my powder manicure exceptionally well! The salon is very clean and everyone is very professional.

Clean, well-run salon with a nice, relaxing vibe. I get mani and pedi with many choices of products and services. Recommend treating yourself to a spa pedicure! read more

Consistently great service. All the nail Techs are great, they offer plenty of options. Highly recommended!

I always have a great experience here! No matter who's doing your nails, you'll always end up with a great set, highly recommend!!

Came here again and the woman at the front knew my name when I walked in. Must've assumed since my appointment was at 11 when I walked in. I got powder nails again and $43 with cash only which isn't bad. The lady doing my nails this time wasn't as gentle and cut my cuticle and it started bleeding. She said sorry. Her back massage was really rough. I did see clipped nails on the mat my towel was on which is gross. The tools used were out of a clean package. This is still a cleaner nail salon in the area. 3 stars this time because the lack of cleanliness on the desk and bleeding. I might come back again. read more

Also the price was not discussed prior to the service. I was charged 85 dollars for a gel manicure with a special color and then stickers were added. Ive had better gel manicures with designs in which i was charged 50. The added on prices were too much for the work done and it shouldve been previously discussed. read more

I've been to so many nail salons, but very few compare to this one. I typically go for powder dip nails. Linda is an amazing technician who always shapes and colors my nails perfectly. Summer is also fantastic. I often request complicated designs (dreidels, snowflakes, etc.) and I'm always impressed at how skillfully they paint them by hand. And for pedicures, Yoyo gives a fantastic foot massage. Andy at the front desk is also very sweet and accommodating. Posted some of my latest nails! read more

First time here and i am a fan! Linda did my gel powder i choose number 5 similar to essie fij/ the place was clean organized friendly and took their time! a lot of pride went into the care they gave my hands and toes! i usually bring my own nail polish for a pedicure because that is always a regular polish anyway! i dont recall the special pedicure i receive but it had 20 minute massage on legs. i like that they put a plastic liner inside the pedicure tub. i suggest you make an appointment because that way time is reserved for you. i came in on a thursday afternoon found parking on the street and put some coins in the meter it has been a solid 3 weeks since i got my nails done so here is my update... my nails have just grown out hasnt chipped or discolored! i am so happy my friend turned me onto this place!! keep in mind when i do wash dishes i do wear gloves that may affect why my nails have lasted as long as they do but i do constant hand washing and hand sanitizer at work at work so that it is getting exposure there too. i will be returning! read more

So happy with this Fancy French I got for my friend's Black Tie wedding tomorrow. I showed the nail techs a photo of the manicure design and then they offered me some good suggestions of how they would do it a little differently so it would look even better on me - I left it to the experts and I'm so happy I did. It came out so nicely - I am a very satistfied customer. JOY was the nail tech who did this fine artistry! Thank you. I've come to this nail salon a number of times and there is always a problem. The girls are talented and they do excellent work, however the management is awful and the prices are super expensive. They often don't book correctly and you are left waiting a long time. The manager Andy is extremely rude and temperamental. Just today I spent 4 hours waiting for my nail technician because management made a booking error (which they blamed me for) and I wasn't even offered a courtesy discount. Anyways, after the 15th time giving them a chance, I will no longer be coming back here. There are cheaper and better places around the area. read more

It's not easy to find a salon in Long Island that will do extravagant nail designs, but this salon really exceeded my expectations with their customer service and skills. I usually don't give Yelp reviews but this salon really went far and beyond any nail salons I have seen. Not only that, I made a very very very last minute appointment and they were so nice about it and accommodating with me!!! If you need a skilled nail artist, book Summer! She put all her energy and effort and was even working till the last minute of closing hour. She was confident with her work (as she should) and made sure I was satisfied with her skills. The front desk and owner (not sure if it was the owner ) was also very honest and told me if they were able to do the service that I asked for, and if they couldn't, they offered alternatives. Very honest business gets lots of customers! Overall 10/10 experience will come and make appointment once again! read more

My go to nail spot for almost 10 years now. Lovely owners Andy and Helen always accommodate my crazy schedule when I call for an appointment. All of the nail techs, including Summer, Linda, Ruby, Queenie and the rest do meticulous work in a soothing atmosphere. I left my former nail spa because they didn't give their techs off on the holidays, I am happy to report they are closed for the holidays. Andy, Helen and Lee treat their customers and staff well. I highly recommend this spa and all of their services! read more

Terrible job terrible service terrible attitude !! I would give it zero stars if I could. Owner and almost all employees are rude and they scam people by charging service fee for using a credit card. And they constantly talk in their language and very obvious and apparent that they are talking about you. My manicure and gel pedicure were done by YOYO who not only ruined my perfectly straight square nails by filing them at an angle but also cut my cuticles while dry and made me bled. And she did a horrendous job at a gel manicure by getting excess polish on my skin! Will never go to this salon again. read more

I've been coming to the nail salon for almost 10 years and I highly recommend it. The owners Andy and Helen are always so welcoming and make sure the service you receive is top notch. I'm really disappointed at this salon. I only gave them 1 star is because Summer and Ruby are great. I've been a loyal customer for over a year. I always make an appointment and I am always on time. I have never complained even when i was made to wait over an hour. The owner/man at the front is extremely rude. I called on Tuesday and made an appt with Summer for a powder manicure at 12 and a spa pedicure with Ruby at 1. I got there at 11:50. The man promptly told me that i was wrong and my appointment was at 1. He was extremely rude, yelled at me, and ignored me. In front of a salon filled with clients. This was extremely embarrassing. I am NEVER going back there. You have lost a loyal, overtipping customer. You also lost all the clients i have brought to you. My friends and family will not be coming back. read more

This spa is the best! I have been coming here for more than 3-yrs and have always received excellent services! Helen and Andy (owners) are friendly and courteous, always. The ladies are very talented and super nice; they do exceptional service and are eager to please, always making you feel relaxed. I have used Olivia for the time I have been coming here, every two weeks, and have always gotten the perfect mani/pedi and massage! In addition, Summer and Linda have been doing my sister's and friend's services over the 3+ yrs and they too have received stellar services, every single appointment! You want a relaxed and fun atmosphere to unwind and be pampered? Then this spa is the place to be!! Prices are great as well and I would not trade here for anywhere else! ‍ read more

I've been coming here for 2 years. They do a great job and they are very clean. The reason for the 3 stars is that the manager although they accept credit card always makes a huge deal when you try to use your card. I understand the tipping on the card is difficult but come on most of us don't carry around a lot of cash. 2nd is the up-charges aren't made apparent until after the services are rendered. If a specific polish costs more the customer should be aware prior. I went in for a gel pedicure and asked how much and she said not much more. It turns out the use of the gel polish costs an additional $22... that's almost the same price of a full gel manicure (which is $27). If you decide to go get the basics, be clear about the price before hand, and bring cash. read more

I can usually tolerate a 'bad' nail job such as filed crooked, hand and feet color don't match, chipped nails even breaking or 'peeling' off sooner than usual. However I CANNOT tolerate rudeness and inconsiderate people. Whenever I've gone and NOT had an appointment I'm rushed through the process and usually have a cut or 2 on my cuticles since I normally do sns. When I've made an appointment the aura is totally different. Won't be returning here but luckily there's 3 other places in the vicinity for me to try out read more

I frequented this nail salon back in 2012 thru 2016 when it was under the old mgmt of Jason , jenny and christine. But in 2016 new mgmt took over... a woman name Helen and I think the male is her husband(not sure tho) in the beginning they were FAKE nice to me because i was an inherited customer of the old mgmt regime. The FAKE nice change to outright disrespect and rudeness toward me and also other clients. One time in 2017 , Helen came up to me and said I under-tipped my technician. I was in utter shock. in the 25+ years i have been doing my nails no nail mgmt has ever said that to me. Even though reluctant and made to feel embarrassed / shamed i started tipping in bigger amounts. Soon after , helen said it was their new policy that tips be given in cash and not thru debit card. I was like ...OKKK fine so now i had to make sure i had cash on me (wtf , it's 2018, who carries cash!!??). now they want you / demand you to pay cash. Clearly they are not wanting to report their correct earnings to state/ federal IRS tax authorities, basic principle of tax evasion. SHAME ON HELEN AND HER ENTIRE ESTABLISHMENT. SHE WANTS TO BE IN THE POSH AREA OF GREAT NECK BUT DOESNT WANT TO PAY TAXES ON RECORDED EARNINGS. I will never go back there, EVER. they wont last long in that area. read more
