When we arrived we had to wait for a few minutes prior to us being able to enter the store since there were so many people inside. All of the employees that we came in contact with were very friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. There were a lot of nice items including shoes, purses, and clothes for sale. Employees also gave out wine, water, cookies, pretzels, and bags with purchase. There was also a DJ. More giveaways & sales will be available for the grand opening on Thursday.

I love my StyleFinder clothes and I finally put my finger on it the other day...the difference! Since I've had help from someone picking out the right sizes and styles for me, even if I am at my heavier weight, I don't feel fat. How much is that worth ladies? Some of my StyleFinder skirts and dresses have linings in them that help create a nice, tucked in shape without feeling tight or restrictive in any way. Most all of the clothes have a flexible waistline so you're not tugging at it if you gain a few pounds but the clothes are not in any way frumpy! Also, since the staff will help you figure out which pieces are interchangeable, you'll get more bang for your buck...an entire wardrobe, rather than a bunch of random pieces of clothing. The building was once the NC State Bar's headquarters. Parking is on the street or at a nearby garage, so it can be somewhat challenging. Did you know that Pam Blondin, the owner, campaigned and built Raleigh's first parklet, and she commissioned the city's first sidewalk mural? She is a true pioneer of downtown's public culture. Deco Raleigh is an upscale gift shop with curated gifts. I thought the store was a good size and bigger than it appeared from the street. But the aisles were a little narrow in places. The store carries work from over 100 North Carolinian artisans. Inside, there is pottery, artwork, jewelry, textiles, apparel, home decor, puzzles, books, cards, and other unique finds. The store carries the "Raleigh" and "North Carolina" themed items. You'll also find some gourmet food items. The custom wrapping station makes things so convenient.
