There is very room to walk in the aisles because of the huge inventory. That is a compliment, not a complaint! When you go in and make a right, it's all boots. Boots, boots, boots, and more boots. From casual to high-end exotic skins. And I was impressed with a lot of the prices as well. I know some of the boots they sell, sell for much more in other places. They also have hard-to-find boots, too. Going in and making a left turn you find clothes and hats. We bought a stuffed bear and pink cowboy hat for our 2-year-old granddaughter. She picked them out, grabbing the hat and putting it on and grabbing the bear and carrying it with her. Of course, we are grandparents so we don't spoil her. Not at all. *COUGH* *COUGH* I asked a few questions to some employees and they were helpful and knowledgeable. They also had smiles and happy attitudes. I'll admit I saw some things I'm going to save up for and go back and buy. I highly recommend going here.

I've had luck with finding some staple items here for fair prices. $30-50 for a nice blouse or casual dress. The reason the rating is so low is because of the manager who oversees the store. She isn't there every time I have gone in, and the experience is better without her. She seemed very standoffish and was short with me at checkout. Very unapproachable. HELLO, this is retail. On another note, the lighting in the fitting rooms is excruciatingly bad. I feel like I have gained 10 lbs every time I look in the mirror. It is very unflattering and often causes me to put the items I tried on back.

I tried to look online for directions or instructions on how to consign with them and there's nothing listed. I was trying to send business to local businesses since we live in Wake Forest so I was hoping to send business here. Today while running errands, I stopped in and asked how to make an appointment for consignment. She looked me up and down and said they don't take just anyone's clothes and tossed a four page pamphlet at me with a list of clothes they don't want, designers they don't want, and how to properly clean and present cloths to them. The whole thing seemed very harsh and abrasive. When I told her what items I had she was like "well I'm booked until June so you can try back then." I was floored. The store is extremely dated looking despite the requirement for "in style" fashions. I will not be back to shop or consign here. I do not recommend them whatsoever.

I also appreciate the diversity of styles as well, something for all sizes, shapes, colors, and price ranges. The pricing is very good in comparison to the quality of the clothing! She was honest about what looked good and what I should pass on - and even though she had never met me, was great about finding dresses that would work well with my body type. I am 50s+ female from CA and was traveling through the Carolinas. I was prepared for the heat, but not the humidity. I needed a new wardrobe stat! I researched online and discovered a number of boutique shops in Raleigh. Apparently, I started at the wrong end of the village, as I spent 1+ hours searching through racks at other boutiques before finally making my way to Kannon's. Note: some of the other boutiques had good selections, but all seemed to be geared toward a much younger crowd. I was lucky to be approached by Francesca (might also go by Francine as I think that's what her card said). She asked what type of occasions I would need outfits for and immediately came up with selections that fit my body type and my sense of style. There were a few that made it to the reject pile - either because they didn't fit exactly right or were unflattering. In either case, it was Francesca who gave them the thumbs down, which I definitely appreciate. I have never found a boutique with so many different styles and with such a helpful staff. I am tempted to fly back solely for the purpose of being able to shop with Francesca!
