She was incredibly understanding, patient, and accommodating, which made everything so much less stressful. They even put together a thoughtful, well-curated menu that accommodated guests that preferred cooked rolls . The setup was seamless. The chefs arrived a few hours before serving time and had cut rolls, nigiri, and sashimi ready by 5:30 . Both chefs were attentive, kind, and very accommodating during the event. Our guests especially loved the specials--the halibut carpaccio and yellowtail picante were a huge hit, and the bay scallops were absolutely wonderful. Overall, everything went so well, and the addition of the halibut and sashimi really elevated the experience. They helped make such a special milestone celebration memorable for our entire family. They will text you the menu and go through everything one by one to make sure you are pleased with the layout of the menu. M sushi was generous enough to throw in some of my requested accommodations of certain rolls and baked salmon completely complimentary. I was really grateful for that since my niece is almost 3 and doesn't eat raw fish. We had the honor of having Chef Ling orchestrate the omakase. He was so professional, cleanly and punctual. Believe it or not, he showed up about an hour early to make sure he wasn't late! During the omakase experience, he guided us on how exactly to eat what was prepared and to let him know anytime we wanted more personalized rolls, sashimi, or hand-rolls prepared. I worked with them and had specific instruction. Very simple to follow. They did the event but did not do the hand rolls nor did they stick to the menu. Instead they filled half of it with imitation crab. Even speaking to them after the event they never took responsibility for it. Not the end of the world but if you want the direction followed properly then be careful with it. And don't expect them to take responsibility for anything that goes wrong. read more
