Tubby's Pizza in Galion is my go to place for pizza. I've heard mix reviews from the local community. I personally been satisfied with their food items. My personal favorite is their pizza. I love their thin crust and flavorful sauce. I've tried all their items except their chocolate chip cookie pizza. Their subs they fill generously with meat and cheese. They put the right amount of condiments on their subs. Their wings are good size with many choices of sauce to choose from. Their salad is a very good size that can be shared. Their garlic cheesy bread is tasty and flavorful. The perk of the Galion location is after 9pm you can have any of the daily specials. I highly recommend Galion Tubby's pizza. read more

I am raring this 1 star because I haven't been able to get service for at least 4 months if not longet now. Every time I try to order Tubbys in Galion around 9:30pm, they are NEVER opened even though everywhere I look they say they are open until 11pm (or 12am). I just don't understand what is going on with them. They only open at 4pm, so they seem to be open for about 5 hours a day...if that. How are they still in business at this point? read more

First time I stopped and will be the last time I stop. I will say when I got my food the smell was great I was excited to dig into it. When I got home and started to eat the first bite of my foldover it was100% let down. The best way I can put it is simple. I have two dogs and I left my plate with the dripping from the foldover on my coffee table and my dogs never touched the plate to clean it off. ordered food for my family and the delivery driver decided he was going to try and steal a tackle box from my garage that has about 200 dollars worth of tackle in it I addressed it with the driver and he then cussed me my father and my mother out and threatened to fight us After that he left then probably about 5 minutes later tubbys called and he was on the line cussing us out and the manger was in the background cussing us out VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I wouldn't recommend ordering ANYTHING from this place! read more

Moved here about 2-1/2 years ago and stopped here at tubbies for the first time recently because we always went to other places but they were closed and was late . We orderd ahead Nd food was not ready and had a real long wait and was sloppy and very cheap and not much on my meatball sandwich and the Italian sun . The pizza was so greasy and was the worst food ever and was so hungry and ate anyways and during the night got sick as hell and diarrhea water and came from the food . Never ever again . read more

First... my pizza had slid to the order side, most likely due to just tossing it on the seat when taking it for delivery, because I'm sure that when they boxed it, it was placed in the box correctly and it didn't slide! ordered a thin crust done well and it was soggy in the middle, way too much grease and cheese! would I order from there again? not!! read more

Tubby's Pizza - Greasy soggy pizza! - Italian Near Me - Galion, Ohio

If I could leave less than a star I would. I ordered from there tonight a delivery for a Meat sub and an Italian sub. When it arrived I realized I was given a MEATBALL sub and an Italian sub instead of a Meat sub. So I called the restaurant and the employee apologized and said that it was his fault that he rang in the wrong sub and that he had to speak to his manager and he would be back with me. He comes back to the phone and say that the manager says I was in the wrong that I obviously ordered the wrong thing and the employee was in the right. So obviously shocked and angered by this response I asked to speak to the manager. The manager was very rude and claimed the same thing. According to him I ordered the wrong food instead of what I wanted and they wouldn't refund or do anything about it. I have worked in restaurants for years and customer service and never have experienced something so rude and outrageous in my life. I will NEVER order another thing from a place that treats the regular customers like this. I used to order from there often without a single complaint until now. What a jok read more

The garlic bread is fantastic!! Tubby's pizza has been a go to for my husband and I for a bit now. My mom and aunt came to visit from California and wanted to try "the Ohio experience in pizza form" we got tubby's and they were happy with it. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would...Their customer service is atrocious..I ordered a pizza with pepperoni and black olives..the black olives were sour and smelled ruint..the manager argued with me that they were fine. They may seem rude on the phone but they were busy and it once I showed kindness such as please and thank you their tone changed.. the pizza was hot even though it took over an hour.. this is a busy time. Rude Employees. I was told a 45 minute wait time. An hour and 25 minutes later, I called and was told it "should be" on the next run. I asked when that would be, they said at least 20 to 30 minutes making it two hours. . I asked to speak to a manager. The guy that answered the phone said he was and I could speak to the other manager, but that was his sister and that their parents were the owners, and it was a private business. It was not giving out their name or phone number, & didn't want my phone number because "they wouldn't call me back anyways". I asked if they could do anything to make a two hour wait right and he said no not on delivery times. I then proceeded to call the Marysville store which I was told on occasion they do have longer w times, but they try to make it right with the customer. Asked for my phone number and said they would have one of the co-owners call me back which never happened so the son of the owner at the Galion location was right there was nothing they would do for me and his parents did not care and would not call me back. read more

This is the only pizza place that hasn't downsized their pizzas. At all of the others, the "medium" that I used to get is drastically smaller than it used to be but Tubby's doesn't cheat you this way. When they make a pizza, they don't scimp on the toppings, you'll get plenty of everything and I have never gotten a wrong order or someone else's pizza. It always tastes great and you know that you will get the same great pizza every time. I would love it if Tubby's would offer a "regular" crust along with the thin. I would also love it if they opened earlier, especially on weekends. All in all, definitely the best value in town and always great tasting pizza! read more

This is my absolute favorite pizza place ever. I am living over an hour away and I come back to Galion just to get this pizza. The thin crust is absolutely perfect: crunchy, but not rock hard. There is a broad range of toppings and specialty pizzas to enjoy. But, really... The sauce is what sets this pizza apart from all the rest. I don't have words to describe it... You have to try it for yourself! The owners and employees are great and if you are a regular, they will greet you by name. My absolute favorite pizza joint here in town ever since I was a kid. My family has always had one member living close to this place and they've known our family by name for years. On nights we get together to watch Survivor this is our go to dinner. It's big enough to split 2 largws between a family of 8-11 people and still have leftovers. The crust is thin but not hard, the cheese is - what I can only describe as - real, and the sauce is unlike any other. If you haven't already tried this pizza, then I highly recommend it. The only thing I would change about this place is that they open at 4pm. To me that is so late and I'd love for them to open earlier in the day or at least a few so I could enjoy it in the afternoon before work.
