The owner was just closing up after the lunch business, but was kind enough to stay open to accommodate our little group. We had two pizzas: a large works and a plain cheese. Our pain cheese eaters said it was the best plain cheese pizza they had ever had. Us Barn veterans had the works and it was every bit as good as we remembered from so many years ago. They just don't do pizza like this in other parts of the country. Especially for the price. Well worth the 250 mile drive LOL!

The size of the pieces were as they should be. It is Under New Management now they have free delivery in town, later hours, and starting soon if not already they will be delivering beer on Friday and Saturday night. Who would have thunk someone would be delivering beer in Cardington. Haha He also stated that they make fresh pizza dough with a new recipe everyday and changed their sauce. We have not tried their pizza yet but will be trying it next time. Would recommend their chicken and logs to everyone. Would be or will be a 5-star rating if their Pizza is as good as the chicken.

The wait staff was fine, nothing over the top but polite and attentive enough. The big issue of the night was the pizza. It took about 45 minutes to come out, which was surprising given the restaurant wasn't very busy. Unfortunately, when it finally arrived, the center was undercooked and raw--a real disappointment. Management was very understanding and offered to make another, but with the time already invested we couldn't wait around for a second attempt. On the positive side, the appetizers were really good, and the wings were spot-on--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. That alone makes me want to give them another chance. Overall, not the best first impression, but I'll chalk it up to an off night. I'll be back to try again, hoping the pizza comes out as good as the rest of the menu.

The pizza is totally flavorless, tasting like plain, cheap bread with the lowest-quality ingredients. To make it worse, I paid extra for sauce and didn't even get it. The Stromboli and Bosco sticks sucked, too--completely dry and bland. I love pizza, but I couldn't even finish this. A total $70 waste of money. Never again.

The Colossal Italian had very fresh and delicious sausage on it, especially the spicy sausage! The Primo Pepperoni had old world pepperoni and lots of cheese! The crust is not crust you will toss aside either! The staff was very helpful and courteous in explaining the toppings to me and accommodating not putting spicy sausage on the entire pizza because my wife can't eat spicy food. The restaurant had a cool ambience and feel to it. Overall, this is a must stop for any pizza lover and if you live distance away....its worth the drive! Don't miss this pizza gem in Amish country! She talked with us like we were her friends too and also took a lot of pictures for us as well. The food was good too. For a small salad they gave me a massive salad.
