Went for the sampling tour of their wide variety of spirits, it was fantastic!! The bartenders before the tour were outstanding and insightful and the sampling was informative and delicious!!
A small but very good distillery located in the downtown Fort Worth area. They have an interesting array of spirits including a smoked single malt whiskey and a London dry gin. We tried a flight. Loved the single malt whiskey and purchased a bottle. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere is also great for a craft cocktail and some socializing m.
I am at an oil n gas trade show at the FW Convention Center and staying at the Hampton Inn directly behind it. I've been doing this dance for yrs. But today I noticed a sign that said "acre distillery and coffee". Distillary? I must go. So I went. Menu had Old Fashions during happy hour for $7.00. That's a deal. So I had one. Just one. The old fashion was great. Sampled some of their other creations and good taste. The conversation with the bartenders was great, but a slow time of day allowed that. This has to be a hidden gem in FW. So, if in FW, you gotta give them a try. You can even smoke a stick on the back patio. Later.
We stopped by Acre for a tour while in Ft Worth and really enjoyed it. We grabbed cocktails from the bar before our tour started and they were delish! The tour was different than what I've experienced before, as we were seated the whole time - it was more like a tasting than a tour. It included 7 different spirits, you had a choice between two each round. My husband got one and I got the other, so we were able to try all 14! I was very impressed by the variety and quality of the spirits. I also enjoyed learning about the area and the spirits, themselves. We ended up leaving with a bottle of Orangecello and some whiskey. Definitely worth a stop!
I have been here twice now. The first time my husband and I kind of stumbled across it in the winter it was a very quiet day and we tried a whiskey flight. We just recently went in on a Sunday it was pretty busy. They had a tasting session happening in the central room and we sat up top by the bar/ I love how the glass leta you see the brewery parts, and they had an extensive menu with cocktails and testers of their different spirits. My husband got the old acre old fashioned he said it was just standard for that drink. I got the miss ettas lemonade it was delicious very tangy and citrusy but I like it. It has a cool vibe, a nice place to come hang out for a couple of drinks.
This was our second time visiting and it's a nice little spot to go for a pre drink or a quick late drink. The youts looks very fun and I'll be back to do that. The staff and drinks are always nice.
We held our monthly book club at Acre Distilling...and it is rockin'! This month our gathering was at Acre Distilling where we had some whisky, appetizers, pizza, and great discussions about our monthly novel "The Silent Patient". Acre D has great service, drinks, and food. The environment is clean and inviting, somewhat rustic. The environment is comfortable. They have different tours of their distillery. Covered parking is available...and certain spots are for EV only. They sell their bottled spirits, but never on Sundays.
Acre's hosted our son and his fiancé's rehearsal dinner and welcome party. The ease of handling all the details with Mandy and Josie made me feel very secure prior to the event that it was going to be a great night. And boy, was it a great night! They helped us with our power point my daughter made and put it on all their TVs and she also made a great play list they were able to Bluetooth to those big JBL speaker for the evening. We catered on BBQ From Hurtados and they set up two tables with tablecloths for them. They had an easel for my welcome sign so that was one less thing I had to worry about bringing. The rest of the staff that night were also so friendly and courteous to all the guests. They helped clean up as people left their food plates and drink cups on the tables so the place looked clean all night. If you are still reading this - let's get to the drinks- I had the Miss Etta's Lemonade made with their Peach Tea Vodka and an espresso martini - ended the night with their Pinot Noir they serve. Husband and friends had the whisky flights and enjoyed them. We will be back to try more drinks out next time on Fort Worth. Acre Distilling Co. was an excellent place to host an event. You should check them out if you need a space or just want to try some great whisky and vodka.
Any time I'm near the SW side of downtown Fort Worth in the evening Acre is an option. This is one of my favorite distilleries along with Blackland on the opposite side of downtown. Acre has excellent whiskeys and several other options. My latest visit they had very limited whiskeys to choose from, but their single malt is always a good option. That on the rocks was good sipping, excellent flavor, smooth but with great flavor elements. They offer bottles for purchase. The single malt was $45 for a bottle, but it stands up to much higher priced scotch whiskys. Give Acre a try.
Liquor tasting at its finest. A great group activity. Make sure that you purchase your favorites to take home after the tasting because it's not sold in the local stores. My favorites were Ms Addys Vodka, the Orangeciello & the Lemonciello. Not only is this a place for tastings, you can also order cocktails & bar bites.
Acre is wonderfully location place for a drink while visiting with friends or before an event. Conveniently located near the central station if you want to take public transport, and they have a small lot for customers. Its super close to the convention center and close enough to Bass Hall warrant a visit for a before show drink. Again being a fan of using public transport to avoid possible traffic or parking fees, taking the TRE or TEXrail a bit early to be able to stop for a drink while waiting for it to be a little closer to show time to walk over there! Staff was outstanding during our groups visit. Drinks are top notch and food like their charcuterie board was decent if you need a small snack with your drinks. For sure keep them in mind when in this area!
A friend suggested we check this place out for a girls night out, hence how I ended up here. I've been to a lot of tastings however I will say that this was by far one of the best I've been to. First you want to go to their website and RSVP. You aren't required to pay until you arrive but it gives them an idea of how many people to expect. I arrived literally 2 minutes before the tasting was to begin and we were called into a large room where the magic happens. Roderick, our host for the evening, was charismatic, provided stories, history of the area and how the distillery came to be, how they make their products and very informative. There were 14 bottles and we got to choose which one we wanted between the two being offered each round. My friend and I decided we each would get one and share so we were able to try everything that was being offered which was great because a few that I thought I would like I didn't and a few I didn't think I would like, I loved! We were given pens and paper to take notes about the products - mine read "dangerous", "smooth", "not my favorite", "would be great in a mimosa" so I could remember what I liked and disliked about each one. Some that surprised me: the tea, the Java, the orangecello and I also really enjoyed the liquid pancake. You also get a discount on the large bottles because you took the tour. I have friends & family visiting later in the year and I'm already planning on coming back. Seriously worth the visit!
If I could give a 4 and a 1/2, that would be my rating. And if you're going specifically for the tasting and the tour, I would give them a 5 and a 1/2. The only reason I am giving a 4 is because I got there about 30 minutes early to get some food before my tasting because I didn't want to drink on an empty stomach. Unfortunately, I was told because there was a tour in front of me and they had ordered food that I would have to wait 15 to 20 minutes before I could get food. Even if I got a charcuterie board that doesn't have to be cooked. That was disappointing, but let me get back to the awesomeness. The tasting tour was amazing, and our tour guide Roderick not only educated us on how the liquors are made, but he also educated us about Fort Worth and the history, which made the tour even more special. I have been to distilleries before, but this was one of the best I've ever had. I appreciate the variety of liquors that they make and sell and I also appreciate that you can buy small bottles for $8 to $12 or you can buy a full size bottle and I heard that their cocktails are amazing. They also have plenty of seating, which is nice if you have a big group. Oh, they also have their own parking lot, which is nice too. Will I go back? Yes, I will definitely go back, but it will probably be when they are done with the tours for the day, (7pm is the last tour), because I heard the food is good as well. I just don't know because I didn't get to taste it.

Such friendly staff! The Christmas lights framing the distillery windows are beautiful, the cocktails are delicate, and the pretzel cane soft. A convenient location with lovely, quick bites and drinks right next to the convention center and TRE T&P station to get you started in Fort Worth for business or a fun night out. Dedicated parking out back. read more

I had no idea this distillery was across the street from the University of Texas at Arlington, Fort Worth location. I've discovered so many bars and distilleries that are 7-10mins from my home. So glad I got to experience great customer service during my visit. I enjoyed the lavender lemon drop beverage, food, and relaxing atmosphere. I discussed $20 tour and tasting with Roderick. I will return for a tour and tasting session when it gets cooler outside. read more
Arcs Distilling Co. Is a good spot to grab a drink when getting on or off the train or bus at Central Station. They had good drinks and decent seating to be able to visit before we needed to move on to our next destination nearby. Staff was helpful with directions to places nearby as well. They seemed to have a good spot if you need to have an area for a group which is nice with how close it is to Sundance. read more

Coffee and mixed drinks? Yes please! There was an event happening while I was here, so it was a little loud, but still a great experience. The bartenders helped me decide on a drink and chatted for a bit. I enjoyed it. read more

We had a fun tasting experience here and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to try different spirits and learn something about the distilling process. There were a few tastings I didn't care for, but that is the beauty of tastings. You try new things. We ordered a cocktail afterwards from the bar and the bartenders know how to make a good beverage. You get a little discount if your purchase after your tasting too. read more
A local gem with inspired cocktails for every palate! My gin based Grandma Millie's Cherry Pie was refreshing & delicious! Great atmosphere to sip and chat in a small or large group with tastings available if desired. Staff is friendly and I definitely will return! read more

Drinks and tasting experience were top notch. Lots to choose from and very creative. They also have a coffee bar as well. The owner seemed a bit underwhelmed by the experience of getting the medals and the distillers work versus the money it costs to be involved with the medal process. The tasting did start off a bit rough as a party of 8 was booked but did not show. We got placed at the back of the room behind everybody until finally 20 minutes into the tour I asked if we could just move to where everyone else is. If the party is already 20 minutes late, they shouldn't get priority over someone who was early. read more

Came here off a recommendation from a businessman on my flight. It was so MUCH fun! Came with a big group (20 + people) and most of us made reservations ahead of time. A few people didn't but Tony the owner graciously accommodated. We sat and did a tour and tasting of the distillery. They have award winning whiskey, vodka, gin, burbon, and other variations of spirits. Tony gave a phenomenal interactive presentation. Not only is Acre a distillery, it's also a bar, and they have coffee! Shoutout to Quinn, Luis, and Grace--they were so awesome and kind! I really liked the rum sidecar and their version of an espresso martini! If you are in Fort Worth, please stop by! Everyone is so nice and it's a great experience! read more

Super great happy hour spot! And let me tell you, they do not skimp on the alcohol because I only got a mule (one of the $5 happy hour options) and it was STRONG! Very good, and they have lots of different spirits to vary it up for you. I was hoping for something with grapefruit flavor, which they didn't have, but she did put some actual grapefruit into my drink too. With it being strong, and the fact I had barely eaten today, I had to get a pizza and it was really delicious! 12.99 for 8 slices (not humongous slices but not teeny tiny either). Honestly not bad price-wise for a bar, especially in downtown FW. I went because I went with some women I met after an event around the corner at A&M Law School, and they said they love to support this place because of the owner and great drinks! I will definitely have to come back for a tour sometime. Very beautiful place and great service. read more
This is such a warm and homey place! I don't think I've had such a perfect cocktail in my life. The menu is huge and if the cocktail I had was representative of how good the rest of it is - this place will have you set for a good night. We came by on a Saturday afternoon and it was surprisingly busy. They had three (I think) tasting parties going at once. I was not privy to those, but we watched them through the glass and they looked very enjoyable. We did have a hard time finding the building because it kind of blends in. We actually completely drove by it the first go around. If we had come by later in the evening it would have been obvious, since they have string lights on the patio. The ambiance inside is wonderful, as other members of Yelp Elite showed yesterday as well. read more
Go try the liquid pancake! I don't know how they do it but it tasted delicious & like a pancake! Acre Distilling Co. is a super cute cozy distillery that makes their own liquor in house. I thought the Peach Tea tasted exactly like Peach tea & I thought the cherry pie moonshine tasted exactly like a cheery pie, the crust and all! This place looks like a great place for parties or groups & has lots of variety! Rum, Vodka, whiskey, Bourbon, Gin, Moonshine, & more! Great Parking, great flights, & very festive for the holidays! read more
I tried several of their liquors at SXSW in Austin but this is my 1st time to the location. Signage is a bit obscure; probably a city regulation... Nice free parking area off the street; many of them covered. Plenty of tables that span along 2 sides of the tasting room and distillery. Staff was friendly, informative and helpful in my selection process. My drink was delicious and refreshing. Small food menu offered as well as coffee. read more
This place has it all. Drinks, tastings, food, tour. The tour of the facility includes a tasting and lasts about 45 minutes. They make vodka, gin, whiskey, rum. You can just hang out in their bar areas for sips and food if you don't want to do a tour. They have a good peach vodka. Add it to tea and you have a good drink. While there, we snaked out flat bread pizza and pretzels. Both were good. Parking is available on site read more

Stopped in for a tasting. The staff was knowledgeable and helped us choose what to taste. There were a lot of drinks to choose from. Gin, vodka, whiskey, moonshine and liqueurs. I loved the limoncello and finished my taste with the lavender based lemon drop. It was excellent! My hubby loved the gin and finished with the flying gin mule. It was also excellent. Would definitely come back again! read more
It's a beautiful distillery. I love all the wood details and character it has. We went on a Tuesday it was quiet and relaxing. Their craft cocktails are so yummy. I had the Fort Worth fire. It's heavy on the cinnamon and really good. They use wooden straws which I find to be very sophisticated and eco friendly at the same time! I will for sure be back the try other menu options. They have a piano, it would be nice to come back when they have live music! read more

Is this place kid friendly? My kids are very well behaved and would love to come but I would have to bring them.
Yes
How are bottle prices here, say compared to Goody Goody? Looks like a 750mL bottle of the vodka (Halo) is $26 at GG. Thanks, Eric
Bottle prices for vodkas is $19 for 750 ml. Besides straight vodka, they have several flavored vodkas.
