I ordered one time around 8 pm and they cancelled my order even though they close around 8:30. The sushi is cut so perfectly and so fresh so we still order from here. The amount of cheese wontons is the most I've ever got for the price. The slices of sashimi are really small but really yummy.

There isn't much decent places in Durham for sushi. So I decided to give this place a try - since the reviews were decent. I ordered one of the maki party trays (forgot which one) and here's my thought: not only was the sushi not fresh but it was not made well. As soon as you picked one up it starts to collapse. I couldn't even eat the entire tray because it just didn't taste good. I won't be coming back to this location even though the prices were good. I would rather drive an hour out of the city to get better sushi.

Still excellent, and my go-to spot in Durham to satisfy a sushi craving. Sushi was prepared very well, the rice was soft and still warm, the nori was crispy and seasoned, and the fish was cut to just the right size. Been coming here since 2009, and always remember to be courteous to the ONE lady working all the tables.

what a pleasant surprise! Let's just get straight to it, this place has really good sushi. You mean to tell me i don't have to drive to Markham for my sushi?!? For now anyway! None of that defrosted from frozen sh!t. Like melts in your mouth quality. Give me your speciality rolls and I'll tell you how good your sushi is. And their T&T roll is gooood! We came for the a la cart but there's ayce here too. Good to know cause if you're teasing me with good quality rolls then ya know I'm coming back for your AYCE!

Yum roll and spicy tuna roll are all good!

My experience at T&T Sushi is a 4.5 star. I am so sorry I have to deduct half a star because of the "a little bit" outdated interior decor and "can be better" service. However, the small restaurant is kept clean with comfortable seating. We were at Ajax on a Saturday and wondering where to have our dinner. The Yelp app becomes very handy whenever I am so lost in looking for a place to eat. T&T Sushi got very good reviews and we haven't had Japanese food for quite a while, we decided to try. Glad we went there. No regret. We haven't had such good quality AYCA sushi rolls and tempuras for a long time. The yum roll and the spicy tuna roll are both amazing. The sashimi is fresh as well. Green tea, pops and ice tea, various kinds of ice cream are all included in the AYCA menu. Dinner at $24.99 each for adult on weekends is a fair price for real quality food. The service was not too attentive but I would not blame as the place was quite busy and there was only one woman serving the whole place. Once order was placed, the food, actually, came fast. The ladies washroom was nothing fancy but kept very clean and tidy. Heard that the men's room was a little small though lol. It is worth going back again for sure! Next time, I'll try the lunch.

Spicy salmon, salmon sushi, seaweed salad and deep fried scallops

From the outside, it looks like a bait and tackle shop in a dilapidated town. Thank goodness for Yelp as seeing is believing so as my bestie and I drove behind the resto to park we were encouraged by the nice cars that were parked. We arrived during AYCE lunch for $14.99. I must say that the quality is quite good. The service is prompt. The furnishings are definitely a bit run down and the ladies room left a lot to be desired. (Watch out for the gap in the floor when you step in:p) However, the experience was cheap, delicious and cheerful. The highlights were the shrimp and okra tempura, salmon sushi, dynamite roll, deep fried scallops and shrimp skewers. They were all fresh tasting and textbook good. The tempura was quite exceptional and is up to par with the best ones that I have had. Light, airy and flavourful batter. The misses were the chicken kaarage (too dry) and spider roll (where's the soft shell crab?). Notwithstanding the misses for the value I would definitely come back to this place if I am ever back in the area. I could just imagine that the a la carte menu would be just as good.

This is my second visit to tnt . And both times i had a good experience. The food was delicious, i do recommend the kamikaze rolls and the bbq mackerel.also the spicy tuna had some kick to it. I dont really have anything negative to say. The place it self seems outdated but thats what makes it one of those hidden gems in ajax . This is my new go to spot when iam in the neighborhood

All you can eat lunch menu

I won't lie... When my fiance first pulled up to this place I thought, "oh my.. This place looks so run down". But you know that little thing about sketchy run down places - it usually has really good food. Luckily that rule applied to this place. Cute little place that could seat about 30 people. We both got the "Bento Box Lunch [Lunch Special] - Assorted Tempura (broccoli, eggplant, sweet potato, zucchini and shrimp) + 6 piece sushi roll (3 avocado + 3 salmon) + 2 piece cheese wonton + teriyaki salmon + rice + salad + miso soup. Overall, all the dishes were alright. Everything was cook well and seasoned well. The salmon was a still moist and not overcooked. The cream cheese wonton was a little cold though, it also tasted like cherry cheesecake.. not complaining about that though - just didn't expect it to taste like dessert. Service was good, considering that it was a full house and only one waitresss was running tables. Will most likely come back in the future :) Also they take credit + debit and there's extra parking in the back (gravel parking lot).

I recently had dinner with a friend at their Ajax location and we may have over-indulged, but it was hard to resist all the goodness featured on their menu. As we dined, their robot passed our table several times, delivering dishes to other tables, including things we could/should have ordered. It all looked so good! Our over-indulgence included too many dishes to mention but they included sushi, sashimi, udon, tempura, maki, dim sum, and much more. Of course, we had to have some desserts - fried bananas, puddings, ice cream, and more! We were so stuffed, and happy. It was an excellent meal, with delicious food, and excellent service!

Dine in at this restaurant, spend at least $50 on your meal, and get a $10 voucher off your bill till May 9, 2026. - This eatery has an all-you-can-eat ice cream bar! This past Monday evening, I broke out of the house to have a dinner feast with a friend. We ordered a lot off the menu, guilty of eating with our eyes. I used to drop by this eatery maybe fifteen years ago fairly often. It was nice to return. I had no problem finding a parking spot fairly close to the main entrance. I backed into a spot and walked into the restaurant. We got these drinks: - Sapporo draft 20 oz - Diet Coke Refills on pop are free. I certainly took advantage of it! So refreshing. We ordered these goodies: - Garden salad - Gyoza (dumpling) (2 pcs) - Beef skewer (1 pc) - Fried calamari (2 pcs) - Pork cutlet - Enoki beef roll (2 pcs) - Yakitori (chicken) (1 pc) - Negimayaki (beef) (2 pcs) - Squid tempura (5 pc) - Crab tempura (1 pc) - Siu mai (2 pc) - Thai chicken coconut curry - Spicy California roll (6 pcs) - Mushroom tempura (2 pcs) - Coconut shrimp (1 pc) - Chicken with bao bun (1 pc) - Har gow (2 pc) - Chicken with mushroom - Beef udon - Chicken teriyaki - Beef with broccoli - Dynamite handroll (1 pc) - Crab pizza (4 pcs) - Spicy Crab handroll (1 pc) - Spicy crab on chip (1 pc) - Grilled butterfish sushi (1 pc) - Crab sushi (1 pc) - Beef short ribs (3 pcs) - Beef steak Delicious food! I could rave for hours on how yummy everything was. I will spare you! Highlights: - This place does tempura well. Crispy, without the oiliness. - The Thai chicken coconut curry was excellent. It had a bit of heat and I dipped everything in that amazing coconut curry. - Any protein on a skewer will not disappoint. - Chicken and mushrooms was a comforting dish. - The two hand rolls were excellent! There was only one dish that wasn't great. It was the beef steak that was more on the chewy side. There's something for everyone at this eatery. I thought that I couldn't shovel any dessert after our feast. I saw the all-you-can-eat ice cream bar and my stomach ignored now full it felt. I'd return for the desserts alone. We enjoyed these desserts: - Fried bananas (2 x 2 pcs) - Ice cream (orange, cotton candy, cookies and cream) - Tiramisu cake - Mini macaroon - Coconut pudding - Mango pudding - Creamsicle pudding The ice cream bar is the perfect end to your meal. My friend said to put the fried bananas in with the ice cream, which tastes like a banana split. He was right! This place has a couple of sushi robots. One had a cat face, which brought a birthday dessert to someone celebrating that evening. The other one was shorter and didn't have any face on it. I used the washroom before I left. The circular mirror with flowers on the counter were nice touches. I had a great time. It was nice returning for a fabulous dinner with great company. (150)

The King Kalbi short ribs are juicy and flavorful, while the Tsubo Harami (marinated beef in ceramic jars) is unbelievably tender. The quality and seasoning of meat were great. The spicy shrimp was lovely. The miso salmon was nice and soft. The same clams were lacking a little flavour and there were no vermicelli. The fries, takoyaki, wings and cheesy corn were great. I was surprised to see takowasa. It was not bad but could use more of the crunchy veggies and more wasabi flavours. The bibimbap was meatless and could use more sauce but the rice and egg was perfect. They offered a good Melona variety. The creme brulee was ordered to torch and came in a legit ramekin but I wished the sugar crust was thicker. Great service and environment. I did find the seats a bit cramped especially when sharing the middle booth. We were reminded of the 1.5hr last call and 2hr seating limit a few times though. And also reminded that if we cannot finish the food that we should set it aside... Overall, happy to see a nice AYCE BBQ place make it further into Durham!

An ordinary dining experience at Odine…read more I'm quite disappointed with the overall evening I had, from the food to the atmosphere. The restaurant is in dire need of some love and care. It's dated and old with way too much signage. The booths are covered with taped flyers denoting tons of sales and specials. If you have to slash prices in your items and advertise so aggressively your business may be doing badly. Why is there an awkwardly placed drink fridge at the front door? There's signs of damage and disrepair all across the restaurant. It's in badly need of being fixed up and renovated. The bathrooms are filthy, cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere. The light switch is covered with grime. The air vent may be a fire hazard with the caked on dust. The food doesn't fair much better. It's average at best and priced too high for the lower quality of ingredients. I ordered the Maki Set which was coming apart before it got to my table. The Pad Thai tasted too sweet. The spring rolls and fresh rolls were the only two dishes I enjoyed. Savoury and delicious, and full of flavour. The only redeeming factor was the service. Friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. The servers do need a uniform though, I'm confused why one of them was wearing Adidas sweat pants. Sadly I don't think I'll be back.

We ordered a wonton soup, salmon avocado roll, beef enoki and rice. My husband really enjoyed the wonton soup. He said the wontons were filled with shrimp and chicken and he thought they were good. I ordered the beef enoki with rice as a gluten free dish and really enjoyed it. The beef enoki had a lot of flavour and they provided me with gluten free soya sauce and ginger to go with the appetizer and it tasted scrumptious and the service was pretty good. We shared the salmon avocado roll and it was really fresh and was well priced. Would we return? Possibly if passing through the area.
