Worst company. Do not hire! They were over an hour and a half late to my wedding for photos. I had to cut my stops from 5 to 2 plus my ceremony and reception got pushed back. I ended up having to pay other vendors more money to get them to stay bc of this company. I am still arguing with Tina over a month and a half later bc they will not give us our money back. She told me the best they can do is a lousy $300 when I paid $900. We asked for a minimum of half bc they took half our time away and they still will not give us our money. My friend and I rented a 30 passenger bus for a joint birthday party a couple weeks ago. The communication with the company in organizing the logistics beforehand was easy. I would've preferred less promotional emails after receiving my quote, but it's okay. My driver was on time and since we had a larger bus, we were required to have a security guard on the bus the entire time. The driver and security were both courteous and you really didn't notice security, as he stayed up front the whole time. I had a few issues, though. The quality of the bus was subpar and parts of the foam ceiling were falling down. The bus was advertised to have, and the service rep I talked to beforehand confirmed, that there would be a (stripper) pole on the bus. There wasn't one--just the dilapidated ceiling. The true buzz kill was the sound system. Imagine going to a house party and suddenly the room goes silent. I connected my phone to the bus' Bluetooth and throughout the entire evening the music skipped as if it was playing from a scratched CD. I asked security if I should connect with my AUX cord instead, but he said no. He and the driver tried to assist, but the failure was ultimately on the company, which is responsible for the quality of its vehicles. I had a mediocre experience and would not recommend this company to others. read more

I got a party bus to celebrate my brokerage license... And my party of 30 absolutely loved it! My friends and I probably rent a bus maybe 2-3 times a year during the colder months. This is my first time using this company and I'm never going back to anything else. And my friends agree! The 30 passenger bus was super clean, comfy seats, funky fun colorful decor, best sound system I've ever heard inside a vehicle, 3 TVs, including a HUGE one in the back. One of my pet peeves is when you're trying to have a non-frat style party and there's just a mess. This bus didn't need additional buckets for alcohol, everything was built in and even though people were drunk they somehow still managed to use the bar on the bus. There were even place holders for you cups! Our driver was Tito (I think). He was so patient with me. Instead of me trying to figure out the Bluetooth with my phone (sad because I'm 26 & didn't know how to use the technology). Tito just took charge and made me feel like I princess. I'm serious. He took care of everything! He set up my phone for the music, set the TVs with music videos, coordinated the AC, listened patiently and ensured everyone was having an epic time. I had mentioned that I need to use the restroom and we were 25 mins away from our next stop and the driver found us a location with great bathrooms and additional alcohol. I felt like I had a cool dad on the bus. I don't know what I was thinking not using this company before. Either we lucked out or just are easy people to please. Paul was our driver and he was fantastic! Not only was he very respectful but he also got us to each and every event on time. Took a party bus to a concert a few weeks back when visiting Chicago. Never been on a bus so nice and entertaining! They had a huge bar area stocked with ice and water, the ceiling had these fancy shiny flashing lights that were changing every few minutes, the back of the bus, the front and the sides they all had these glowing panels and there was a huge TV in the wall, about 55 or 60 inches. Not to mention the sound system. My friend brought a cooler on board. It wasn't her first time on a Party Bus and she knew what to bring/do and how to arrange all the routing. Apparently they are one of the best Party Bus companies in Chicago having all the nicest buses around. If I ever go visit Chicago again I will surely rent from them. read more

I ordered a party bus that fits 30 people for my wedding. The day of a mini bus arrives that only seats 14. I called the number which took numerous attempts and was told that there was a typo on the vehicle type and they blamed me for it. I explained my copy says for 30 people and I paid you for the party bus, but apparently I am supposed to be a car expert and know their type of vehicles and realize it was a minibus they put on accident not a party bus. So it seems like I am really the anomaly here, but I thought I should share my experience with Elite Chicago Limo. I hired them for my wedding in February 2013 to transport the wedding party and guests between the hotel and the reception venue (only 6 blocks). I first contacted via email to work out the details and was told that I could split the 4 hour block (2 hours at beginning, 2 hours at end). When I called to schedule I was informed that this was NOT the case. Then when I explained about the email communication, he took it back and said it was OK. Confusing, but everything got scheduled just fine. You pay 1/2 the price up front, and half the price the day of your event. Driver gratuity of 20% is added to your bill up front. The cost was affordable in comparison to other Chicago companies. The day of the event the limo showed up on time (good) but it was FILTHY. I understand that it was February, but I was pretty disappointed in the appearance. The driver parked in front of some awning at the hotel so we couldn't open the door, then got flustered when we asked him to move the car forward. The inside of the limo was very worn, and the leather seats looked very tired. The "complimentary stocked bar" was a few off brand diet sodas in the cooler. Definitely not what was advertised. We had one extra person who wanted to ride along in the front seat with the driver, but were rudely informed that was not possible because that was "where he kept all his papers". Very odd. The thing that really made this a terrible experience was the driver DEMANDING CASH PAYMENT from my father in the middle of my guests filing into the church just before the ceremony. He made a HUGE SCENE for which I had to come down in my wedding get-up (in front of my guests) and deal with. He was about to walk out of the venue, cash in hand from my unsuspecting father. I made him hand it back. It was clearly defined when I made my reservation that the remaining balance should be charged to my credit card (on file from making a reservation). I have no doubt that the driver would have gotten the cash and then my credit card would have been charged as well. If my mom hadn't stepped in then I wouldn't have been the wiser. The driver did come back for the last 2 hours and shuttled as requested. With 15 minutes left on the reservation I asked him to take myself and my husband home (approximately 5 minutes away). He balked. Complained that it would put him over the time, and tried to argue not to do it. In the end he did take me home, but DAMN do I ever regret scheduling with this company. I sat on whether to make a review for many months, because I don't want to be a whiner. However, I just still feel so upset about the whole thing that I finally decided to share my experience. read more

Just called this company for a quote for a November wedding. They are running a special on their website for $65 an hour for a winter wedding. The guy who answered the phone said it was a mistake on the website and the price would be $75 with a 5 hour minimum. Buyer beware. Granted, I was pretty tipsy by the time we got in the limo that picked us up from "Adult Prom" at Smith & Wollensky. Still, I think I would remember if there were any major issues. The limo was on time, the driver was nice, it was a little bit crowded but we all fit, and I think he had beer in the back. We had him drive us around the city for a couple hours before dropping us off at a club. On the way there, we fiddled with the radio stations and he ended up giving us a CD to listen to. I was unsure of the CD at first, but then that silly "Take a look at my girlfriend" song came on, which was the only thing that jolted me out of the food-induced coma I had been in ever since entering the limo, so... that was cool. read more

I used Elite Limo to shuttle 8 of us to/from a concert...and our experience with Elite Limo was great! The driver's name....Aravais? He was wonderful and arrived early to pick us up. You can tell he knows every street and traffic pattern in the greater Chicagoland area! He got us to our concert in no time. He also told us exactly where he would pick us up, and then called my cell phone to make sure we would meet in the same place. Just great service! The fifth star is awarded to Elite Limo b/c our driver Aravais went above and beyond by taking our picture by the limo....8 girls x 8 cameras = annoying for the driver....but he didn't say a word, and the pictures came out great! I would recommend Elite Limo....really their service is great and the pricing is really affordable too. read more

The only good thing about my experience with Elite is that they were on time and the limo was clean. However, my driver was EXTREMELY rude (name is Paul in case you want to know). We had the unfortunate event of one of the passengers getting motion sickness because he was making extremely fast and sharp turns (going 90 mi/hr on the Kennedy...surprised we didn't get pulled over). We were extremely apologetic and offered to pay for the cleaning fee immediately in cash and to give him an additional tip but he told us to "f*** off" and drove away. When I tried to clear this up with Elite, they kept interrupting me on the phone and were not sympathetic at all when I asked for a receipt of the cleaning fee. Horrible customer service. read more

I called them on a Thursday to reserve a car for Friday evening. They were wonderful, all the other places I called said they couldn't even accommodate 10 of us. We got an escalade limo for our Sep 6, 2015 labor day weekend wedding. It was 97 degrees outside, and we had an outdoor wedding + outdoor pictures. We were really looking forward to the limo as a bastion of A/C and comfort, but it was actually hotter inside the limo than it was outside, due to the A/C being busted. We had one working AC blower, except it only blew hot air. We focused this on my bride so that we could keep her from fainting in the heat of the car. The rest of us sat in our full suits sweating it out. I tried to put the windows down but all of them were broken so they were stuck in the UP position. We tried turning on the radio, but the speakers were mostly blown out so the music sounded warped. The limo service didnt bring enough gas for the event so we had to stop at a gas station half way and stew while the driver filled up the limo. All in all, it was the worst money spent on the wedding and I would never use them again. They actually made my wedding significantly worse as everybody in the bridal party got a dose of heat exhaustion before the reception. One plus: The limo driver was a very nice guy, and did his best with the crappy car he was given. This wasn't his fault. We called and filed a complaint around Wednesday, Sep 9, and the manager there said he'd get back to us about some kind of refund on Friday. He never called, so I called back on Saturday and we got a different guy who told us a manager would get back to us again. We imagine at this point we will receive no refund, and our wedding was significantly worse because of this service. Followup Edit: After calling them twice, and getting shown around the bush, and them saying they'd call us back, we published this review on Saturday the week after the event(Sunday, Sep 6). Today, Monday as I write this, they have promised to send us half of the cost of our limo back to us. I felt this should be included in the review so you get the complete picture. Nice customer service! I was planning my sister's party and wanted to book a limo. Gabriel (Customer service manager) was extremely helpful providing swift information about prices and offers available. It is really nice that their prices include taxes and gratuity. So there would not be any additional payments later. When I asked if they have any offers in case of multiple bookings over time, they were nice to provide those discounts. My sister's party was cancelled unfortunately. But in future if I need limo service, I would go to these guys for sure. read more

Bait and Switch! Ordered a Chrome mini party bus for our wedding 2 weeks ago, and the party bus that we got looked absolutely nothing on the interior like what is advertised on their website! Should have known that we are going to get tricked as they would not send me pictures of the bus saying that it was too new and they didn't have pics yet! (Tried multiple times over almost 2 months to get a picture of the interior) Bus that we got was super basic inside. No fiber opting lighting or illuminated bar. Just 2 strips of white light and the bar was a bucket with ice in it!!! Unacceptable. At least they showed up on time and went through the route, but very upset that we paid over $1 grand for a bus that looked nothing like what was advertised inside! Manager at office very unfriendly / but driver good - won't use again Firstly you should know that there is absolutely no chance of canceling a limo with Elite and they will definitively charge your credit card plus the manager who I spoke with on the phone told me she records all calls and can play them back and also that the owner rarely shows up so you can't speak to him. So if you book with them, don't consider changing your reservation for any reason whatsoever - ever. There are lots of choices for limos in Chicago, I found the manager on the phone to be rude and generally not care if I was the customer or interested in using them in the future. I recommend reading all reviews at the bottom as there are lots of negative ones. I feel sorry for the driver as he had a nice car, showed up on time, and drove us safely but the dispatch and experience dealing with the company was very negative. read more

One of the best decisions that I ever made for my wedding was booking Elite Chicago Limo. My wife and I got married in May 2014, and I was put in charge of figuring out transportation from our church to the picture locations and then to the banquet hall. I actually decided on Elite Chicago Limo as opposed to the other vendors because it was one of the few that had a party limo bus available on our wedding day. Including ourselves, we had seventeen people in our wedding party, so we needed something big to transport us all around the city. Our party limo bus arrived on time at our church - we reserved the "Vintage" party limo bus. One of the first things I noticed was how HUGE it was. I've been in a bunch of weddings before, and most of the time, people elect standard limos for transportation, which generally have little leg room and space for people to be seated comfortably in. Thus, I was very pleased with our limo bus, because not only was it spacious enough for all seventeen of us to be comfortable in, but we had a TON of leg room and space to walk around in. My wife's maid of honor was especially excited about the two dance poles in the bus. ;) Our driver was very friendly, and he took us to multiple locations for pictures before finally driving us to Algonquin, IL for our wedding banquet. I was grateful that the AC was good because it was hot that day. I definitely would recommend this company to anyone, especially those with large wedding parties. **Update** I used elite a 2nd time because the service was amazing. Unfortunately this time I was very disappointed. I booked the same vehicle as I did for the 1st trip and got a party bus instead. The driver did not offer to help with luggage up the stairs onto the bus (that's right our luggage sat at our feet, not in a trunk). Needless to says he did not help us off either. I emailed Elite twice with no response, so now I am warning others of their poor and inconsistent service. I am not sure if the lack of consistent service is due to their staffing, management, etc. but in either case I could not recommend their services anymore as to not disappoint further referrals with unpredictable outcomes. **First Experience Review** I used Elite for limo airport transportation for 3 children going to Disney World for their 1st time; there were 3 adults as well so 6 total passengers and Elite was the best pricing seeing as we needed a 10-passenger following other limo services guidelines with passengers and luggage. The driver was on time and awesome (wish I remembered his name). He wouldn't even let us help him with all of our luggage; he did it all and even took the time to explain the features in the limo (how to work radio, drinks available, etc.) even though it was just a short trip from suburbs to midway. Though we live in Boston, my (now) husband and I eloped in Chicago, as this is where our families are. A group of us flew in from out-of-state, and we needed transportation from the hotel, to the courthouse, to the reception, and back to the hotel. Elite Limo was the only Limo company to offer a MINI-party bus! It was perfect for the group of 9 of us! The driver was on time, very professional, and accommodating to our needs. Today I scheduled a one way limo ride, but received a cancellation after receiving confirmation. If the company was completely sold out on that particular day, the most logical thing to do is inform customers before taking the reservation. read more

I was requesting to be picked up 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled. The pick up time was not adjusted and the driver was 8 minutes late on top of it. We missed the ability to check our bags by 4 minutes, consequently not able to board our flight. I requested a stretch limo and was sent a gaudy, unkempt party bus. The driver was rude. Elite did not answer phone calls, respond to voice messages left nor reply to my email. Kevin Miller took the reservation, was my point of contact, had knowledge of my attempts to change pick up time via texts, did not follow through and refused to assume any responsibility. From time of reservation to day of the event, Elite Chicago Limo was amazing to work with! It was my first time renting a vehicle for an event like this so I was weary but they didn't let us down. I was always able to reach someone when I called and they were patient and informative when I had questions. Driver arrived on time and the condition of the vehicle was great. Driver (Derek) was extremely courteous and helped us load some of our gear on the bus. I hired Elite for a Bachelorette party in Sept. 2014. At the end of the night, the limo showed up 30 minutes late. Driver was supposed to arrive at 1:30 a.m. and didn't show up until 2:00 a.m. 30 minutes is a long time at that hour when you are responsible for a large group of people. In most cases I wouldn't be this harsh but when your job is simply to be on time, pick us up, and drop us off, it's an issue. read more

I use a limo service every time I go to the airport, which is a lot.
