This place was great a few years ago but after today's visit, we will not be back…read more This afternoon our family of four were caught in a bad storm and ran into the restaurant. It was 4:10'pm and they opened up at 4pm. We walked in and were not greeted by staff who were behind the counter and in the back kitchen. Not one person greeted us. Is it that difficult to say, "Hello, welcome in. May we help you? " We approached the counter to order and an older blond lady looks at us and says, "We won't be able to get your food to you til after 6pm because we have a 22 pizza order. I said, "Could we just get one pizza and you could make it before the 22 pizza order since we came in. (There was no one else in the restaurant) . She said, "No, we have to do this order first." I was shocked, "There was no apology, no "I'm sorry." While my family and one child who has medical/special needs stood there soak in wet from the storm, this employee had no empathy at all. Just plain and simple...RUDE. Too many other establishments to spend your hard earned money on people who just don't have etiquette or manners. First off, why would you even open your restaurants doors if you aren't taking orders? We wanted to have a nice place to sit down and have ONE PIZZA. Just one pizza! Shame on you. Do better or lock your doors and just take phone orders. Luckily good ol' Dominos was open two doors down and our family had the three nicest gentleman greet us, take our order, and had our food out in less than 10 minutes.

I would say an average is about 10 min. It's also consistently good- meaning the dough is cooked properly and the pizza isn't overcooked. The brownies are good. I'd recommend asking for a light bake on them. Getting maybe 4 or 5 toppings makes for a good pizza! Thanks to the manager for doing a good job, as well as caring about Apple Valley. The wait staff was fine, nothing over the top but polite and attentive enough. The big issue of the night was the pizza. It took about 45 minutes to come out, which was surprising given the restaurant wasn't very busy. Unfortunately, when it finally arrived, the center was undercooked and raw--a real disappointment. Management was very understanding and offered to make another, but with the time already invested we couldn't wait around for a second attempt. On the positive side, the appetizers were really good, and the wings were spot-on--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. That alone makes me want to give them another chance. Overall, not the best first impression, but I'll chalk it up to an off night. I'll be back to try again, hoping the pizza comes out as good as the rest of the menu.

I walked in the door and was greeted by so many smiles it felt like I was floating on a cloud in heaven I watched has they hand tossed my dough, MY dough, and couldn't stop thinking about how much they enjoyed playing with my dough until it was soft and fluffy and ready for the toppings. I could not have been more excited when they put their ZESTY sauce on my dough and spread it around for a bit... they then covered my beautifully made dough in cheese and how much it made me realize how much it felt like home in Kelly's pizza. They then put my pizza in a oven and the oven could not been hotter. When they took it out of the oven all melted together and cooked to perfection I said "well done". My pizza was $11.75 said the strong man behind the counter although I left $20 dollars and left that beautiful door one last time. I'll never forget the experiences I've had at Kelly's pizza.
