In fact, there are 5 different tiers of contact pricing, so that helped me figure out what would fit me best. In addition, they let me try a certain type of contacts for 4 days and come back in to determine if it was a good fit and feel for me. That little gesture really helped solidify my confidence and eased the pain of the cost. Dr. Lindower was very kind and efficient without making me feel rushed. The other two people working here who helped during my appointment - I forget their names! - were also very nice. You could tell they do the same sequence with most of their patients, but I felt cared for and not just another paying customer. They answered my questions along the way and were very descriptive about what a certain test or a certain liquid was for. It was a little challenging getting a first-time appointment, but there was a lot more flexibility for the follow-up appointment. Definitely call with a bunch of time leeway in mind. I'd definitely recommend TotalVision.

The only time I felt the doctor was giving an in-depth look at what was going on with my eyes. They offer you two additional exams that insurance does not pay for, but they are not expensive and worth it for the amount of detail analysis/images they are able to get on your eyes. I hate shopping and shopping for glasses is not remotely on my list of "favorite things" to do; however, she was very helpful and narrowed the type of styles I liked so I could pick what worked best for me. Just got my glasses today - in only about a week, and just in time for a long trip. Thank you.

I needed contacts also, and the doctor wouldn't see me due to "time constraints." To make a long story short, I lost 3 hours of my time and still no prescription. Icing on the cake was that at the second location I was booked for yet another appointment that didn't actually exist.

I am post-op day 5 from my Lasik procedure. I was nervous about doing the procedure and put it off…read morefor years. I can't say enough great things about LasikPlus and the procedure itself. It lasted a total of 9 minutes! And my vision is 20/15 across the board. My eyesight was -5.5 in both eyes and I had astigmatism, I had been a glasses wearer my entire life. There's nothing like waking up everyday and being able to see unassisted. If you're doubting doing the procedure, just do it! Only thing I would say is give yourself a day or two off from work after the procedure to rest your eyes and be sure to take your eye drops every couple of hours as they recommend. They say you can go to work the next day, but don't. I worked the very next day after my procedure and my eyes were quite tired. I do have to look at a computer screen for most of my work so there's the caveat there. I have no regrets about this procedure and you won't either!

Im at day 3 and seeing better than ever. I asked many questions and they were all answered without any rush. I love how Dr. Kim was able to tell me about her personal experience with Lasik, it's always nice to get questions answered by someone who has had it. Dr. Shriver on surgery day was so calm and quick, definitely helped with anxiety. (If you're like me and do experience anxiety definitely let it be known, they were nice enough to prescribe an anxiety pill for the procedure.) Highly recommended, friendly staff. Went to see Karen at The eyeglass Place in Newington. I needed to update the Rx on my shooting…read moreglasses. Although I had originally purchased them online a few years ago, I decided that I wanted to work with someone local, especially an optician who was familiar with shooters. Karen was GREAT. She took the time to dial in the Rx for both pistol shooting and for skeet/trap shooting. I was even able to bring in my pistol to fine-tune the distance (emptied and safety-checked, of course!) We created interchangeable lenses for the two different disciplines. (I have interchangeable lenses for my dominant right eye: one optimized for pistol shooting, focusing on the front sight, and another optimized for distance while shooting clays. The left eye is optimized for distance in both cases.) And I also got separate lens sets for low/flat light and for bright light conditions. Even better, she was able to use my existing frames (Ranger Edge, https://www.reranger.com/products/edge?variant=32703827607691). I used them for the first time a few nights ago at a pistol class. What a HUGE difference! I actually won the shooting competition that night! I HIGHLY recommend Karen and The Eyeglass Place in Newington, not only for your general eyeglasses but especially if you're a shooter and you want to work with someone who "gets it!"
