We stopped here as we were passing by. It was an unplanned visit. The building is a decent size, but boy is it packed with stuff! There is very room to walk in the aisles because of the huge inventory. That is a compliment, not a complaint! When you go in and make a right, it's all boots. Boots, boots, boots, and more boots. From casual to high-end exotic skins. And I was impressed with a lot of the prices as well. I know some of the boots they sell, sell for much more in other places. They also have hard-to-find boots, too. Going in and making a left turn you find clothes and hats. We bought a stuffed bear and pink cowboy hat for our 2-year-old granddaughter. She picked them out, grabbing the hat and putting it on and grabbing the bear and carrying it with her. Of course, we are grandparents so we don't spoil her. Not at all. *COUGH* *COUGH* I asked a few questions to some employees and they were helpful and knowledgeable. They also had smiles and happy attitudes. My cousin and I came from out of town just to visit this store. The three hour drive was worth it. Fantastic selection of merchandise. The lady who helped with the Stetson hats was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. There was also a lady in the jeans section who offered some good suggestions and provided a lot of options to try on. All of the staff was friendly and very helpful. No one hovered over us or rushed us but they were all friendly and available for any questions we had. Tremendous selection of clothes,hats and boots. Well worth the trip. read more

Nice place, friendly staff but not so much on high-end exotic boots and hats, which is my preference. I went in looking for Hippo and Elephant Boots to no avail. There was a couple of pair with the pattern, but not the real deal. I also wanted 100X StetsonCowboy hat with no luck. read more

This place is always so well organized and all of the ladies are super kind and knowledgeable! What prompted me to write this review though, was Megan! Today, I'm on a time crunch and I'm not able to come in, but I needed to know if they had a certain color button up for my SO. His shirt needs to match my dress that we are wearing to an event. I called the store to see if they carried this color shirt and Megan went above and beyond to help me find exactly the shirt we needed! She was super helpful and she saved me lots of time! Overall amazing store, 99 percent of the staff is amazing. I always spend $500 plus in this store easily. Only one down fall. One young man follows me through out the whole store watching me as if I'm going to steal something. It's quite obnoxious and makes me want to leave. 10 times out of 10 he does this every occasion I have been to the store. Like really dude you make me feel so uncomfortable. read more

Good selection of everything, don't mind me I walk in there at 6:24 the store closes at 7 and we was there just to get a buckle in and out kind of thing the young girls who worked there started to make faces and turn off the lights to the displays and the store radio (keep in mind we are Hispanics) we walked to the back quickly to look at there felts and a young lady walked back there and was stomping and then came back out and said something to another girl and started laughing we then ask them if we could get a buckle from there display and she was so rude to ask which one and the min we walked out the door she locked it up but they were all so nice to the white peoples who where there I just didn't like that they where so rude to the only Hispanics there read more

I have never had a pair of western boots, but I went in there looking for something I could get muddy and slip on and off easily when I went in the house. The staff here were fantastic! Very attentive and informative. I had some "new guy" questions about toes and styles, and they were patient and knowledgeable. They even told me to come back on Saturday when those boots were on sale, which I did, and that saved me $40.00. But it gets even better! I wore my boots for one day, and realized that I had chosen the wrong size. They were very muddy and I no longer had the box, so I knew a return would be out of the question. I took them back, hoping the manager would feel sorry for me and sell me new boots of the right size at a discount. To my surprise, I discovered that the model of Durango boot had a 30-day comfort guarantee, and they told me they'd switch them out or refund my money! Even though the new boots were no longer on sale, they did an even swap. I also took pictures of some of the tags, and comparison shopped online. I checked two sets of Ariat boots, Durango boots, Stetson hats, and Carhartt pants and shirts, and discovered that Country Connection's everyday prices were in most cases exactly the same as online. I don't know how they can offer such great services at online prices, but they sure did. I'll be a regular customer here, for sure. read more

Fast friendly and a great selection of western wear. I called them looking for a bolo tie. They had some great choices all of them very authentic.
