The maki is always tasty and the various additions--like special rolls, tempura, and so on--always round out the meal well. This will not be the most adventurous sushi experience of your life, but you can set your watch to the quality of the basics, again and again. The restaurant probably has around 10-15 tables that can fit 4 people (more if the tables are combined). Prices are great and the customer service is excellent! The fish was not fresh and the rice had a musty smell and flavour to it. Even the spicy salmon rolls and california rolls left a lot to be desired. Overall, everything just lacked freshness and flavour. Needless to say, I did not enjoy my meal and I will likely be looking for a new sushi spot. The owners are such wonderful people though and they have fed us so well over the years that it just breaks my heart to see this decline. I hope it can get turned around.

We recently celebrated an 80th birthday at home with many guests and we ordered catering from Katsu. They went above and beyond to provide us with an amazing assortment of sushi and other dishes to try and everything was so fresh and tasty. It was wonderful to try new items and our guests were very impressed with the tasty offering. If you are looking for quality traditional Japanese food at a VERY reasonable price with wonderful service, this is the place to go. We visit weekly and for special occasions. 20 years ago we brought our grandchildren here and they loved it so much. They would always ask to go to the sushi restaurant with the monkeys in the tree... and to this day, when asked where they want to go out to eat, Katsu is the first choice.
