This was my first visit to Svs! For the past 20 years I have been going to a different eye doctor. Don't get me wrong I still love my other doctor. But I wanted to get a second opinion. I was very impressed when I called to make sure they got my appointment ( because I booked online) and I was wondering how much my exam was going to be because my other eye doctor told me it wasn't going to be covered. Than Svs vision gave me the good news that they already got it approved from my insurance. So I had a $0 copay. So I went in and I loved my experience there. I would definitely go back. We were all just joking around and having a good time. The eye doctor listened to me very well. And gave me his honest opinion on what to do after my exam. After I went to go look at glasses. The gal that worked with me to pick out my glasses was very patient with me. I am very Indecisive when it comes to glasses. 1. Because they aren't cheap 2. Because they are worn everyday so I have to love them. It was a great environment. Everyone was helping me pick out my glasses lol I even found sunglasses to fall in love with too. I can't wait to get all my new glasses. And to be able to see better I hope. Over all I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a eye exam or new glasses. read more

The ladies working at my local shop were so helpful and fun! I asked their opinion on frames, and they all chipped in and grabbed various styles for me to try on. We had so much fun! They ended up picking out a pair I absolutely LOVE! A+ customer service! I appreciate how sanitary everything was too - they had a great system for trying on the glasses without having to worry about cross-contamination. Important in these trying Covid times we are in! I'd also missed a voicemail from them trying to reschedule as the doctor I was booked with had to go home and take care of a sick child. I apologized for missing the call, but the lady behind the counter was SO NICE about it. She had me wait at the counter while she talked with the other doctor on duty. That doctor very kindly squeezed me in, and I was able to get my prescription without having to come back! I didn't feel rushed or anything either! I'm so pleased with the crew in my local store (on Tittabawassee in Saginaw Michigan) and will DEFINITELY be coming back for a second pair! read more

I had Dr Mielke for the first time during this eye exam. She was excellent! Of course, she was thorough in her examination. But, she also engaged in some great discussion and took the time to explain my various options (I'm on the verge of needing bifocals). After some chatting back and forth, I felt comfortable in my decision. The counter staff was definitely busy! There was a steady stream of people through the door, but they didn't seem phased by it. They were courteous and helpful. The gentlemen (Patrick, I think) who helped me order my contacts also prepared some pricing for a pair of new eyeglasses. He helped me narrow down the frames I was considering without any pressure. Overall, it was a great experience. I look forward to ordering the eyeglasses when I go back to pick up my contact lenses in a week or two. read more

I really loved the environment of the entire office. You come in with your mask on, they greet you at the door, give you a 15 second screening concerning the coronavirus and your off to the back for your routine eye exam. My ophthalmologist was really sweet and professional. He had me in and out and cracked a few jokes along the way. I found out that I needed glasses full time, went to the front and picked out my glasses. The optician was quite shocked when I look around and pick out a few and put them in the basket, but I spotted a pair of frames that caught my eye and, immediatly chose them. She said most teens take much longer to pick out glasses. We sat back down at the desk, she marked my glasses, we paid and we'll receive my glasses within 7-10 days! read more

Ive been a patient with SVS Vision in Saginaw for several years now and have never taken the time to send a review, even though I continue to recommend them. They make the entire process quick, easy and pleasant even with my crazy schedule.The exam itself is very thorough, the staff is knowledgeable and handles everything through the process with or without insurance. They assist in your selections, not rushing you through the fitting process, etc. Im amazed how fast my order is completed and ready for pick up. I always leave there feeling like I got something important accomplished and with no worries. Penny has taken care of my friends and families needs and leads a great team. Attentive staff, was greeted as soon as I walked in. As soon as you walk in there is hand sanitizer to use as soon as you enter (and before leaving of course). I also appreciated the social distancing (they don't schedule very many patients at once) and sanitation efforts! Love the fact that they give you personal baskets for the glasses you try on (so they know what to sanitize). Dr's were very nice, explained everything in detail and seemed to be involved/knowledgeable in the insurance & front office part as well. It's always nice to see Dr's involved in their patients care 100%, and equally involved in their office. 10/10 will return & recommend! read more

In the middle of my eye exam the whole shopping complex experienced a power outage. The SVS employees were so kind and tried to reschedule any of us that hadn't finished our exams or were waiting for their exams. They kept us up to date on the outage through the consumers webpage. They called me later that day when the power was back on and said if I was able to make it back there again that day they would get me right in. I went back and finished my exam and then they showed me the best options their store could provide for my needs. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism. read more

From the easy web scheduling, to the email reminder to the happy staff member who called as a personal reminder everything is really easy. The staff here is so upbeat and helpful, from greeting you when you walk in the door to helping through glasses/contacts purchase and navigating the best use of insurance allowances. My son needed glasses very bad..His eyes were bothering him and he couldn't see very well...A friend told me about SVS, so I called for an appointment...I was so surprised how fast they got him in, it was the same week of my calling! Making an appt online was so easy, and the wait wasn't terribly long...meaning how far out appts were. The staff was so great in helping me pick my frame, I was a bit indecisive . The doctor was so nice, and explained everything he was doing so I knew what to expect. Got my glasses in 7 days, and picked up curbside, because of you know, the world we're living in. The staff at SVS was great. They are taking every precaution available during the Covid crisis, so I felt completely safe. I had my I exam and then the staff member helped with picking out anew set of frames. Because of Covid she even allowed me to wear them outside to get my wifes opinion. Going to SVS Vision Center was a great experience. I had been there in their old loc in 2021. But yesterday I went to their new location and they were great. From the confirmation phone call from Lisa to the eye exam from Dr. Phil to the help with selecting new glasses to the paperwork being done, to questions being answered. The appointment was quick and efficient. The staff was very nice and willing to go outside with me to allow me to try on the frames with a mirror mask free so I could make sure I made the best selection. They also helped me go over my options with my insurance and make sure I knew how any additional add-ons would affect my cost. I was very happy with the service. read more

The whole experience was awesome for my kids. Especially with it being the first time for my youngest. They are very excited to get their new glasses. Even though they were very busy helping people pick out and order glasses ect. when I walked in for my appointment they checked me in and had me back with the doc. In under 10 minutes! There was no pressure to go outside my insurance guidelines to get better frames/lenses. But they did explain I could get them for a price difference. read more

I had an easy time making an appointment. Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful. I was able to get my eyes checked after way too long.
