First time visiting Suzette in Chula Vista..... Everything we had was AMAZING!! Super attentive staff & very helpful with suggestions. Great music & vibes. It all made our experience very memorable. What we ordered: * Croque Madame w/ French Truffle Fries & Mimolette * Quiche Lorraine * Berrie and Chantilly Crepe Everything was full of flavor. My favorite was the quiche. It was soooo silky smooth. We can't wait to visit again.... Lots of great menu options. This is a must try location!! #Diningwiththeandersons #TryingNewPlaces #FrenchBistro #BreakfastDate #Suzette

It's located in Chula Vista on 3rd Ave and street parking is limited in front, however there is parking in the back. It's small inside but there is seating outside also with a big screen Television to watch sports. It is a very cute place that reminded me a quaint French restaurant we visited in Paris for baked goods. We were seated at a table inside and given menus to look over. We ordered chocolate croissants and cappuccino / coffee before we ordered breakfast. The croissants were warm and gooey when they came and the cappuccino took me back to Paris. The crepe with bacon and egg was filled with cheese, the egg was mixed with butter and cream to make it a fluffy and yummy. The crepe was the base to the enjoyment of this dish. The three combined together are the perfect bite! This place will not disappoint .

We found this gem on IG. The service was great and very helpful explaining things and making sure we had a wonderful experience. The food didn't disappoint and the plates are very shareable. The total vibe is like a full French bistro. I recommend the crepes definitely can't wait to come back to try the Crepe Suzette which wasn't available.

Top Half Menu: prices for coffee and croissants are same as that chain (SB) but these are made on site.

What a great little place on Third in Chula Vista. We had the Croque Madam which had a creamy béchamel sauce, tasty cheese but not overpowering, thin sliced tender ham, and the sunny side egg. Delicious! The "side" salad that accompanied it was the star: fresh crispy lettuce, juicy sweet berries, fresh tomatoes, and a light dressing. It was a perfect pairing with the rich entree. The iced vanilla latte was smooth (they use Illy coffee products) and delicious The restaurant is decorated so happily: Chagall art work throughout, chandeliers with braided metal flowers, striped pillars, orange floor. So pretty and enjoyable. We were told they'll be adding dinner service (now breakfast and lunch), they source their produce locally, and bake on site.

Came here on Mother's Day morning as soon as it opened. There were only 2 other tables with customers seated inside and 1 table with customers seated outside. Although there appeared to be 3 staff working the cafe, only 1 appeared to be taking orders. We ordered a the berrie and chantilly crepe to share as they did. It have the ingredients for the crepe Suzette. We also ordered a croque monsieur to share also. The food was EXCELLENT however the service was extremely slow...it took a very long time just to get water at the table and even longer for the coffee and food. Pricing is on the higher end of the table.

Absolutely superb! We had an incredible experience here. The food was absolutely delicious--the Quiche Lorraine, the Prosciutto and cheese crepe, and the chocolate croissant were all outstanding, perfectly complemented by the mimosas. Beyond the amazing food, what really stood out was the owner's exceptional attention to service and genuine friendliness. It truly made our visit memorable. We are so lucky to have this gem in Chula Vista. Highly recommended! Un petit mot en français: C'était un repas absolument magnifique ! Merci pour l'accueil si chaleureux et la cuisine délicieuse. Nous reviendrons très bientôt !

Absolutely incredible Sunday breakfast. Highly recommend both the Salmon Crepe with a farm fresh egg and the Croque Madame was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed an in-house baked Croissant Cinnamon roll that was a touch sweet with just the right amount of cinnamon rolled inside. Service is outstanding, ambience with the hand painted light fixtures and overall vibe is like a Paris cafe', highly recommend sitting outside to truly feel like Paris. Suzette's is a definite must, you won't be disappointed. Bon Appetite! #Jeromestillgotit

Most delicious meal I've had in years! The quiche was so fluffy and everything was so fresh. The service was great too.

This is nice little French Cafe just getting under way. I had a ham and cheese croissant and a Cafe au lait for breakfast. The cafe au lait was quite good. It was smooth and rich and came nicely presented in a wide cup. The ham and cheese croissant was tasty. It came with a decent amount of ham, however I did not like the way they chopped it up. Also, they need to make sure they clean the griddle between cooking sessions, because the ham picked up some that black burnt food from the griddle. The croissant was soft and butter with a touch of flakiness. The meal came with a small side salad with greens, tomatoes, and vinaigrette. A touch of freshly ground black pepper would have been nice. The service was good. They also make crepes here.

Such a darling addition to 3rd Avenue! Suzette is super cute, inside and out. I absolutely love all the hand-painted floral light fixtures. The staff was friendly and service was great. I had the bacon and egg crêpe (it also has cheese) and my husband had the ham and cheese crêpe. Both were delicious. We really liked the zippy vinaigrette on the salad. They also make good coffee. They're going to be adding buckwheat crêpes to the menu and I can't wait to try them.

Suzette on Third Avenue in Chula Vista is a gem. I've been three times and every visit has been fantastic--it feels like a cozy little French bistro right on the avenue. The cappuccino is one of the best I've had anywhere. The croissants are delicious, and the crêpe Suzette is amazing. Everything is thoughtfully crafted and the quality shows. Relaxed, welcoming vibe with nice outdoor seating - charming neighborhood spot. I'll definitely be back. thanks Jerome

Located in the heart of Chula Vista,…read moreit is a family-owned bakery that specializes in traditional pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread), and custom cakes! Known for their fresh, daily-baked pastries, it features a self-service (tray-and-tongs) experience in a clean, welcoming environment! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Always making great recommendations for their customers! Parking can be a bit tricky with very few spaces available. Pricing is somewhat higher than it used to be, but then again so is everything else (like gas, lol). They have a great selection of conchas, polvorones, fresh bolillos, empanadas (chicken, beef, jalapeño cream cheese), and custom cakes! Typically, I get the empanadas de piña 10/10! They're so freaking delicious! They feature a golden, buttery, and flaky crust that shatters perfectly when bitten. Inside, they're filled with a rich, jammy pineapple filling that balances bright, tropical sweetness with a sharp, fruity tartness! Highly recommended!

The moment you walk through the door, the smell of fresh baked pan hits you and it is everything. The selection of pan dulce and bolillos had me feeling like I was back in Mexico City. So many options, beautifully displayed. That part alone almost made the trip worth it. But the customer service... yeah, I'm not the only one who noticed. I asked the lady at the register in Spanish if there was any chocolate pan de muerto and she completely ignored me. Like, didn't even look up. Just called someone from the back in Spanish, which, mija, I understood every word. The girl who came to help me was a little better but not much. She told me the chocolate pan de muerto was sold out, which fine, I get it, it was a holiday. But that's literally all you had to say. No smile, no "sorry we're out," nothing. Just took my money and that was that. The panadería itself deserves five stars. The staff needs some work. I'll probably go back for the pan because it really is that good, but I'm keeping my expectations low on the service side.

The fruit sandos are good if that's your thing. I always find them to be too rich with all the cream and this place was no exception. I've tried all the savory sandos on the menu though, and they're solid. You really can't go wrong. The bobas are pretty good but don't compete with the elite boba shops like 3cat or momofuku. The corn hojicha is what I liked the most out of everything I've tried. Finally, service is average to above average.
