I went to Swan nails for the first time ever to get a pedicure and acrylic manicure. My total was $50 which was not bad at all. My pedicure turned out beautiful. The problem was the acrylic nails. A woman named Linda did my nails in between taking phone calls and generally just rushing so she could get to one of her regulars that walked in after she started my nails. She did not trim or push back my cuticles and when she finished the manicure, all of my nails were different lengths and had multiple dents/bubbles in the polish. After 3 days I am now at a new salon getting my nails filled in already because since she rushed and did nothing with my cuticles, they have grown out already. Waste of time and money, I will never go back here. My nails look HORRIBLE. read more

I'm taking away a star because I found a better salon. I feel my business was taken for granted here and the quality went down a little. I was a very frequent customer, usually came in weekly. Service was still good, but not as good as in the beginning. The owner is a very nice person, but the two sisters who worked with her are now gone. it's a shame because they were really good. I can't say anything bad, but can't jump for joy any more. The more I came in, the longer I was asked to wait, even when I made an appointment. I called to make a same day appointment and was told to 'come tomorrow' even though they take walk in clients. When they were busy, they tried to push me off to a less busy day. That's not what I would do if I had a business. Cater to the good clients who come back, keep them coming, y'know? I really like the ladies, I still do, but I needed to move on to a place that appreciates my business. read more

I had a gel manicure done 1 week ago. It has already started to chip, it started chipping two days ago actually. I paid $55 (including a pedicure) thinking I wouldn't have to worry about getting my nails done for at least 2 weeks. The tech that did my nails was also very sloppy, they are uneven near my cuticles. I'm very disappointed. I liked going to this place bc they take walk ins and they're nice but this will be my last time. read more

I have a salon I love going to but it was closed so I decided to try this place out . It was my first time here and I came maybe 40 minutes to closs for a gel fill in. The lady was rushing the whole process terribly. She filed my nail so fast and hard the she cut my pinky and made it bleed. She also burned me a couple times with that tool they use. And she was constantly talking to the other lady's in Vietnamese I'm guessing which makes me uncomfortable because there was only me and one other lady in there. Anyways my nails were all uneven; I had a French manicure with glitter tips and the line WAS not straight at ALL. The lady didn't even wait for me to tip her because I'm prettt sure she was aware of the shit job she did. One of the worse experiences I had . Will stick to my usual spot. This was my first time here and I would give this place 0 stars if I can. Im so disgusted about how they treat their customers. I had a no chip mani and pedi done. Pedi was eh okay... Could've done more work on the cuticles. Then the lady asks me if I want a foot scrub done for $5. This is unusual because most places have that included in the "spa pedi". So whatever I didn't care for it... I was done with the pedi and then had my no chip done. The lady was so rough on my cuticle it started to bleed really bad.. She saw how upset I was because it hurt so bad. She then puts so green stuff on it claiming its "medicine" and let me tell you how badly I wanted to cry it burned so bad I pulled my hand away from her. I told her how badly that hurt and she's like go wash your hands. Im there washing my hands while my thumb is bleeding and I couldn't get it to stop. So I grabbed the paper towel to wrap it around my thumb. I go back to her and she starts painting my nails while my thumb is bleeding!! WTh?!? how unsanitary. I was so upset at her how she didn't care that my thumb was still bleeding and she's just painting my nails. I told her to leave it alone because it was unbearable. She then put a piece of cotton swab on the part were it was bleeding so she can continue to paint that nail. I was so aggravated at her that I just wanted to leave. Another lady came by asking if she wants me to put medicine on it. I told her absolutely not because of how bad it hurt the first time. I told her how upset I was and that this is not acceptable. So she said shell give me $10 off... like really thats all you can do for a customer who was cut. I expressed myself to her and asked her to show me her license because I was uncertain if the tools are sanitized and I didn't want to get an infection because who knows if she even is licensed to do this. She flipped out, started yelling at me and pulled out a piece of paper and wrote that they are not liable for any injuries that happened. She also stated that she doesn't need to show me her license and didn't prove to me that she is liscensed.. I was beyond furious I ended up paying for the service and walked out. I had been to Swan Nails many, many times. I came in on a Sunday. I saw that there would be a slight wait. But, I decided to stay. Went next door to Rex's to pick up some food. Came back. They took the people that came in in back of me first. Then, another person came in and asked for a "No Chip" manicure. The manicurist who had just shown up decided that that customer should come first. Well, I thought that I was going to have a relaxing Sunday afternoon. But, when they did that to me as a repeat customer, I thought, I'm out of here. They do not value their customers and it's all about the bucks. Second time I've been here, first time ever wasn't too great but it's close to my house so I decided to give it a second chance. HORRIBLE IDEA. My nails are natural and I get a over lay so they don't break and the women I had ,after putting on the over lay drilled into my nail. So now the next time I get my nails done I'm scared to see what it's gonna look like when theses are soaked off. On top of it I told her and what does she do? Grabs the drill and starts drilling more... like what?? The paint job wasn't even good and the nail shape I asked for wasn't even done. I would definitely not recommend going here. Out of all the nail salons near my house this is definitely my least favorite. She was very rude to not only me but the customer before me, so be warned. I also went with a friend and the lady who did her made her nails turn yellow... we have no clue how she said it was from the weather even when it was just on one hand and not the other.. doesn't make sense. If your in the area go to rainbow nails or the salon in the hip if you want your experience to be even a little better. read more

If I can give this place no stars I would! I used to love this place they used to do a great job.. Well not anymore! So I went to get my nails done yesterday, and I really wanted a black color and just a simple shape to my acrylic not to square and not to round. Anyway I can tell the ldy is rushing because there's another lady waiting and the shapes are all uneven and than she put the nail polish on and didn't really put it on normally so it looked like a huge glob on my nails. After she was done she didn't ask if I liked it, so I told the owner I don't like how it looks so chunky and she goes well that's how dark colors look. At that point I got so annoyed because my toes are that black color and they look fine because the other lady want rushing! And I told her I needed them fixed so that was another 30 mins waiting for someone to color my nails. I don't know how people even go here because the lady next go me looked like her nails were f-up too! Very nice and quite, the staff are very friendly have excellent service and are very accomodating especially with latex allergy. They give cery excellent and attentive service, this is my first time visiting and I would really recommend them, my feet and hands were given such detailed and gentle care and they feel so refreshed. The prices are good and they also accept visa and debit cards which is a nice plus, they do have no chip which is a very professional and clean look. They have vast selections of colors and nail styles to choose from and best of all the staff is very sweet they are even very good at last minute and walk in customers I have to say the whole overall experince is very pleasant and they don't have that very heavy smell of nail products in the air, they have a room where you have facial care done seperate from the medi pedi area. They are a clean and very hygienic establisment and I really recommend giving them a try. Overall I'm satifisted. read more

I have followed the owner of this salon to her new location which is a farther drive from me. She is amazing and has a friendly, patient staff that she has carefully selected to work with her customers. I have known the owner of Swan Nails for 7 years and have not gone to anybody else to have my work done. Her prices are outstanding and she takes the time to do every detail without rushing you. The salon is clean, the pedicure tubs are thoroughly cleaned after each pedicure, the staff washes their hands constantly and you are always getting top of the line products. I have referred several people to this salon and now those people are regulars at Swan Nails. The parking couldn't be more convenient and there are two fantastic places to eat, while you are waiting or on your way out, on either side of the salon. Swan Nails is getting busier and busier each time I go, making an appointment is always a safe bet but walk- in's are always taken fast. read more
