I immediately brought this to the attention of Matt, the manager, but to my surprise, he said nothing to the security guard and took no action whatsoever. We were left feeling unsafe and disrespected in what should have been a simple and enjoyable night out. This situation was completely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. I would strongly advise others to steer clear of Township. There are far better places in town that prioritize the safety and dignity of their guests.

What should've been a normal night out turned into a disturbing situation. My friend's wife and daughter were in the bathroom after ordering drinks just before closing. The security guard aggressively demanded that we leave immediately, despite us explaining we were simply waiting for them to come out. Even after tipping generously and being calm and respectful, the security guard continued to escalate. I was with them and asked for just a moment, but instead of showing understanding, he physically pushed them out. As soon as their family came out of the bathroom, they were met with aggression instead of basic decency. My friend's father asked Matt, the manager, to step in and de-escalate--but Matt did nothing. He said he couldn't do anything because the security guard "runs the show." That's unacceptable, and frankly, dangerous. This is not how any bar--especially one in a college town--should treat respectful guests or FSU families. I won't be going back, and I urge others to avoid Township before someone truly gets hurt. It's not worth the risk.

Now... about breakfast. It's a No for me. Enough. I had the Nashville Honey Chicken Biscuits and they are a FAIL, a No. Dry, sad, biscuits with fried frozen chicken nugget in it and not worth $16. Food was absolutely delicious. Hubby and I ordered a few appetizers as well as the chefs tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The appetizers we chose were the charred octopus and the fire roasted oysters. Both were wonderful but the octopus was a standout. For the tasting menu, it changes daily and is 4 courses with a dessert course to round out the meal. Ours happened to include: Sausage w olive tapenade, Filet w tomato and veggie chow chow (so tasty), Duck tostada w avocado crema, Elk filet w hasselback potatoes and asparagus (show stopper), and Orange rice pudding w pistachio cookie crumble which was such a nice, light way to end the meal.
