At one point, they recommended that the repair of my new car should probably be done by the dealer, rather than by them. What more can you ask for? The environment is very safe and comfortable. NG is busy during the summer for inspections, understandably so. He had a parking lot full of cars to get to. I was on a business trip from California driving a rental car when the check tire pressure light came on with an indication of no pressure in one of my tires. In a panic I pulled off the highway and made my way down to Nashoba Garage in Littleton. I explained to the owner what was happening and he stopped what he was doing to check the car out. He checked the tire pressure and then explained it was probably the sensor as all my tires had good air pressure. I offered to pay but he refused. Chances that I will ever visit this garage again are probably close to zero, but as I drove off I thought to myself if this is how they treat someone who gave them no business and will probably never be back again, I can only imagine the kind of unbelievable customer service they give their regulars. Shop this garage around. I was quoted $1900 to have my catalytic converters replaced for leaks. "they are expensive because they have platinum in them" That's a red flag! I found the parts on line for $700. So add. $200 mark up and he wanted $1000 in labor. This is no where near that amount of work. In addition, it wasn't even the cats that were leaking. It was the flex joints. I had these replaced at an exhaust specialist's shop in Worcester for under $350. I avoided $1500 in reckless repairs by just shopping the repairs. read more

I went to the Nashoba Garage for the annual vehicle inspection. They were quick to get the job done. I would definitely give them 5-star if without the other unexpected thing happened. The inspection was done and the car was pulled out with the engine running. I did not find the inspection paperwork inside the car as normal and I asked for and got it. I drove out directly to CVS. When I was out of the store and started the engine, there's obvious rattling noise which I have never heard before. I went back to the Nashoba Garage. Surprisingly, the technician insisted he heard the noise when he pulled the car into the bay. I have been driving this car(Corolla) for years and it has been smooth. No noise at all before I stopped by for the annual inspection. Per the technician, he believed the noise comes from the lose heat shield. He insisted that they did nothing to cause the noise. I just find it's so hard to believe a smooth car all of sudden became noisy after the inspection and the garage claimed they have nothing to do with it! Never expected them to fit me in on such short notice but by the afternoon water pump was replaced and I was able to plow that night when the storm hit. I noticed on a Friday that my car was leaking oil (car had been serviced at dealership 3 weeks prior), called dealership and another place who could not possibly even look at it before middle of next week. Then I called Nasoba Garage and the guy was very honest, that most likely he would not be able to fix the issue, but was willing to at least look at it on Saturday morning. They verified the leak, explained what was going on and filled it with a quart of oil to keep me going until I could get to the dealership during the week, and only charged me $10! I've only been here once for service and the man who waited on me, not sure if he's the owner, is a truly nice person. I felt like he wasn't doing unnecessary work and the service was relatively cheap (less than I expected, at least). An oil change and the replacement of a gasket being the exhaust manifold was about $100, if I remember correctly. No attitude like he's doing me a favor by fixing my car. A+. I have gone here to get my inspection stickers for several years now. For this, I give them 5 stars. Everyone is very friendly and this prompted me to go for some tune up maintenance. My opinion changed after getting the maintenance. I went in asking for the "60K mile maintenance". They say they did this work, which I have to assume they did. However, the invoice only stated that they did an oil change and the front brakes and routers. Ok. Well, I had no idea what was done! When I called 6 days later, I was told that I should have been given the print out of what they did. When I went in the following day to get that sheet of paper, there was no recollection on who worked on my car and what was done, so another sheet was then printed out. This makes me wonder what was done....nobody seemed to know and the fact that it wasn't outlined on the bill...I won't be going back there for more than an inspection sticker...sorry to say. read more

They were supposed to call me with an estimate while my car was at the garage. I never received that phone call, and when I went to pick up my car, they were charging me over $900! Their excuse was that the owner had to leave early, so I never received my phone call. I ended up offering, and paying, what I felt was reasonable. Dishonest at Nashoba Garage: Born and raised in Littleton. Brought my red civic in for a power steering pump because I was getting a whining noise. Called that evening and the owner said your front end alignment is complete. I said my car is in for a power steering pump. We got your car confused with the white civic, can we keep it another day. Sure, I called the next morning and said please before doing any work supply an estimate, the reply was certainly. No call that day, the following morning I called and said what is the verdict on the red civic. The owner said you need an AC compressor, I said no I don't think so. I said why didn't you call yesterday? The owner said, you know what, come pick up your car, I said OK. I got there and once I asked for the keys to the red civic the owner turned his back to me. The owners son got the key, nice person. I started the car and as I am driving away I hear this bad grinding noise that was not there before. Long story short they had either sabotaged my ac compressor or had removed it without the OK to proceed and then tried to install back into the car. How do I know? Because there was a hissing sound. The hissing sound was ac coolant leaking and spilling. The grinding noise was terrible and I could not drive the car. That model year you can bypass the AC compressor because they sell that vehicle without AC. I installed a new serpentine belt without AC and the grinding noise was history. Update, the whining noise was still present. So now I am out $1200 for AC compressor and still have to get the power steering pump replaced. I miss the Lyons boys (Jack and Pat) who owned a garage in Littleton. They were honest and would have done the right thing.
