Philomena's never fails. 4th time customer and second time reviewer! Saw a line out the door and thought about skipping down the road. Decided to roll the dice and was more than impressed with the wait time and the staff. Got through the line and got my food in about 15 minutes even with the huge line. Special shoutout to Bryce and Sheila they were so nice to me inside the store, glad to see some good leadership in there as well, every time I've been in, one of the two owners is in there working beside their people. Beach bread slaps, yo! I really enjoyed the upgraded seating on the outside of the building, kept my wife and I nice and cool while we enjoyed our sub sandwiches and beach bread! They close at 8 on Thursday...tried to place an order at 6:50 pm. If my math is correct and it is, that's an 1:10 minutes left. Said they had taken their last order and wouldn't take mine. Sad. We came here for the first time last night. We just moved to the area a year ago, we have stopped a few times for drinks or snacks but never for food. We got pizza, burgers, and mozz sticks. This was amazing, my 5-year-old said it was the best burger ever and wanted to go there every night for dinner, my 3-year old ate 3 plates of pizza(she's tiny and doesn't usually eat a lot). The owner was great and super friendly! Highly recommend this place for your everyday needs and dinner/lunch! read more

It's a Saturday afternoon at Candlewood Lake and we are ready for lunch around 2:30. I call to place our regular order and the guy who answered the phone says "we are not taking any more orders until after 4". What?? No explanation or apologies. Won't give them any of my business going forward. Telling all my friends to order from town and have it delivered. Very poor service. read more

Oh my goodness, Philomena's Pizzeria is the best pizza place to take your children! I took my two youngest kids here and they immediately fell in love. Their bathrooms, ohhh man they are so clean!! Their submarine sandwiches are very good and just feels like a pizza place with good food. At least the food I ordered was good.

For now this is just for the pizza. Got a 14-inch pizza with 3 toppings and it was very good. The pizza stood up well traveling. Crust stayed crispy. Let's support this place. The area needs it and the new owner has worked hard to clean this place up and turn it around. Clean place and pleasant people. read more
