You can purchase tickets online. While you wait in their cozy lounge area, go up to the bar and try one of their signature (or classic) cocktails. The cocktails at the bar are tasty and fun. The gin is their best seller, and it was honestly my favorite. I would also recommend their old fashion The tour was very interesting. You start in a large drinking hall where everyone has covered tasting samples. Each sample has information provided, and there is plenty of water to keep you hydrated and to cleanse the palate. The tour guide walks you through the tastings, and provides some history and other information. When we went we tasted their vodka, 1800s Bourbon, honey whiskey, their gin, and another whiskey. After the tasting you walk through the distillery and get a tour of where the magic happens (stills, filtration, labs, storage, etc). The operation is truly incredible, and the tour offers a variety of great picture-taking moments with beautiful pieces of equipment, walls lined with wooden barrels, and neon novelty signs Some tips: They frequently do events, and you can see their schedule online. They had a Father's Day promo code when we went that got Dad's in for free. They also had a cigar vendor and lounge that gave away cigars to dads. It was pouring rain when we arrived, the walk from the parking lot to the front door isn't covered, so, plan accordingly. When we finally arrived, what could've been a ruined evening turned into one of the most memorable nights we've had. Every single person we encountered at Blackland was incredibly kind and welcoming. Marshall greeted us with warmth, and Jeremy? He's not just a bartender--he's a cocktail artist. The drinks he crafted for us were next-level, easily some of the best we've ever had. He truly understands spirits and how to elevate them. We were genuinely torn when it was time to leave for our dinner reservation at Wicked Butcher--honestly, we could've stayed sipping Jeremy's creations all night. We arrived shorty before our scheduled time, and the distillery was just opening. Don (co-owner) welcomed me and told us to come on in. The space is very welcoming, and we immediately felt comfortable. We were fortunate enough that Don took care of us. He told us about the beginnings of the distillery, how he and his partner got started, and how they have continued to evolve. Their attention to details are unmatched. Their gin, bourbon, and vodka were all top-notch, and we were very impressed by the personalized tour. Don's passion and knowledge made the experience truly memorable. We learned so much about artisan products, and the efforts that go into making them. I strongly recommend this experience to others. Their spirits taste really good. We could've stayed longer, as comfortable as Don made us feel. We were able to sample most of their products and we had two amazing cocktails each. We purchased the Artisanal Gin, the Barrel Finished Gin, and the Blended Bourbon. My wife surprised me with a bottle of the Blended Bourbon, and Don presented it in a very nice gift bag. He actually dedicated the bottles to us and signed them. We're looking forward to bringing our friends for another visit soon.
