Sushi Loca located in Downtown Summerlin is a beautiful restaurant with delicious japanese cuisine. The decor is very modern and the restaurant is spacious. The owner is amazing and staff super friendly. Every roll was made fresh and paired greet with the sake bombs! Definitely try the Loca Special!

The ambiance, service and food were delightful and delicious! Highly recommend the twin peaks roll. 10 pieces of deliciousness!

Upscale decor, fantastic service and fresh sushi. Must be our favorite sushi restaurant off the strip.

I wanted to love it - it's been here for a while. But alas. The good: elegant space, nicely-decorated for the holidays. Great location in DTS. The bad: Food quality: sushi wasn't good. Rice was very sticky and thick, fish tasted fishy. Also, the karaage was rubbery and not crispy. Service: seemed a bit dismissive, even though no one was really in there Price point: wayyyyyy overpriced, especially considering quality. This is some of the highest price points for sushi I've seen off-strip, and it's not worth it.

My third time here now. Went with my bestie on NYE. The interior is still as nice as I remember. Spacious booths, nice lighting and ambiance. Service was very friendly! Really appreciate the complimentary miso soup offered to us with our meal. I will say.. I was a little disappointed to hear they didn't have the seafood mango salsa available (it sounded so good!) .. instead, I got a seaweed salad and a Spider roll. My friend got the "stuffed tomato" which has no rice with spicy crab and spicy scallop inside, wrapped with salmon. I tried the stuffed tomato and it was sooo good! Now, the Spider roll is a classic... but I feel this is the best Spider roll I have had in town. I do understand this place is a little pricier but I feel like you get good portions and higher quality. I really do love this restaurant. Aside from a menu item not being available this time around, everything about my recent experience here was top notch. Food is delicious!

Located in downtown Summerlin sushi Loca is very clean. Service is friendly and helpful and food is delicious. Love this place.

The food is the tastiest sushi I have ever had in Las Vegas and I'm very picky because I'm from California! The service was impeccable one of the best I have ever experienced really hands-on and Personal! The ambience with a dim light in a black and red concepts with a little jazzy hip music in the background perfect! I highly recommend this if I could give it 10 stars I would and I'm not concerned about the price which really isn't bad, because you get what you pay for! People complain on here about the cost are just cheap! It's pretty fair price for the quality that you're getting. I highly recommend getting a bite here.

Amazing service and food. This was such an accommodating experience! The service was very fast and the inside of the restaurant is very pretty! Would recommend 10/10!

Thank you Cherry and James for the delicious dinner treat at Sushi Loca.

We had the spicy pork bowl, beef bulgogi, and various sushi rolls, and they were all satisfying. Friendly customer service.

Can someone explain to me why this place is so expensive. It is double what any other sushi restaurant is in Las Vegas. My yellow tail roll was six pieces and was 14 dollars. I went here bc I wanted sushi quick and order a few things. And it was $40 for a California roll and yellow tail roll, edamame, and free two miso soups.

Our new fantastic spot for great sushi! all our selections were amazing and fun to watch them make them! Beautiful location and it was fun hearing Japanese spoken again! Impeccable, friendly service! Will be back real soon!

Fish tasted disgusting and was odd in color. Made me sick. Only good thing is the miso soup. Besides that do not eat here.

I have never been to a sushi location that the service is this spectacular. Table always cleared away of empty dishes and the speed of how fast the food comes out is INSANE. Waiter comes to your table right away and ask for your order almost immediately after seating. The food and service is fast but you do not feel rushed to eat as fast as you can and leave. You don't get the feeling of them trying to rush you out. The ambiance of this place is on another level. I feel like I am at a club. So if you want a nice and quiet dinner this is not the place for you. But if you want to come with friends and have a good time then this place is a must try! Our waiter was Francisco and he is a freaking rockstar. Always on top of it making us feel welcome and comfortable. Explaining the entire menu and keeping everything on point. GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!

Not sure why this place is rated so high…read more I'd probably give this place around 3 stars overall. The food honestly wasn't that great compared to other spots in the area. It wasn't terrible by any means, but nothing really stood out and there are definitely better places if you're specifically craving Japanese food. What really bothered me though was the pricing situation. We came during their lunch AYCE hours, but because there was a festival going on that weekend, they decided to charge full dinner price instead. So I am docking off another point for the owners being greedy. Service itself was okay, just not enough to justify the higher price they charged us.

Chef Shuji runs the restaurant with his wife next to him in the kitchen. The fish here is flown in from Japan and of the highest quality as you can see from the sheen and fat marbling. The tuna melts in your mouth and bite after bite is a wonderful experience as you pair it with soy sauce, fresh Wasabi, yuzu Wasabi, or some combination of the condiments provided. This is also the first sushi restaurant I have ever been to that automatically brings out fresh Wasabi without having to ask. The portions are generous and we left feeling very satisfied. Even though we were very full, we took a look at the dessert menu. Not pictured here is a sweet potato with ice cream and brown sugar glaze. This dish on the menu was unassuming but the taste was so decadent. Quite possibly the best and sweetest sweet potato I have ever tasted. The chef slowly roasts them over a 2 hour period, rotating the potatoes every so slightly every 15 minutes. The sweet potato could be a dessert by itself, it was that good! Chef Shuji is a charming and funny host. He regularly comes out to greet his customers and makes sure they are enjoying their meal, very high-touch. If you know Japanese - even if it's just a few phrases, speak with him as he will be delighted. He was absolutely tickled when we said arigato and he shared that he is originally from Kyoto. You don't need to go to the Strip for Ari yeah!…read more Ari Sushi & Izakaya is a very well-Yelped restaurant in the southwest. I've particularly seen buddies post about it on Instagram a lot, and I finally made my way out there since I found that it aligned with my mom's food craving. I went for the Ari Ari Combo ($29.00). It started with a little bowl of balanced miso soup and a tiny side salad with fresh greens and a simple sesame dressing, and was followed by six thin but delicious sashimi slices and four basic but also solid-quality nigiri. I would be more than happy to come back try to more of their raw fish any time. If that doesn't sound like enough for lunch, I did share other food items. The Garlic Edamame ($7.00) felt a little less salted than I expected but was a good portion and had plenty of both a garlic sauce and crispy garlic slivers. I also helped out with a Bento with 3 items ($25.00): bulgogi, mixed tempura, and spicy tuna roll. The bulgogi was tender but not strongly marinated enough and the spicy tuna roll felt pretty standard, but I did really enjoy the shrimp tempura and the veggie tempura pieces which I tried. They were super hot and crispy while being cooked perfectly inside, and the sauce was perfect. The music was relaxing and not played at a very high volume. The restaurant is a little more dim than I'd like and could benefit from overhead narrow-angle lights, but maybe the food was just that good that the lighting wasn't so important. The server was happy to refill my complimentary water with lemon as often as needed, as well as to add more water to the Hot Green Tea ($4.00). I did try some of the tea, and it was potent and low in bitterness. I'm pleased to report that Ari Sushi really does offer delicious sushi, enough so that I'll probably have to make more trips from Henderson to try more of their menu. If you want high quality mid-price-range sushi that's not in an all you can eat format, this is a great place to look.
