I did not feel at all like she wanted to welcome us. She did not enjoy anything about her job. I ordered two chocolate shakes and an orange aid. The lady asked me if I wanted pineapple or cherries or anything and when I looked at her and said no, I'd like the shakes plain please she snapped at me. I'm talking about the orange aid. I told her I'm not from here. I did not know that you guys added anything to it and I'm sorry. I just want a plain one. We went outside to the patio when our order was done, and I realized I did not have a straw for my orange aid. So my daughter went in to grab another straw and again the young redheaded lady told her I already gave you straws. My daughter said you gave us straws for the shake, but not for the orange drink. The redheaded lady orange told my daughter, You mean, orange aid. No, I wasn't born yesterday and I come here twice a year and I drop a lot of money at your store. I know that it seems like it'd be a desirable place for young people to work because you get a discount and it's a pretty cool place to work at I think that this girl might need some more training or maybe another girl who really wants to work at that store should take her place.

It is located near the Outlet Mall but far enough away (half a mile) from the traffic from there. The shopping center is technically located in Selma, NC. The parking lot is large, but you might still have trouble finding a parking place as it is a busy store. DeWayne's is not an outlet store but a high-quality, family-owned store with name brands. You will find clothing, Pandora, Kendra Scott, Hey Dude, Vineyard Vines, Simply Southern, Tommy Bahama, Julie Vos, Birkenstock, and Yeti coolers, as well as shoes and accessories. I am sure I missed a lot. I wouldn't normally go two days in a row, but after I posted my photos, I saw other photos of the upstairs. So I had to see what I missed, and I decided to go looking for an item. Upstairs was the Attic, where items are discounted 50% and 70% on Wednesdays, I was informed by an employee. Christmas Land is the largest Christmas store in North Carolina, with eleven decorated rooms. The Garden Center with indoor and outdoor plants was another popular area. They had bird seed, different types of soil, and containers. The Sweet Shop had a variety of fudge and Hershey's ice cream. There were other specialty foods throughout the store and closer to the cash registers. Everyone here was friendly, and I was even recognized on my second visit. When I entered for the first time, the employee could tell I was a little overwhelmed and helped me learn the layout of the store. If the outlet mall isn't for you, make sure you stop at DeWayne's for a much better experience. On my first visit, I left with Suzy Zoo items, fudge and chocolates. While I didn't find what I was looking for on the second day, I found something in the Christmas Land that would work. The line to check out was much longer, so I kept finding more items while waiting to pay. It was a good thing I didn't get a cart. They do have a rewards club, which I should have joined, as I am looking forward to returning.

The clothes are so stylish and prices are reasonable for a boutique. They carry XS through plus sizes and also have accessories like shoes and jewelry. Tootsie and her staff are very helpful with suggestions and are knowledgeable about the styles and fit of the items. I have been in twice and bought something both times! They even have a couple of chairs for your shopping companions to sit and wait for you. This boutique is definitely worth a visit!

I tried to look online for directions or instructions on how to consign with them and there's nothing listed. I was trying to send business to local businesses since we live in Wake Forest so I was hoping to send business here. Today while running errands, I stopped in and asked how to make an appointment for consignment. She looked me up and down and said they don't take just anyone's clothes and tossed a four page pamphlet at me with a list of clothes they don't want, designers they don't want, and how to properly clean and present cloths to them. The whole thing seemed very harsh and abrasive. When I told her what items I had she was like "well I'm booked until June so you can try back then." I was floored. The store is extremely dated looking despite the requirement for "in style" fashions. I will not be back to shop or consign here. I do not recommend them whatsoever.

Between a choice of going to the mall or coming to Next, Next wins every time! My husband appreciates that and I get so many compliments. I am so big on customer service and I love the way that they greet me at the door and makes me feel like I am shopping at a high end department store and that "boutiquish" feel while shopping. The quality of their clothing is great and you can tell they take great thought and care in the clothes, shoes, handbags, and jewelry they consign. I also appreciate the diversity of styles as well, something for all sizes, shapes, colors, and price ranges. The pricing is very good in comparison to the quality of the clothing! Had very highly expectations that I would be treated with courteous customer service and at least get acknowledge when we walked in. When we walked in we did not get acknowledged. Nor did someone come up to ask if I need assistance or help with finding something. Another customer came in, they where treated very differently then how we did. The younger lady at the cash register and the older female just looked at us. The younger lady was creeping behind me and felt very intimidated and uncomfortable. That's when we decided to leave. Never have I encountered such experience.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to look for boots. Three folks behind the counter, no one…read moreacknowledged us coming in (we were one of two customers in the store - no one else in the parking lot). A staff person approached after about 5 minutes and I asked how the boot display was organized and gave her a couple of boots I wanted to try on and gave her my size range. She returned with the same boots and said I should try them on to see how they work before she pulled the matching boot from the back. I requested the second boot and she really wanted me to try just one, rather than arguing about getting both boots, we left without spending money at this store. Weekend staff is not engaged, may be different during the week but I would get my hopes up for good service.

We went in looking for horseback gear (just in the hopes we'd find it here) - definitely geared more toward western gear and boots, of course! Now that we know what Tracie's has, we will definitely shop here for winter and outdoor boots. They do sell Wrangler retro jeans and Rock n Roll denim as well. Plenty of close by parking and great WF location.
