The menu needs help, food is good. Close too early in the summer. Frequently go here because it is close to home.

The service was a little slow being that we were the only ones in there. We went Sunday at 2. But I stopped going here for the longest time because it use to be bad. But we went today and I'd say 90% of what we had was really good! It's 22 dollars for all you can eat, or you just pay by the roll. We will definitely go again only one Sundays because it's the only one open in Utah county. It was clean and the waiter was really nice about my son who made a huge mess. I offered to pick up after him but he said no I have kids I get it. That's really nice because some places give you dirty looks when your kids mess. But I always try to clean up and not make to much of a mess anyways. But ya we'd go back! I really liked the sunset and the New Yorker rolls

Sushi was really good, love the sauces that they put on top. The presentation is even surprisingly nice for an all you can eat sushi place. Loved it and will be back

    Inside! Yum! All were delicious!

We have been craving sushi for a while so we came here while in town. The place seemed ok, alright ambience, booth seats nothing too special but I was a little skeptical at first. We ordered draft beers and sake, but we got bottles instead but that's ok, I think there was a language barrier with the server, they were super nice but a couple of times I'd ask for something and they didn't understand me just smiled and walked away. That's ok. We were brought our miso soups in a plastic bowl with disposable plastic spoons.. I never had that served that way before, no tofu in the miso soup and it wasn't as good as I expected but it wasn't bad either. At this point I was getting a little concerned, however, they brought the appetizer, shrimp and veggie tempura, my fave, and to our delight, the low priced app looked amazing and was very fresh too!! I was super happy about that. They have a deal there, all you can eat sushi for like twenty bucks! So we tried six different rolls, they tasted fantastic, they were all really good! We definitely got super full, and the prices were worth it, just a different experience than I'm used to. We did get our sushi fix! Oh, yeah! They had an old school pay phone inside too, lol. Thought that was interesting!

We've been getting sushi to go since I broke my leg, they've been great! Chris is always so great to us. They're always working to improve the restaurant, the new paint looks great!

Plates were not clean; I had to sweep off something dried from one plate, and after I poured soy sauce on it and mixed in the wasabi I realized too late that what I thought was a mark on the plate was something dried on that started to flake off and mix into my soy sauce. The nigiri were warm. I am used to eating my sushi cold so this was unpleasant. And iffy... hoping I don't get food poisoning The rice wasn't sticky enough so every piece fell apart once I dipped it into the soy sauce and wasabi on my plate. And trying to gather up all the rice and seaweed that had scattered all over the plate was pretty difficult with chopsticks. The crab nigiri was extra tricky to eat as the crab pieces were so much longer than their rice base. The young woman who served me did not smile, rarely made eye contact, and mumbled when she spoke. This made me feel like an imposition rather than a welcome guest. The prices were very affordable ($12 for 3 orders of nigiri) but I would rather pay more and get better quality service and food. The server/hostess was not outright rude, just a bit standoffish. I will not return. There are other, better sushi places.

Those that I like have to meet a few requirements that I have for eating. I have celiacs, so i avoid gluten at all cost, including any moderate chance of cross contamination, Corn also bothers me so another food that I avoid. beyond that I am picky with what goes into my food and how the food is prepared. Now to the review. the first thing I do at any restaurant is ask about their gluten free options and about cross contamination. This was the first day that the Provo location was open, so I expected there would be blank stares. believe it or not that happens a lot. Here they knew about some of the food but not all of it when it came to my questions. So they went back to ask, "I want to make sure so let me ask". the next thing i knew I was speaking to the owner, going over all of the items and the options I had and what to avoid. He made some suggestions and we went ahead with our order. I got. the tri tip steak and my wife got gnochi. Oh another thing about how i like my food. I like the ingredients, steak, potatoes, vegetables, etc, seasoned and not the other way around. I find a lot of places over season their food. Not here. the steak, veggies, and mashed potatoes were lightly seasoned, just enough to enhance the flavor but not overwhelm the core ingredient. the steak was tender, the vegetables perfectly cooked and seasoned. I didn't even try and figure our what seasonings they used, I just enjoyed the meal. Short of this part of the meal, fantastic. With the gnochi, we had a little bit of an issue. There was a problem with how they were cooked, they were a little stiffer than they should be, but the sauce they were in was fantastic. BTW, they are not gluten free, so this is my wife's perspective. When they asked how our meal was we mentioned that to them. They looked at the gnochi and agreed. they then didn't just correct the issue, but went above and beyond. They asked if we wanted something else, made a suggestion since we couldn't decide and prepared that for us. They also did something else while we were there. They tried to make more batches of the gnocchi, not for us but so that they could see what went wrong. Then came back and told us what they had done and the results. The service was some of the best I have ever had. They had a good selection of gluten free options, depending on your sensitivity your options might change, but there are plenty of options and a few that are not on the menu. The owner suggested a burger on mashed potatoes, even though they have a gluten free bun. My gluten sensitvity is pretty high, so he was providing as many options for me as possible. All in all, I really liked the food, the service, and the attention to my food sensitivities.

Step inside and you will find a beautifully decorated space with an open kitchen greeting you at the entrance and a staff that is genuinely enthusiastic about the food they are serving. Ocotillo specializes in the cuisine of Sonora, Mexico, a region known for bold meat and seafood dishes. They also offer a daily brunch menu that is worth planning your weekend around. We ordered the tres leches pancakes, a triple stack that delivers exactly what the name promises. Bathed in a three milk mixture and topped with fresh berries and whipped cream, moist but not to sweet. The Sonorense combination was equally impressive. Arrachera steak strips, chilaquiles made with poblano chile, a tamal de elote, and two eggs. The arrachera was excellent and the chilaquiles were crispy, which is exactly how they should be and not something every kitchen gets right. The menu is long enough that choosing something different next time will be a genuine challenge. Omelettes, chilaquiles, brioches, and other specialties give you plenty of reasons to return. We are already looking forward to exploring the lunch and dinner menu. Slightly more expensive than a standard breakfast spot, but the generous portions and the quality of the ingredients justify every dollar. Five stars without hesitation.

Because I never get down this way, and I just happened to be in Lehi, looking for a place to eat, when I found PoPie on Yelp. I'm fond of meat pies, from my time in New Zealand and Australia, so I had to make the 20 minute drive to American Fork to try as much as possible. Verdict: I LOVED everything. Flaky crusts, delicious fillings, and the ratatouille pie was the biggest pleasant surprise of the lot; I've never been a big fan of ratatouille, but anytime it appears I think, "Maybe this one will be different." It was. Possibly because it was in a pie filling? Not sure. Was also pleasantly surprised by the Chicken Risotto. Good amount of black pepper, not overly salty, but plenty of flavor. The curry and cream pies, and the carbonara pasta are absolutely safe bets. Don't worry, I didn't eat it all in one sitting, I took a couple of bites of each item and called it good. ;) Hope to get my family down to try this place. I did drive thru, so not sure about ambience. Service was great.
