This is nice little French Cafe just getting under way. I had a ham and cheese croissant and a Cafe au lait for breakfast. The cafe au lait was quite good. It was smooth and rich and came nicely presented in a wide cup. The ham and cheese croissant was tasty. It came with a decent amount of ham, however I did not like the way they chopped it up. Also, they need to make sure they clean the griddle between cooking sessions, because the ham picked up some that black burnt food from the griddle. The croissant was soft and butter with a touch of flakiness. The meal came with a small side salad with greens, tomatoes, and vinaigrette. A touch of freshly ground black pepper would have been nice. The service was good. They also make crepes here.

Such a darling addition to 3rd Avenue! Suzette is super cute, inside and out. I absolutely love all the hand-painted floral light fixtures. The staff was friendly and service was great. I had the bacon and egg crêpe (it also has cheese) and my husband had the ham and cheese crêpe. Both were delicious. We really liked the zippy vinaigrette on the salad. They also make good coffee. They're going to be adding buckwheat crêpes to the menu and I can't wait to try them.

Suzette really surprised me. I took my mom here for Mother's Day and we fell in love with the food. Their commitment to healthy, locally-sourced ingredients shines through in the freshness of the food. The namesake Suzette dish was the highlight of our table. Beyond the kitchen, the service is top-notch; our servers were incredibly attentive and genuinely caring. A perfect 10/10 experience! The ambiance is so inviting and thoughtfully designed, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxed meal.

New spot on 3rd ave Chula Vista so decided to step in and see what they recommended. Was greeted by Adrian (I believe that was his name) and he had great suggestions I went with the classic latte and salmon crêpe. The latte was yummy and the salmon crêpe was very savory! The ambiance was cute very picturesque and would've stayed to eat there but wasn't planning on it since I was just going for my morning walk/jog. But so glad I stopped by it was delish! I know they're just starting up but they note have their menu (pictured) so I'm excited to come back and try something else!

We wanted to try a new restaurant and we sure hit the food and experience lottery with Suzette! A fabulous gem of a restaurant, the food was an absolute 10, fresh and delicious, attentive, friendly and top notch service and ambiance so enjoyable. We had the Quiche Lorraine and Salmon Crepes. Both were exceptional! We will be back and highly recommend this wonderful bistro.

The latte was amazing and my omelette was also amazing, I really loved the type of bacon they use for the omelette. The staff is very friendly and they will answer any of your questions. Another thing I enjoyed was the music they were playing during my breakfasts. My wife had the chocolate croissant and she really liked it. We spoke with the owner and were informed this is a very soft opening. At the end of February they will be serving full breakfast options and dinner. We are excited to go back and try their breakfast and dinner.

Suzette Cuisine Française*** is the correct and full name. Hola & Bonjour! Chula Vista you are in for a lot of French specialties. Crêpes Suzette, fresh croissants, Cappuccinos, café Americanos all made from the best Italiano beans by Illy! "illycaffè S.p.A." This cool new spot is enjoying a soft opening now but will soon be offering more pastries and breakfast items such as Croque Madam and Croque Monsieur. Come in for a beer or a glass of wine, sit outside or in to dine. You cannot miss this brightly colored, eye-popping pop art spot that is sure to become a favorite for the community of Chula Vista!... did I mention chocolates?! Oui!

Tiny portions. Dry and flavorless. I hope things get better.

Clean. Friendly. Fun atmosphere. The owner or person who took our order was very welcoming, polite and we ordered his suggestion. Espresso wasn't impressive. Food was disappointing. $40 Avocado toast - No toppings. 1/2 an avocado on dry toast. photo Ham and cheese crepe - Dry. White cheese and thin crispy ham. Good saltiness. Tried eating it with the salad tossed in vinegar. Didn't help. Its a drier version of the ham and cheese croissant from Starbucks. photo Cappuccino.

French perfection. Loved this place! Amazing food! Great experience. Beautiful setting. The owner and staff are so kind, too. Two big thumbs up!

Salmon crepe, drip coffee, quiche Lorraine & latte. Not featured was a delicious pain au chocolat ‍

The food was great and service was excellent. A lovely authentic French spot with delicious dishes and a welcoming atmosphere. definitely worth a visit! Definitely my new fave place in CV.

Had such a lovely lunch with friends today at this small French creperie in Chula Vista, just wanted to jump on here and write a quick review about it. It is darling, would be a sweet date spot. (And close to the Farmer's Market, so we had a nice walk around afterwards.) It's very reasonably priced and the service is good and quick. There was some pretty French music playing inside which I really liked. The owner, Jerome, talked with us for a bit. He is a fascinating guy from Paris. The quiches were delicious and the crusts on the bottom were better than I've ever had in a quiche. I had the salmon crepe, with leeks and a light creme and lox. Omigosh!!!!!!!!!!!! So, so good. Everything was light but satisfying. Also, we got the crepe suzette and shared it as a dessert. Sweet, but not too heavy. Such a great sauce. Photos attached (if I can figure out how.) Highly recommend this place. Bon appetit!!!!!

The moment you walk through the door, the smell of fresh baked pan hits you and it is everything. The selection of pan dulce and bolillos had me feeling like I was back in Mexico City. So many options, beautifully displayed. That part alone almost made the trip worth it. But the customer service... yeah, I'm not the only one who noticed. I asked the lady at the register in Spanish if there was any chocolate pan de muerto and she completely ignored me. Like, didn't even look up. Just called someone from the back in Spanish, which, mija, I understood every word. The girl who came to help me was a little better but not much. She told me the chocolate pan de muerto was sold out, which fine, I get it, it was a holiday. But that's literally all you had to say. No smile, no "sorry we're out," nothing. Just took my money and that was that. The panadería itself deserves five stars. The staff needs some work. I'll probably go back for the pan because it really is that good, but I'm keeping my expectations low on the service side.

They sell their señorita bread in multiples of 5, and the price scales proportionally. They also have some packaged breads at the checkout counter and a display case with donuts and malasadas. I got 5 señorita breads for $4, and a guava malasada. When I was handed my bag of goods, the señorita breads were still warm! I've never had this type of bread before so I have no comparison. However, the fat, cigar-shaped breads were really satisfying while hot and fresh. They are buttery, sugary, and chewy inside. The texture was a bit homogenous for me, but still quite tasty. I had a second one hours later and it was not as nice. I think they would definitely benefit from a reheat if you have leftovers. The guava malasada was not my favorite. The jam inside was more musty than fragrant, and very artificially red. The dough itself was well-fried and soft, even fresh out of the refrigerator on the second day. I love the textural difference of the sugar crystals on the surface, compared to a traditional donut glaze. I ended up scooping the guava filling out of the middle and eating the fried bread. Overall, while I enjoyed the señorita breads, Chula Vista is a bit of a trek and I would not go out of my way to get them. I am interested in trying Starbread in the Bay, to see if they taste different.
