I've been eating here since October 2016 and I don't even live in the area. I always get the Pink Lady and the Pink Flower roll. Consistently friendly, fresh and clean. My favourite sushi restaurant in Etobicoke.

A family owned business that is run by a very lovely family! Came here on the weekend to try a new sushi spot we haven't been to before. We were greeted with open arms and sat into a booth instead of a table. They took our order and didn't disturb us at all during the meal. There is also a "ring" button to call the server at each table, which is really nice! The food was AMAZING. Very light, not too salty and perfectly balanced. The quality of the fish was superb. The overall restaurant was decorated with cute drawings everywhere! It was absolutely wonderful to see. Would definitely come back here to try other menu items!

We ordered takeout through Uber eats and the order was filled quickly. The tempura shrimp stayed crispy and the dragon rolls were very fresh with lots of toppings and fillings. Next time, I would order directly from the restaurant and pickup, as the prices are cheaper.

Extremely hospitable service from Alyssa and cute decor, we sat inside private room with great ambiance. Fish is fresh with great presentation. We had a box and salmon lovers combo along with shrimp tempura. Everything beyond expectations and will definitely be coming back!

The best sushi in Toronto. I don't hand out 5 stars frivolously and this place earned it easily. Amazing sushi rolls, great bento boxes, superb appetizers. The rice is pefectly cooked, the rolls brilliantly rolled with flavour profiles that are outstanding. Will come again!

Soft shelled crab with plastic food wrap.

I placed an order of softshell crab and when I went to eat it I noticed and odd texture. Upon examining my food I noticed the crab had plastic wrap on it. Instead of throwing it out I kept the food as evidence. I don't know if this was negligence on the restaurants part or if it was deliberate food tampering but I'm never ordering from them again.

Bad. Badder. Baddest. This is the way I'm describing a restaurant so bad, I want to rate it a zero. If you follow my reviews, you know that I rarely rate 1 and rarely rate 5 in any of my reviews so it either has to be really bad or really good if it ends up being a 1 or 5. Called beforehand and asked them if they had parking for customers. They said, "yes, we will show you when you come". There are people (staff of theirs) parked in the spots and no place for the customers to park.. considering we were the only ones in there, it's hard to believe all the spots were taken. Anyways, we wanted to go here, so we paid for parking... Walking inside, it took forever to get seated. This is unacceptable. It's not busy, I've worked in the food industry when I was younger... you should always be doing something especially working for a small restaurant like that... We finally get seated and I use my Yelp check-in offer, my girlfriend does the same - we used it last time, too - this time the girl claims that it's one per order. We had two orders, the promotion does not state we can't both use it or has any limitations on it... in addition to that, we've been there before and have used both of our Yelp offers before. Anyways now disappointed, the booth wasn't tidied up too much, she asked us what we wanted to drink... I ordered an apple juice, and my girlfriend got hot water (this took like 20 minutes to get to us) so going back to being the only people in there, this is unacceptable as a restaurant! Also no refillable fountain drinks, they're only canned drinks. I had the salmon lover combo and my girlfriend had udon noodles. Tasted average. We got our Yelp offer free edamame, but I didn't get my ice cream. Salads were drenched in so much dressing it was unbelievable and it was a really small portion. My girlfriends beef udon had like no beef in it.... This restaurant is skimming from their repeat customers. Shame on them. But bringing the bill, even before we asked for it, and that was really quick, it didn't leave us wanting to come there again (which is what every business should do). And by the end, as if there could be anything to make it worse, they give us 1 candy with the bill for 2 of us. Terrible. 0/5 this place used to be good, but now it's gotten to the point of no return. don't come to this place.

This was my third time here. I do not plan on coming back again. This was a very bad experience. My boyfriend and I drove over 30 mins to get here for an early dinner. We were told on the phone before coming that there is free parking available in the back, however there was none when we got there. When we got there we didn't see any staff member except the chef who did not greet us. There were no other customers in the restaurant. Service was very slow. We were waiting very long just for drinks to come (even though there were no other customers). There is a free appetizer or dessert for checking in on yelp. This includes edamame, Gyoza or ice cream. This coupon does not list any restrictions (see pictures). My boyfriend is a yelper too and checked in to the restaurant on yelp and got the coupon as well. However, they did not let us both use the coupon - they stated it was "one per team". The coupon does not state this anywhere and I found this to be very unfair of them to impose unstated conditions. I ordered the udon noodle soup with beef and my boyfriend got the salmon sushi combo. The udon noodles were very small and there was barely any beef. I was still hungry after eating it. For the price, you'd expect more. Furthermore, our booth was unclean with garbage on the floor (see photos). It felt as if they were rushing us out the door (even though they weren't busy). When the check came, they gave one mint for two people - I have never seen a restaurant do that before. My first two visits to this restaurant were much better and I don't know what happened since then.

This restaurant is own by a very nice Korean lady, had a great time talking to her during my time here. I was flying solo for a night in Toronto, and I was craving some seafood, the restaurant I had planned to go was closed for the following party. Decided to settle with some Sushi and glad I did. The food here is delicious, super big plus on able to make the sushi roll with brown rice. I don't understand why so many places would give me a hard time for that. Ordered one of the Sushi, Sashimi and Maki Combo, the sushi was very good and with the brown rice, it was perfect. All the people that work at this restaurant are very friendly, they keep checking up on me and asked if there is anything else I need. After I finished my meal, the owner stopped by and we had a great conversation. Next time when I am in Toronto, I will for sure to come back again.

Actually really liked this local sushi restaurant! They had some of the "trendier" sushi dishes which differentiated this place from regular sushi restaurants. The crispy sashimi tacos really stood out to us, since we didn't have something like that before. The rolls itself, was pretty good as well. Service was good, and the restaurant overall - we got was a typical local sushi restaurant. Would we come back? Possibly, considering how close the restaurant is! Just moved to the hood and turned to yelp for sushi recommendations and this place had great reviews. As someone who is new to Toronto winters, I made the mistake of walking 15 minutes to get here in -15 but was warmed up inside and promptly given tea. I ordered box C for take away and the sushi was delicious (especially the spicy sashimi roll) the take away packaging was great (no spills, soup stayed warm) and one of the women even came to help me bundle up for my walk back. I will definitely go back (just might have to bundle up better or take an uber ). read more

Greeting is an art and these people do it the best. Love their new menu "sushi taco". Fresh ingredients great menu, bento boxes and rolls are dynamite and boats are great for entertaining. I've been there twice in the last couple of weeks and service was all smiles. read more

I've ordered 3 rolls and several appetizers, the server bring me wrong roll and refuse to change. Again I Am ONE HUNDRED PERCENT SURE what I ordered. Besides the terrible service everything else is good and they have the booth which is good as well. read more

Unfortunately for my co-workers I'm being extremely strict about the foods I do and do not eat while we are here in Toronto for business. However, sick of salad and searching for something tasty I came across Sushi Run on yelp. Impressed with the rating we decided to come here for lunch. I was very pleased with the service, the decor, we noted the private booths which were full at the time. The servers were extremely nice and almost immediately brought tea to the table. I was happy to see large mugs of tea rather than the small dip bowls common at home. The food was great, my order of miso soup came with a tasting of the crystal noodles offered. I believe they are made from sweet potatoes, other than the slight hue from the potatoes they are generally clear. They were great, I'll consider ordering them on my next visit. (We are here for two weeks), the miso soup was great as well. Shortly after my order came out, the spicy crunchy salmon roll and two pieces of salmon sushi. Both were fresh and excellent. The presentation was great. This definitely beat out our sushi place (nearby our office) back home. The speed of the restaurant was great, we had ample space and weren't overpowered with any conversations taking place. I make this note as Sushi Run is in a strip of businesses and quite narrow. The moral of the story is I was quite pleased with my visit and I'll be back soon! read more

Ordered delivery, however, unfortunately for us, we weren't sure what they meant by 'hand rolled', and was surprised to see two large burrito-looking sushi rolls. They tasted great, though a little difficult to eat. Will be sure to know for certain what we're ordering next time, so as to avoid slight disappointment. read more

This place has become my go-to sushi spot! I LOVE their sushi, the quality, their service and the place itself is so cute! It has a little sushi bar and cute little booths. The servers are very friendly and the food, I don't even know where to begin! The sushi is a good size, very fresh, and very very delicious. it may seem a little pricey but their menu carries a variety. Overall, 10/10 would recomend! read more

This place was okay at best. Sever forgot my watet.....twice. The sushi is cheap and it was really busy when I got here. They had a lot of take out orders as well. As for the actual food it was mediocre at best. The pieces were big and we had some roll that had some weird mayo sauce on it which did not make it good whatsoever. When it comes to Sushi I know by now that the cheaper you pay the less quality you receieve which makes sense I guess. Anyways, come here if you what some quick and cheap sushi eats. read more

Excellent! My wife and I stopped in for a meal of sushi burrito for her, and some kind of vegetarian roll for me. Warning: they consider shrimp as vegetarian so read the menu well, but the food we ordered was impeccable. If you're in the area and looking for some tasty fresh food, stop in for a bite! read more

I was looking for a good sushi place to try something different and I came across Sushi Run. There were high ratings which definitely caught my eye. I only went for takeout but they made me feel so welcomed and happy. The staff there have amazing and positive personalities! We moved into the neighbourhood and tried a few sushi places, this is by far our favourite. We love the sushi and the incredible owners. We have found the sushi very fresh and consistently tasty. Such a cute place. Ran in at around 7pm on a Wednesday for some takeout and the staff were so friendly and really nice. They told me to have a seat at a table by the door while I waited and brought me tea and an appetizer. The sushi (I got a veggie green dragon roll & yasi roll) was fresh and really good. I would definitely re-visit and totally recommend visiting here :) read more

This was the best sushi my husband and I have ever had, and we frequent a lot of sushi restaurants. It's not all you can eat, but the dishes are plentiful and the prices are fair especially for the quality. We got appetizers and sushi/maki and everything we ordered was sooo delicious. Got a few items complimentary as well. The service was superb, even the chefs said hello and thanked us when we were leaving. Super welcoming, excellent food, and great price. 10/10 our new sushi go to. read more

This place is awesome. The staff is very friendly and they have taken care of us every time we have come in. Last time we were in there it was 30 mins before close and they gave us one of the private rooms gave me extra food because my husband ordered a big meal and I only ordered a la carte sushi. I would recommend them and will be sure to visit again. They are my go to for an after movie meal. read more

After owner change at our regular Sushi Restaurant we searched for a new local Sushi Restaurant that we could call our regular go to place. We think we found it. Ordered a platter plus two funky rolls for 3 of us. Taste and presentation was great. Also, got a free noodle appetizers for table. Very relaxed, atmosphere good, this isn't a place for fancy dinner. Very busy, lots of take out and staff very friendly. Ended dinner with complementary ice cream, mango, red bean and green tea. Will definitely be back. Price very reasonable! read more

Absolutely love this spot! So happy that they're open again! Had the chicken Don buri at lunch today and my gosh, it was amazing. Not to me room I got a soup and salad with the lunch special and just paid a little over ten dollars. Great prices, innovative dishes, and stellar service. I normally don't write reviews, but the service here was exceptional! I was just ordering take out, and the service provided to me was above and beyond that I considered giving tip (chose not to, but will be back to eat at the restaurant next time). The food is above average for the area I would suppose. But compared to really good sushi places, it's just okay. However the pricing for that is obviously very different as well. Overall for value and service 5/5! read more

I've been a regular takeout customer for about 2 years now, and the place is still great even after the change in ownership. All the employees (not 'just' the waitress) are super nice and interactive, and I feel that they have an even more positive and friendly environment since it changed. I appreciate both the spacious booths as well as the small tables for when I have the time to dine in by myself. We also had a small birthday get-together in a group of 10 people, and the waitress' service was still on point. I look forward to my next take out! read more

- friendly, interactive staff - good sushi made with fresh ingredients and awesome presentation - authentic and unique feeling restaurant, really quite nice inside I've only been once and already had a great experience - and I was only grabbing take-out! While my sushi was being prepared I was brought tea and warm conversation. They had a bit of extra noodles from a large dish they had prepared to which they served the leftovers to myself and my girlfriend. All of this was after I had paid. It all contributed to the distinct feeling I got that this wasn't about getting a tip, it was about providing a welcoming environment that people would want to return to. I'll be back! read more

My mom (Annie) has been working at this store for more than 7 years managing it everyday. She never took a vacation and stood by this place for a long time. Just recently the previous owner got ill and had to close the restaurant down. This was going to be the end of this cozy little sushi restaurant until my mom was asked to take over. After making a family decision we decided to help Annie become her own boss and become the new owner of the restaurant but with a new name and a brighter vision. "Sushi Run" is the same little cozy sushi spot it used to be but now with the Park Family to give it some TLC.
