Against those establishments, it's mediocre +, but a number of local Japanese restaurants provide better selections and more attentiion to their preparation. My friend and I frequent sushi restaurants often (sometimes more than once per week). So we decided on the Spicy Combo Sampler, Scorpion and Dancing Roll. The management for Panda (across from Sushi Express) in the same food court, is same. If one gets crowded, you can see help running from the other location. Today I ordered Spicy Sushi Sampler (12 pieces of 3 varieties) for lunch (to-go). I didn't want California rolls (part of the sampler), so I tried to convince the lady taking the order, to give me 6 pieces of the other 2 varieties. She refused. I didn't find them flexible.
