They have so many ways to help support your vision, some cutting edge stuff...so if you have a vision problem and you aren't satisfied with your current providers, give Auburn Optical a try! In addition to being a highly knowledgeable office, the staff here is what completely sets this place apart from the rest! Can I just tell you that. I have tried on 925,600 pairs of glasses without putting a dent in the options it seems - it's like their shelves are made of whatever Mary Poppins used for her bag - and received kind, authentic and specific feedback about each option! I keep checking because I've done this a couple of times, and everyone is always so happy to share their thoughts and help me narrow my options down. You can tell that this isn't just a place to work, it's truly a place where they all want to be and are always happy to help. On top of all that, I love the humor of this place! If you are looking for a stuffy, boring "is this better 1, or 2" this place is still who you should choose, but you might not like the jovial nature of the office. Auburn Optical is amazing!! The doctor and staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Every time I come in they are interested not only in my eyes but how I've been. They care. I recently poked my eye with a sharp, hard, dead flower stem and they were able to get me in that day. Doctor was super calm and gentle when pulling the shard out of my eye, and his wife Mary was by my side on standby to offer support. Doc and all the staff are such wonderful people!! Greatest experience! Everyone is so welcoming. Dr. Martin has the greatest sense of humor and is so kind. His staff is wonderful and so helpful. The lady that helped me select my glasses, I believe her name is Debbie sorry I'm really bad with names. Anyway Debbie was the cats meow, she went through and picked out at least 30 pair to try on, she was so spot on with my eyeglass shape and my personality. It made such a dreadful thing so much fun. I'm very excited about my new glasses. I highly recommend going to this office for your next eye exam or any eye needs, you will not be disappointed. I LOVE the staff. My son who is now 4 was diagnosed with a very strong prescription. They worked so well with him to get him the correct lenses and the correct frames. His lazy eye has lessened and I believe overtime we will see a full recovery. Dr Martin is very personable and makes my son smile with his balloon animals. I went in yesterday to have my own eyes examined and the employee Abby, a senior in high school was working with us prior to the exam. My son was very inquisitive and asking thousands of questions. She took the time to answer all of them. It was so nice to have an office who understands a child... I'm thankful for Auburn Optical for catching my sons eye issues early on in hopes it will correct his slight lazy eye. He is nearly 20/20 with his glasses on! Love them....they are great! read more

Dr. Martin and staff are so helpful!! I don't mind going in for my eye exam because the staff and doctor are so friendly. They have a wide selection of frames at reasonable prices and when I purchase new glasses they come in, in about a week! I also like the convenient location, hours and that they accept my insurance. You couldn't ask for a better optometrist. The entire staff is amazing. Out of all the years I have been going to different providers Dr. Martin is the only doctor to took the time to listen to my concerns and actually solve my vision issue. I had two different optometrist tell me my glasses were correct, and I knew they were not. It took Dr Martin about a minute to know that they were no where near correct. To Dr. Martin you are just not another patient, but a friend with vision issues asking for help. You will not find a doctor out there that care more in making sure to correct all your vision needs. Auburn Optical is a one of a kind office. The staff was courteous and caring through out my exam and the doctor made my son a balloon animal after his exam. How cool is that? Most of the time i get nerved up and stressed about the doctor but not here, i felt as if i was part of the family. The best part though is that my 5 year old son not only likes going to the eye doctors now, he looks forward to it.
