This was near my house and I always pass by it without a thought until I finally caved in and tried it! I love sushi so why not? To my surprise they had a variety of sushi at such a very affordable price, the low price really kept me skeptical but it was good quality and tasted very yummy! Service is very nice as well, the man at the counter was friendly and the sushi chef was in the front as well working on our order. I stopped by Sushi Time yesterday to pick up a couple of items to go: - Black dragon roll ($15.99): they give you a lot more eel here than other places, very filling and would recommend. - Sashimi deluxe ($15.99): I only liked the salmon. The texture of the tuna was weird, kind of spongy, and the yellowtail was just ok. I wouldn't get this again. There are a handful of small tables inside that could fit 2 people. I would not recommend a party larger than 4. The owner was kind and I would totally come here again for the rolls. However I would not get the sashimi; I wish I had gotten another roll instead. I'm not sure if they charge a small fee ($1) for takeout as my total was $36 and change. read more

Decided to come to Sushi Time for lunch. Handicap parking isn't far from the entrance so it was convenient. Mostly a take out place with a small dining area with 4 tables. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll and a rainbow roll. I just got some complimentary room temperature water to pair with the food. Service was excellent and the relaxing background Jazz music was just loud enough to enjoy. I prefer more vinegar flavor to my sushi rice, so had to deduct one star for that. This is not amazing sushi and there shouldn't be an expectation that it should be. However, it is good sushi for its price point, nicely put together, and service is both fast and very welcoming. I ordered a sushi tray over the phone and the most friendly woman helped me with my reservation just before closing. My go-to's are the Volcano Roll (just the right amount of spicy and so good), the jumbo shrimp shumai is absolutely delicious, and the California roll with cream cheese omg love it every time. Plus, their customer service is just top-notch. There's a lady at the front who's always super sweet and friendly. When I stopped by Sushi Time the people behind the counter greeted me right when I walked in and showed me the menu. The sushi is very reasonably priced. You order at the front by the counter and if you pay cash that is preferred. If you pay card it is a 3.95% surcharge at this location, so make sure to bring cash. The food was ready fast, in less than 5 minutes. The tuna was good and fresh with a rich color, but I preferred the tuna salmon avocado roll. The textures were great and the presentation was very eye catching. There were lots of drink and ice cream options as well but I was too full to get more items, two rolls were more than filling for one person. Happy International Sushi Day! Sushi Time = letting the good times roll ;)! Today is International Sushi Day it and was the perfect day to check out Sushi Time! I knew I wanted to get sushi today and since I've never tried Sushi Time; it just felt like a good place to visit. I definitely was not disappointed because I loved both of the sushi dishes I got. I chose to get the Chicken Teriyaki roll and the California Cream Cheese roll. The Chicken Teriyaki roll was $8.99 and came with 6 rolls filled with avocado, cucumber, chicken tempura and drizzled with eel sauce. The California Roll Cream Cheese was $6.50 and came with 8 rolls filled with crabmeat, avocado and cream cheese. Portion size was perfect for sharing. Both rolls were delicious in their own unique way. For the Chicken Teriyaki; I loved the tender chicken teriyaki that paired well with the avocado. I enjoyed the generous cream cheese that was in the California Roll Cream Cheese. I was definitely one happy girl eating both of these rolls and I am excited to try different rolls next time! I shared the rolls with my mom and she equally really enjoyed both as well. Aside from rolls; this spot also has bowls (chicken teriyaki, poke), appetizers (edamame, shumai, dumplings) and even dessert (Japanese soft serve and cake). I stopped in on a whim on my way to pick up sushi elsewhere. It was right there and I'd been once before. It wasn't the best - but for the price it was good. Boy, do I regret not driving the extra couple miles. It was 11:30ish and the place was empty. I ordered a few different rolls for takeout and the order was ready fairly quickly. I believe the man who took and handed me my order was the owner. I took it home (1 mile) in the air-conditioned car and put the bag in the fridge. Boy, do I regret not opening that bag and checking the order. Later that day when I finally opened it up, the first two rolls looked and tasted fine. Nice, pink fish and fresh avocado. When I saw the third roll (pictured), I was horrified. One of my other rolls contained salmon and was a normal, vibrant color. This is NOT normal. It's grey! Who on EARTH would think this is acceptable to serve anyone!? Have some pride in what you make and don't insult a paying customer like this. It didn't smell bad, but no way am I ever eating any fish (especially raw fish!) that looks like that. Disappointing waste of money. I will drive the extra 2 miles and pay more next time. The sushi here is delicious! I've tried the Fancy Volcano Roll, the Golden Dragon Roll, and the Dragon Roll! I would highly recommend these rolls. I definitely need to try the other rolls on the Special Roll side! But these 3 keep calling my name every time I come here. One day I'll try something different. Service: Really friendly! They'll have your rolls ready in no time! Price: Last time I rolled here for lunch I spent $27 for 2 special rolls. A bit pricey. But I've paid more for less quality. This place is more for takeout, they have a small seating area but no table service. Order at the register and pick up your order. I only knocked down one star for the wait time. I was told 20mins and it was more like 45mins. They seem really busy so I'd recommend to call ahead or expect to wait. Also, there is a 3.95% card fee if using a credit card so I paid with cash.
