I had Ray's Sushi cater my husband's 70th birthday party back in March 2025 and I can tell you that there was not a dissatisfied guest in the house! They came on time they set up and they had food being prepared nonstop. There was so much food. We also had leftovers there was about 65 to 70 people and it was amazing. We loved ordering catering for our house party from Ray's sushi catering. We chose the large sushi party tray 1 that had 22 pieces of salmon, tuna , yellowtail , white fish, albacore, and shrimp sushi. You could tell the fish was really fresh because the tuna color was a healthy reddish color and had a glistening look to the meat. I get allergic to shrimp if it's old and this shrimp was not only perfectly tender, it was also naturally sweet! We also ordered the large 8 Special roll Party and we had a rainbow row, spicy tuna roll with a crunch, a salmon roll with avocado on top, a crunch type of roll, amongst others. We told the restaurant to pick their most popular rolls and these did not disappoint! I know it's corny but the best part of these rolls were the rice. Perfectly steamed and fresh sushi rice. We hosted a 100 day celebration for my daughters and hire them as catering. One of the best decision! They are simply amazing. They did show up an hour earlier than expected, but it was all good. Ray catered sushi for my graduation party of about 35 people at my home! Amazing! After researching many at home sushi catering chefs and speaking with Ray on the phone, I had a feeling he was going to be the best choice. From the first minute I organized with Ray, he was so accommodating with the price and menu item selections. Anything I requested for the menu, he gladly added to it. He came a couple hours prior to my party in order to prepare since he was working on his own. At the party, Everyone was coming up to me and raving about how it was the best tasting/quality sushi they've ever had! Everything from the rolls to the carpaccio to the crispy rice spicy tuna tasted amazing. Not to mention all the sauces for the sushi. He also prepared baked rolls for anyone who did not want raw fish. Ray also was so kind and helpful. He didn't ask for anything and worked hard at making everyone happy and full. I got so many comments on how nice/sweet he was. When he was about to pack up and leave, I mentioned to him that I didn't get to really eat anything since I was trying to run the party. He gladly stayed longer and made a few rolls just for me so that I can have when the party was over. I promise you won't regret having Ray catering your sushi party. If you want fresh and great tasting sushi with amazing customer service, then your best bet is Ray! We hosted 60-70 people for a welcome baby / holiday party and Ray showed up on time and ready to work.
