It runs along the Green River Trail, and is easily accessible from a nearby parking lot near the trail. This seems like a great place for a variety of low cost, corporate events from one of the nearby buildings. They have plenty of space there for even hundreds of people if the occasion called for it. With access from the trail, you can even haul in quite a bit of equipment if you wanted to provide your own grill and play gear. This park has a path around the perimeter and along the trail, giving you options for walking around it if you're not wanting to get into the often wet grass. This location is not often overcome with birds, but you should expect the crows to be looking for snacks since they expect human activity. They have ample pavilion space, and from what I have seen it does not require any kind of reservation, so it should be first come first serve. I have rarely seen any kind of large groups out here, more is the shame since it is actually a pretty nice location to enjoy a sunny afternoon. Briscoe park is a definitely a little known destination for most. It is still a great respite for trail goers and park grill masters alike.

This trail starts at the Black River Riparian Forest and goes....well, I don't know. I always come here for a super quick walk and have never gone from Point A to B. This trail boasts a pretty long boardwalk that extends into the wetland area, giving you a great opportunity to enjoy nature while also being in a central location that's super easy to get to. While traffic can be heard, it's overall a quiet place to go and the birds seem to enjoy hanging around - definitely awesome during the Spring when everything is growing and green and the animals have their adorable little babies. If you're going to the mall or one of the other many, many business in the area, consider swinging by right quick!

This hike was approximately 7 miles and beautiful! The forest here is absolutely gorgeous. Green trees and so many ferns. Super wet and foggy but not raining. Our trail destination was the south tiger mountain loop. I followed (and trusted, lol), my more experienced hiker friends with following signage. This, so many photos of signs. The trail had one muddy spot but the rest was easy to follow. Signage mentioned that horses share the trail but we didn't see any. The peak was very foggy so we didn't see anything. No restrooms anywhere that I could see. Parking, I followed AllTrails direction who h led me to park on the road. Beautiful forest! Can't wait to explore more. Happy Yelping.

For this brief excursion, we parked at High Point Trailhead and did the West Tiger Trail #3 and Around the Lake Trail. I'm in absolute awe of this forest, especially knowing there's so much more to explore. I love looking at everyone else's photos of Tiger Mountain because there's some cool tree formations I want to check out. I'm obsessed with foot bridges, greenery, and lakes. It's notoriously intense, though. Other things I've read in reviews include only bringing active dogs and watching out for mountain bikers. Would totally come back to Washington just to explore more of Tiger Mountain. Beautiful chunk of nature.

There are numerous parking areas along this tail and it connects up directly with the Interurban in Tukwila and Kent for those looking to keep going south. At dusk and dawn you can find a TON of bunnies and perhaps even a coyote. Most areas have good lighting, but I wouldn't recommend using this trail as it gets dark.

The folks that uses this trail all vary in age, it's definitely beautiful to see! You can walk all the way from the end of Tukwila to Auburn! Absolutely a great motivation. Doesn't feel very peaceful when people are talking loudly and there are dogs off leash roaming around (love dogs but feel that they should be leashed). We must have come across a trail running race because there were trail runners passing us every minute or two. We had to stop continuously to make room for them to go by since the trail is narrow. The fireplace is a really cool spot.

The first part of the trail was uphill and not necessarily super hard but man, I got sweaty. All around was green it felt like hiking in Jurassic park. The trail was a bit overgrown on a few places but not too much so. We never really got to see a view but enjoyed a snack at the fireplace. Parking lot was nice and had a bathroom. This neighborhood park offers a few trails, maybe a mile out at most. There seem to be two main…read moretrails, one that goes off to the Wind Tree trail head, and another that goes down May Creek (follow signs for a Boren Bridge). Both seem pretty manageable, but the Wind Tree trail seems to be more popular for everyday neighborhood walking. The Wind Tree trail is a pretty straight path, little elevation change, some roots etc. Very walking friendly. Closer to the Wind Tree trail head, there's an informational board about the terrain and history of the area. The trail down to May Creek is more tricky, winding down to the water with some short switchbacks (a total of ~100' drop over half a mile). Towards the bottom, there are some thoughtfully placed benches to stop and enjoy the view - whether it's overlooking the forest or the burbling creek. The creek is really pretty too! The shore is gently sloped so you can get close to the water. It's a little muddier and more slippery in the fall-winter-spring, especially once all the dead leaves are on the trail and in the process of decomposing.
