From the moment they answer the phone with "How can I serve you?", you can tell customer service is at the heart of what they do. Steve is usually the person I work with, and he has always been fantastic to deal with. The team is incredibly transparent throughout the entire process and takes the time to show videos and pictures of anything they recommend for your vehicle. What I appreciate most is that they never use pressure or scare tactics to push unnecessary repairs. They're honest, straightforward, and truly treat you like family instead of just another customer walking through the door. It's hard to find an auto shop you can fully trust these days, but Christian Brothers has absolutely earned ours.

Ted's Automatic Transmission: A Five-Star Experience…read more Ted's Automatic Transmission of Raleigh truly deserves a five-star rating. When the transmission in my 2015 GMC began slipping just four years and 77,000 miles after the dealership had installed it, I was sick to my stomach. The dealership quoted me over $7,000 to rebuild the transmission .... again. During a recent job transporting aftermarket torque converters for GEM Logistics, I asked around for a reliable transmission mechanic. Nate at GEM Logistics immediately recommended Ted's Transmission and told me to "Ask for Marvin." I called Marvin at Ted's Automatic Transmission, and after a brief conversation, he suggested I bring my truck in for a closer look. Upon arriving at the shop, I was impressed by the beautiful facility and the friendly atmosphere. Marvin's straightforward approach and reassuring demeanor immediately put me at ease as he conducted a preliminary evaluation based on my information. Marvin and his team went above and beyond to resolve my issue. Not only did they rebuild my transmission in less than 48 hours, but their pricing was extremely affordable. The entire process was smooth and worry-free, thanks to their professionalism and expertise. I am deeply thankful to Marvin and the entire team at Ted's Automatic Transmission for their outstanding service. Thank you, Marvin, and kudos to everyone at Ted's Automatic Transmission!

The staff was very nice and accommodating I got to see all of them in their element, they were so respective to the clients and everyone that walked through! It felt like home there. All of the staff members seemed knowledgeable, I was able to get my breaks fixed with little to no hassle! The bathroom was also very clean! Later that evening, they called with a repair estimate of $2,156 to replace the radiator fan, thermostat, and tires, plus $309 just to refill the antifreeze. When I called to ask about alternatives, they only reduced the price by $20. That felt excessive, so I decided to get a second opinion. I ended up going to NC Complete Auto Care, where the radiator fan was replaced for $881. They didn't charge for refilling the antifreeze and said the thermostat wasn't an issue and did not need to be replaced. They also let me know I could safely wait on the tires for a couple more months. I appreciated the transparency and will be taking my business there from now on. I can't recommend Cary Car Care based on my experience.

Terrible service! I…read moreaccidentally made my appointment for Wednesday 10/30/24 instead of Wednesday 10/23/24 but brought my car in Tuesday afternoon 10/22/24 and got checked in. No call or text Wednesday 10/23/24 so I called at the end of the day and was told they hadn't started working on the car yet but I was in the queue for the work to be done in the morning. I called today Thursday 10/24/24 and they still hadn't touched the car! And that's when the mechanic told me the appt. was for the 30th. I realize it was my mistake on the scheduling but why didn't the check in lady tell me I had the day wrong? And why didn't someone notice yesterday when the car was sitting there all day? And why did they say the car was in queue to be worked on in the morning? I'm on my way out of town for a family emergency and this messed me up so badly. I've been calling all over to see if I could get a rush job on the work. Really terrible service and I will never go back here or recommend them. Update: I appreciate the businesses response but there was another aspect of this situation that bothered me. When I realize the date mistake I asked the guy who answered the phone if they could squeeze me in. He said: if someone who has an appointment doesn't show up or cancels we can get you in. But I can't make any guarantees. I kind of expected that he'd try to see if he could accommodate me but he just said sorry...can't do anything. And I would feel differently if he had at least shown some empathy.
