Veggie Tempura
Kim B.

Traveling for work...I always try to find local restaurants to try. Searching Yelp...Sushi Thai seemed to be the spot. I went in right after work arriving at about 4 pm and was seated promptly. My waiter, waitress and server were all super nice. I ordered a glass of wine and enjoyed the soft jazz playing in the background as I checked out the menu. From Chinese, to Japanese to Thai...there were so many selections to choose from. I started with the veggie tempura. It was super tasty, not greasy at all and was complimented by a sweet and savory ponzu sauce. Made up of broccoli, zucchini and baby corn, my only disappointment was that sweet potatoes were not one of the veggies. Next I ordered a simple California Roll. I asked for roe to be added to the outside and they hooked me up. Tightly rolled with a burst of fresh flavor...it was amazing! I ordered massaman curry with tofu for my main dish. It was good but a little too peanut butter forward for me. I will try a different main dish next time. Last, I got the mango and sticky rice. It was so good my eyeballs rolled to the back of my head. Lol! I am going back today for dessert. Lol! I was a little skeptical about sushi or Thai in a quaint southern town...but I am glad I went in. The food was so worth it and the staff were attentive and super nice!

Our favorite Thai/japanese and sushi place around! Their pad se ew with chicken is perfection. My husband loves their pad Thai. We try a different sushi roll every time and they have all been amazing. The family that owns it is so sweet and remembers you when you come back. It is always so calming inside eith chill music and a great atmosphere. Always very fast service but we don't feel rushed at all. Couldn't ask for better. We go there around every two weeks now we love it so much!

I always enjoy stopping in whether that's to dine in or take out, they have great customer service, a huge menu of options and a lovely atmosphere. I appreciate good customer service and they always have it. I recommend the sushi dishes and curry. I did try the dim sum sampler appetizer and it wasn't to my taste but the dumplings were cute! Come in, get some hot sake and sushi!

Trying a nice looking sushi place is always a must. Can't wait to try everything!

We absolutely loved our carry out order from Sushi Thai. Looking forward to eating in the restaurant next time when we don't have time restraints. The service was upbeat and fabulous with friendly, oh-so-helpful wait staff. The gentleman that assisted us show us the menu with picture examples of the different sushi options as well as shared the favorites of regulars. Between all three of us, we got a selection of sushi and sashimi spanning the available options. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The quality was amazing--especially for an inland sushi restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and we are looking forward to better enjoying it by dining in next visit. Can't wait to return!

Got a hankering for some Thai, Lao, Japanese, or Chinese food? Sushi Thai hits a lot of those cuisines and does it in an authentic way. This is not dumb downed, Americanized food but food that can make a fairly strong standing with restaurants in more diverse areas. The sushi is well-proportioned. The spice levels are authentic (don't order a 3 and expect it to be "medium hot"}. My group enjoys the filling Bento Boxes, Sushi, Thai favorites such as Pad Kee Mao, Pad See Ew, Pat Thai and Curry dishes. The service is outstanding and personable. I enjoy taking my time and not feeling like I am being rushed, even though it gets very busy on weekend nights. We are coming here for dinner with friends tonight!!! Looking forward to a great meal!

I'm new at the sushi game, as I just started actually trying more of it and I must say the food here is very good. We tried three different rolls and they were freshly prepared, flavorful and we did not leave hungry. The staff was very nice and kept our drinks filled. I'll go back again soon!

Triple Crown

We are visiting from Las Vegas (sushi capital in the USA.) After a hellish flight, full of delays and turbulence, we arrived in Tullahoma exhausted and hongry. We were so pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the fresh, delicious sushi. The staff were from start to finish so friendly and helpful. Although the menu boasts a great variety of Thai and Japanese selections, we were very impressed woth just sushi. Our real estate agent said the pad thai is a thing too. We will definitely back!

Lady Fingers to go with side of eel sauce

Placed an order for the Lady Fingers to go. It's a rainbow roll with 4 pieces of sashimi. 2 salmon and 2 tuna. Came with a ginger salad (or miso soup) The sushi was so fresh and tasted great. I appreciated that they put the ginger dressing on the side for the salad. Everything was good and I will definitely be back

One of the best. Some of the freshest sushi I've had in a long time this far from the coast. Highly recommend.

So this was my first time to the Big Bowl Thai, and my family have been regulars. I do have to say,…read morethe 1 star is only because the basil fried rice was pretty delicious. We were seating fairly quickly and when we got there it was just one other table, the waitress took out drink order and was really confusing about the diet coke (I am assuming they were out of the syrup but we asked for diet coke and she said yes then said coke so we were like no diet, and she said no, so we asked if she had diet and she said Coke) so we opted for unsweet tea. We placed our orders and my mom and sister received their food and then the waitress disappeared. Finally another woman came to the table and said the food was being prepared, but after 25 mins (my mom and sister finished their meals basically) my fried rice was brought out. Then not even two seconds after the other waitress brought the food, our original waitress came and took my sister's plate while she was still eating the banana roll. It was pretty awkward, no apologies, no nothing so idk if this is a normal occurrence or the first day for the waitress or if there was an issue but new tables came in and sat down and received their food all before mine came out. About 6 to go orders went out as well. I would've expected them to say something as an update but we were left in the dark. Overall i dint know if I would be back, the service was really bad, and i dint think that food makes up for the lack of service.

I've been here several times and it is usually very good and not too crowded. The most recent time…read moreI took my father-in-law and family out for his birthday. We were promptly seated and had our orders taken. We got chicken satay, gyoza, beef salad, pad thai, red curry and two sides of rice. Overall this is a good restaurant and we visit semi-regularly. I wouldnt say it is perfect though. Downsides for me: limited lunch menu (with smallish portions), hours change pretty regularly (they have a break between dinner and lunch), they stopped serving alcohol and most egregious: they don't have Coke Zero. But seriously, unlike most places they often dont ask you what spice level you want on a dish. My request for 'Thai Hot' resulted in a moderately spiced dish that required extra doses of chili flakes, which is sad. Prices are on the higher end for a Thai restaurant with a lot of add on fees (brown rice is a $2.00 upcharge, etc). Those small complaints aside, the food is good and the service is mostly very good. The restaurant is usually quiet and not super crowded. If you're in the mood for Thai I would definitely check them out!
