During the playoff, which was only a couple days, we heard from multiple people that their vehicle had been broken into and items stolen. Even with nothing visible, car prowls seem to be quite normal. There are no concession stands here, so bring your own food and drinks. The fields are okay at best. They have a turf Infield and a grass outfield. Normally that is not an issue but the Grass in the outfield was long and it definitely impacted play. The lip from the infield transition to the grass outfield was very pronounced and a hard ground ball was very tough since the ball would hit the lip and pop up. There is a parking lot above the fields but the access to the fields were blocked by locked gates and other than that you are parking on the street. Definitely not a place to host a playoff that is an entry point into the state finals.

The infield dirt is THE loosest and dustiest field you will ever play on, and it's uneven. If there was any rain recently, expect areas with pooled water. But hey, it's free, usually open, and there are multiple fields to use, so you can't complain too much.

There was a good amount of parking but I'm sure it could get packed if there's a tournament of some sort going on. This looks like a great park if you're looking to stay active.

One of the best parts is simply relaxing along the waterfront path and watching the steady stream of Washington State Ferries traveling back and forth across the Sound. During the summer months, the park even features an outdoor swimming pool. Our main reason for visiting was to see Bruun Idun created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo, and it did not disappoint. While walking the Puget Sound trail to find the troll, we also spotted a bald eagle perched in its nest--very cool! After snapping photos, we were treated to a beautiful sunset over the water. With nature, art, and incredible views all in one place, Lincoln Park is absolutely worth a visit.

If you are looking to play competitive pickleball, the community of pickleball players here after 4pm are fairly high-level and many of them play in local pickleball tournaments. Let's not forget the GIANT grass field behind the Hiawatha building that summer concerts are held at! It is located right next to a Safeway and across the street from a fancy sandwich shop, so picnics are very easy events to plan or to execute on a whim! On sunny afternoons you will find an abundance of children and on rainy days it us pretty quiet. Solid family park.
