'm a 68-year-old man, and I've bought many vehicles over my lifetime. Without question, my experience at Swanson GMC was the best vehicle-buying experience I've ever had. I had been searching for the right GMC truck for months, and Swanson GMC had exactly what I was looking for. Even though the dealership was about an hour and a half from my home, the drive was absolutely worth it. I especially want to recognize Andrew Dill, the Sales Manager. Andrew is one of the most amazing people I've ever worked with. He did everything in his power to make this purchase happen. The truck had just been traded in and hadn't been detailed yet. It was dirty and needed a lot of cleaning. Andrew apologized and said he usually doesn't like showing vehicles before they're detailed, but I told him I could see through the dirt because I knew it was the truck I wanted. I was also under a tight deadline because I was scheduled to have surgery on July 17. Andrew and the team made everything happen, and we completed the entire purchase on July 14 in just one day. When I picked up the truck, I couldn't believe the transformation. It had been cleaned and detailed beautifully. It looked amazing and was everything I had been searching for. Andrew went far beyond my expectations. He was honest, polite, professional, and truly cared about making sure I was happy. That kind of customer service is hard to find these days. This is the third Buick we have purchased from Swanson Buick and I cannot imagine going anywhere else to purchase a car. Walking into the dealership you are made to feel like family. Our most recent purchase was made possible with the work of both Seth and Andrew. Seth pointed out all the positive aspects of going from a LaCrosse(which I love) to an Envision. GM was offering a great deal on the Envision and we decided to test drive one. When we decided to purchase Swanson had sold theirs and Andrew went on the hunt to find us one with the options we wanted. The process of purchasing the vehicle was quick and delivery was incredible. Andrew reviewed all the bells and whistles the car had and made sure we were both very comfortable before leaving the dealership. He even took the car for an inspection sticker. My family and I are in the market for a car, so we decided to check out a few local dealerships and trust me when I say I wish I had passed on this one! Their website promotes that they are "happy that we've only had 3 negative reviews online in 10 years!" . That is a flat out lie! That is false advertising. I count more than 3 bad reviews just on Yelp alone! Walking into the dirty outdated showroom I felt as if I had walked into the year 1975. The brown floor had a sticky tacky rubber feel under your feet, and the drop ceilings have water stains. I was greeted by a salesmen, however I do not remember his name. He was knowledgeable of the cars, and buying process, but seemed as if he didn't want to be there. When it came down to pricing the vehicle I was interested in, it was much more expensive (couple thousand $$!) then Tuck's GMC in Hudson. Needless to say I passed and walked out. read more

I own a 2008 Buick LaCrosse and have always been impressed by the quality of service at Swanson - most especially since I did not purchase this car from them! I would say that the service is every bit as good as the service one gets at the Mercedes/BMW, etc. dealership where I know they have "white Glove" treatment (which you also pay for!). They are responsive, fast, flexible, and alwyas follow up. They are honest - and do not try to push repairs that might not be necessary. From the ownership down - they are down to earth, easily accessible, hard working, and friendly. From a price perspective - an oil change cost no more than one at Jiffy Lube! I purchased an Acadia Denali from Swanson Buick GMC today. We were looking at several other vehicles at different dealerships and found our experience with Mario at Swanson Buick GMC to be the best. His followup was just right, he handled the sales process incredibly well and made it comfortable. We also really liked the Acadia. We were coming from a slighty larger vehicle, but the interior of the Acadia offers more space and features even in comparison to several other luxury SUVs. It handles great, has exceptional features and it is the best value for the price without a doubt. I would give more stars if I was able to. I called the and Andrew the sales manager picked up and I asked about the inventory. He told me they had one truck left that I was looking for. Told him I'm on my way to see it and he would know it was me because I would be on my motorcycle. Once I got there he came out to greet me and remembered my name. It was easy dealing with him and he answered EVERY question with a smile. He even gave me multiple discounts. Woohooo. Overall the buying process was seamless and when I picked up the truck he went over EVERY single button with me inside and out. I'd give four and a half stars if possible. Stress free purchase. All employees: Andrew and Seth in sales and Dave in service were top notch. Only problems were that car battery was nearly dead in 10 days which they replaced at no charge. My local GM dealers - in Southeastern MA stated they would not honor CarBravo warranty to look at car (before weak battery was discovered). I would purchase the right used car from Swanson GMC again despite their 1.25 hour distance from my house. read more
