Bulgogi, tofu stew, kimbap, Korean fried chicken, and dduckbokki
    Marcella S.

We were warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in, and the staff remained just as friendly until we left. We ordered the fried dumplings, tofu stew, bulgogi, galbi, tteokbokki, kimbap, korean fried chicken honey garlic and sweet and spicy sauce--everything was delicious, and we loved that all the dishes came out at the same time. The tofu stew was hands down the best I've had so far--definitely a must-try! The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, constantly refilling our water and side dishes (banchan) without us having to ask. There's also plenty of seating, quiet, and a great selection of refreshments to choose from.

First time here I ordered the Ddukgook soup it was a nice comfort soup, I also ordered fried dumplings delicious! The owner was very nice one interesting fact I found about was he is a mountain climber.

We have been here before and I would have given it 5 stars, but the new chef or whomever just overcooked everything! Arghhh!! For $95 (including tip), we got overcooked boneless Korean chicken. It tasted so dry and hard! My bibimbap hot pot, the rice was too hard and crisp. My husband's breaded pork was over fried and also hard to eat. My son's noodles, which I forgot to take photo of, he said they were fine. If I ever return here then I'm going to have to tell the owner/waiter to not over cook the food that much. Last year the meal was tasty and perfect. Last week was not good. Korean everything is trendy: South Korea for travel, Koren skincare, Korean entertainment, etc so a lot of Americans love Korea and this place could be rocking like the Korean restaurants in NYC and northern VA, but that Hispanic cook girl just ruined everything. Also if the prices were lower, this place would be super crowded & would need another waiter. The owner is too slow and befuddlded to do everything on his own. It's a shame!

Every couple years we retry the Koop. And every couple years we are disappointed. It's kind of expensive and everythjng we order seems slightly off. Tonight we ordered medium kimchee. That was good. Though a medium seems pretty small. The other two items we ordered were the denjang jigae and welsched onion chicken. We didn't enjoy either. We also asked for utensils but weren't provided any. We went there before and had wings and they were pretty good. I prefer Korealicious and will have to try the new place at the mall.

Came here for lunch. I was greeted by a kind gentleman at the front and was told a number to be seated at a table. He then came over with water and a cup and menu. Gave me a little time to decide. I have to say... for Korean food, the menu was a bit on the pricier side. The chicken was fairly priced, so I got that to try as I could easily make the other dishes at home. The boneless honey garlic chicken was good, crispy and nicely paired with the pickled radish. I would probably come back for the chicken. Other diners did get the bulgogi and bibimbap and they seemed to be pretty happy with their meals. Ambiance is nice. Interestingly decorated. I would come here if I needed to satisfy a Korean meal craving. You pay up front at the register after you're done. There is limited parking out front.

Korean wings with hot & spicy sauce, dumplings, Kim chi and pickled radishes.

Everything was delicious and the owner was very attentive and friendly. The Kim chi was really good, as were the pickled radishes. The wings were very tasty as well. Nice photos of his Korean mountain climbing team adorn the walls. I can't wait to go back and try the spicy pork trotters. It's BYOB, but he does have an assortment of bottled ethnic beverages as well as the usual sodas & stuff. I definitely recommend this place, it's delish.

Finally found my go-to Korean place! Food and customer service were amazing! Water and banchan (small side dishes) were refilled without having to ask.

KPot is truly a gem! The atmosphere is modern with urban vibe decor. It's a cool place. And the service is excellent, from beginning to end. Our server helped us select our broth and gave us newcomers a lay of the hot pot land. You can order your hot pot add-ins by tablet on table-- and the food comes out without delay. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed at which our tablet selections were delivered to the table. Now onto the food and drink. We ordered the strawberry lemonade and regular milk teas. The strawberry lemonade was sweet but not overly so- very refreshing. And the kiddos reported that the milk teas was delicious. Now- onto the hot pot experience, which was so much fun! For broths, we tried the tomato, miso, and the spicy tom ka gha, which were all packed with flavor. Yum. KPot has a wide variety of meats and add ins for your hot pot. We tried the ribeye, brisket, beef tongue, pork, lamb, shumai, goyoza, octopus, eggplant, ramen, potato, and udon noodles. The beef tongue and the lamb were my favorites. But there was much more to try, we really only scratched the surface. I should also add that along with the all you can eat hot pot, there is also a little buffet with appetizers, desserts, and sauces. The kiddos enjoyed the freezer with ice cream options. KPot offers an all around well done hot pot experience in a cool atmosphere with fabulous service. I am certain we will be back next time I'm in the area. I'd say it is absolutely worth a visit.

While fun, that combination can be overwhelming for first-timers--some guidance would have helped. The food was tasty overall, but most of the BBQ meats were bland unless you chose the marinated options. Sauces were definitely needed. There's an appetizer bar with fried foods, fruit, rice, and a salad and sauce bar, which helped round out the meal. Drinks were mediocre. Service and communication were the biggest issues. When we arrived, I informed the hostess of our party size and that the rest of my group was in the parking lot. When asked if we were on a wait, she told us there was no wait. Despite that, we stood there for about 15 minutes with no explanation while multiple groups who arrived after us were seated first. I eventually had to remind the hostess that we were still waiting. We were then taken to the party room, which had several open and clean tables. Instead of seating us at an open and clean table, they had us wait 3 more mins to finish cleaning a table that just left for us to sit at. Our server did the bare minimum--dropping off drinks and occasionally clearing plates. For a first-time experience with both hot pot and BBQ, it would have been helpful if the server checked in, explained the process, or offered assistance. Food runners were not particularly pleasant and didn't explain what dishes they were placing on the table. There was an 18% gratuity included on the bill and our server did not deserve it. Final thoughts: KPOT delivers variety and value, but poor communication and minimal service took away from what could have been a much better experience--especially for a large group. I might return with a smaller group, but with low expectations.

We ordered the bibimbap, pork mandu, seafood jeon (pancakes), japchae, Yangnyum chicken, and pork belly with cheese (I over order, every time, all the time ). The bibimbap and pork mandu I didn't try, but my cousin did enjoy it, the seafood jeon was delicious--seafood wasn't over cooked and it was not salty. The japchae noodles seemed a little over cooked, they didn't have the springiness I expect when I chew. Thr Yangnyum chicken was .. well, a little too breaded and fried and not what I expected at all. The sauce was a mix of sour and sweet salty spicy but not like a traditional Korean sweet and sour--I did not care for it at all (seemed Americanized?)--hard pass. The pork belly and cheese was amazing, imagine pork belly and chewy rice kicks in the most amazing not-too-spicy sauce paired with ooey gooey cheese. This alone was worth the trip! Soooo good. I just wished the baby was more cooperative during our dine in so we could have eaten more while it was piping hot. The amazingness of a few of these dishes really still makes this place five stars, especially with the awesomeness of a wonderful server/hostess/owner! I may not make it back here for a year or two but this place is definitely recommended for someone looking for Korean food.

By the way, "Kimchee" is not a misspell; it's actually the Korean spelling to the more popularized Japanese spelling, "kimchi".
