Dario arrived 15 minutes early and was great with helping load the two car seats, baby, 6 year old and three adults into this three seater SUV. The drive to O'Hare passed many jack knifed trucks, but everyone in Dario's vehicle felt in good, safe hands. The catch however, was those businesses didn't use signed contracts, and they weren't able to immediately share copies of their insurance with me. Pontarelli operates as a professional business (with contracts and insurance!). Their customer service and communication was fantastic leading up to the event, and our driver was punctual, professional and courteous. They had a huge bar area stocked with ice and water, the ceiling had these fancy shiny flashing lights that were changing every few minutes, the back of the bus, the front and the sides they all had these glowing panels and there was a huge TV in the wall, about 55 or 60 inches. Not to mention the sound system. My friend brought a cooler on board. It wasn't her first time on a Party Bus and she knew what to bring/do and how to arrange all the routing. Apparently they are one of the best Party Bus companies in Chicago having all the nicest buses around. If I ever go visit Chicago again I will surely rent from them.

We used this company for our wedding transportation - to and from a picture location, and another…read morevehicle for shuttle service between a hotel and our venue (about 1 mile apart). While the vehicle driven by the owner for our pictures was great, service was perfect, etc., our shuttle service could not have gone worse. The shuttle only operated for about 2.5 of the 4 hours we paid for it to operate. The hours it neglected to service our guests were the hour before our ceremony started and the last pickup of the night after our reception - so the most popular times to need a shuttle (duh). The shuttle was supposed to operate until 6:15, but guests waiting as early as 5:30 were left waiting for a shuttle that never came. When my coordinator called the driver and owner to ask where they were, the calls were not answered and then eventually they told us no shuttle was coming and to tell the 20 people waiting to jump in cabs. Mind you at the point of us calling, our ceremony hadn't started 25 minutes after it should have, as very important guests like my husbands parents were among those waiting. The guests found their way over and all paid for cabs out of pocket, mother of the groom arrived crying to walk her son down the aisle, and everything ran 30-35 minutes behind schedule as a result. Food sat for 30 minutes before we were ready and seated, we had 30 minutes less on the dance floor, 30 minutes less of the other services we booked like the photobooth... you get it, it was a big hiccup. Service at the end of the night was also incomplete - did two one mile trips and went home for the night before our time we paid for, wouldn't answer his phone! Thanks for nothing! For sake of completion I will note that I tried to resolve this with the owner before leaving a bad review, and be reimbursed for what I felt was a fair portion of the $800 we paid for this portion of the services. The owner took no responsibility and told me there were more expensive jobs they could have booked and I should just be happy they showed up at all :) I was refunded a small amount but it was not at all a fair amount given the situation. I'd look elsewhere!

After booking, I received a thorough email with instructions on how to let my driver know that I had arrived. But, just as I got my bag off the baggage claim carousel, I received a phone call from Michael before I had a chance to call, and he let me know he was my driver home. He told me exactly what car to look for, and where to meet him. Within 5 minutes we were on our way! I really appreciated the effort he took to track my flight for a prompt pickup. He opened the door for me (which I still do appreciate!) and loaded my bag in the trunk. The car was clean, didn't smell like cigarette smoke, the ride was nice, and Michael was very friendly. He knew exactly where we were going, and again opened the door for me and unloaded my bag when we reached our destination. He also stayed to make sure I could let myself into the house. The next time I travel, I will definitely book Chicago Airport Limo. It was the best town car experience in the Chicago area I've had to date.

When I walked up to the driver I told him my name and he acted like he didn't know who he was picking up. So to confirm we had the right limo I told him which hotel we were going to and all he relied was, "I don't know, going to Rush street." I had my cell and was able to look up to confirm the hotel was on Rush Street to reassure myself we were in the right limo. The car was hot and had to interrupt the driver who was on his cell phone to find out how to turn up the air. He was on his cell phone the entire trip so we didn't ask him any of the other questions that we had (how to use the stereo, if we could eat or drink etc). By the way, they don't provide any beverages which the the other limo companies include at least water. When he dropped us off he pulled the limo out of the hotel circle drive quickly and screeched the tires loudly. He didn't open door entering the limo or exciting the limo either. Overall it was not a pleasant experience. We got from point A to B but that was about it. I was trying to treat guests and it just actually was embarrassing and I wish I would have just got a taxi. To be fair, I emailed the company before writing this review to let them know about my experience and they didn't even respond to acknowledge my complaints.
