Amazing Kim chi! The food is very good and authentic tasting. Highly recommended if you're in the area and craving Korean. My entire family loved everything we had to eat, but the Kim chi was my favorite chi of all time. read more

We had to venture a 45 minute drive for some Korean food, albeit disappointed that they did not have any Kalbi on the menu anymore, the visit was still worth it. I believe Michelle (the owner) was our server, she is very personable and very sweet. They even have Hershey chocolates on all the tables so there are treats available for any of their guests. We ordered the bibimbap, pork mandu, seafood jeon (pancakes), japchae, Yangnyum chicken, and pork belly with cheese (I over order, every time, all the time ). The bibimbap and pork mandu I didn't try, but my cousin did enjoy it, the seafood jeon was delicious--seafood wasn't over cooked and it was not salty. The japchae noodles seemed a little over cooked, they didn't have the springiness I expect when I chew. Thr Yangnyum chicken was .. well, a little too breaded and fried and not what I expected at all. The sauce was a mix of sour and sweet salty spicy but not like a traditional Korean sweet and sour--I did not care for it at all (seemed Americanized?)--hard pass. The pork belly and cheese was amazing, imagine pork belly and chewy rice kicks in the most amazing not-too-spicy sauce paired with ooey gooey cheese. This alone was worth the trip! Soooo good. I just wished the baby was more cooperative during our dine in so we could have eaten more while it was piping hot. The amazingness of a few of these dishes really still makes this place five stars, especially with the awesomeness of a wonderful server/hostess/owner! I may not make it back here for a year or two but this place is definitely recommended for someone looking for Korean food. read more

this place is such a gem! After seeing their special was a bibimbap burrito, I figured they were more of an Asian fusion type joint but it ended up being quite authentic! Our takeout came with Korean complimentary side dishes (banchan) which I was not expecting at all. The flavors were SO good, perfectly spicy but not overwhelming. The meat was perfectly seasoned and not dry. The mochi ice creams were also great; I didn't have super high expectations for me but they were very delicious, especially the passionfruit one. It had a soft, sweet outer layer and tart ice cream. Yum! The best part of the visit was the lady working the counter - she was SO sweet and kind and gave us a water bottle for free. I wish I could give this place 6 stars just for her! I definitely want to come back and try dining in next time I'm in the area. read more

I've been hearing about Korealicious for a long time now. I finally decided I was going to drive the 45 minutes to check it out. I tried to order online, but I think there was something wrong with the website. I ended up placing my order when I arrived. The woman who greeted me was so sweet and welcoming. Based off the other reviews, I'm assuming she was the owner. It's not a huge restaurant, so I can imagine it gets pretty busy. Very clean. I ordered Kimchi Jeon and Bibimbap Burrito, but honestly wanted the entire menu! Not knowing how the food would travel on my drive home I decided to dig in immediately (Which ended up being the right decision because it didn't taste the same warmed up.). The Kimchi Jeon really is best when consumed straight from the kitchen. It's light, warm, full of kimchi and even better drenched in sauce. The burrito tasted as beautiful as it looks! SO much flavor! And so filling! I could taste the gochujang and loved having all of this wrapped up! Definitely worth the drive and can confidently say that I'll make the drive again and again, and again! Only giving four stars because I did take-out and want to try more! read more

In the back corner of the parking lot. There is a pickup area as well as dining in to the left. We came on a Saturday and it was fairly busy but no wait. We ordered hot tea which is like a green tea/rice tea that was very tasty. We ordered the seafood jeon as an appetizer. This is enough appetizer for at least 4 people. Very good with cheese. Like a seafood pizza. The yukgae jang soup was perfectly spicy and so great with the different meats and noodles. Loved it! The burrito was HUGE! So healthy and filling with sriracha and oil to dip but you will need utensils. It's a bit much to handle with hands. Service was fantastic. Overall excellent and worth a visit! read more

Fabulous lunch at Korealicious. Can't believe in all the years I've been eating here, I've never been for lunch! I always feel like I'm coming home at Korealicious, Michelle and her family are so warm and welcoming, thanks today particularly to Michelle, Britannia and Steffy. B and I shared the special appetizer Korean steak fries, that are more akin to Korean nachos with potato instead of chips. Thick fries smothered in pork belly, kimchi, scallions, carrots, cheese, sour cream and, we learned, Michelle's "secret sauce." Spicy, warm and filling; but not too much for a shared entree in addition. We chose the pork belly with kimchi. Served with fresh lettuce wraps, the belly and kimchi in more mildly spiced "secret sauce" (gochujang, bean paste, and secret stuff) were sumptuous, full of umami. Somehow stuffed it all in with bottomless cups of hot corn tea. Perfect for a cloudy and chilly May day. Lunchtime fusion food, e.g., burgers, burritos, etc., also available Tuesday through Thursday. , Michelle! read more

Had a late lunch here today. Our schedule changed and they were easily able to accommodate us coming at an earlier time, which was very nice. Central PA has a dearth of Korean restaurants, so we were happy to find out there was something not too far from home. We started out with veggie mandu, something I haven't had before. A little on the greasy side for me, but flavorful. The banchan was set down in front of us. I especially loved the pickled daikon and the cucumbers - so refreshing! I had bulgogi, served as a full set with lettuce leaves and ssamjang. It was delicious! The meal also came with a generous bowl of rice. The whole thing was very filling. Ended the meal with ube mochi. I'm actually not a huge fan of ice cream mochi, but since it was ube, I was tempted. It was very good. The only negative is something the restaurant can't help - they are definitely short-staffed right now. It look a long time to get someone to take an order for dessert and almost as long for someone to get us the bill. The food is definitely worth the wait for the bill, however, so I'd recommend this restaurant if you're looking for something different in our area. read more

Delicious food. Came here with my girlfriend, food was delicious. Service was awesome too! Kind and helpful!

This place was so yummy. They are located in a small shopping mall in Lemoyne by the Karns. We were there at a not very busy time so there were plenty of parking spots to choose from. It is BYOB so bring all the Soju! I had the bibimbap. It came in the traditional way still simmering in the stone bowl. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! My husband got a chicken dish that was equally yummy! If you like Korean food or want to give it a try, make sure to put this place on your list! read more

The best Korean food we've had in the USA (and we live near the largest Korean population in the country). Korealicious is just across the bridge from downtown Harrisburg. When you drive up, the strip mall its in will give you confidence you've stumbled upon a real gem and it is! It's a small restaurant, but where they lack in size, they make up in food and experience. The service is impeccable from the moment you walk in and the food even better. We ordered our dishes and it came out pretty fast. Here's what we recommend: -Bulgogi- It's not as intense of other shops, but the flavors are spot on. -Jajangmyeon- It's a noodle and pork dish with a sauce that will take you to another world. -Duk Boki- a traditional rice cake dish with a sauce that is like a spicy tomato sauce. It's really good and has an interesting texture. If you like Korean food, add this to your itinerary even if you're hours away. It's worth the miles! read more

Delicious doesn't quite do it justice. I'm definitely not an expert on whether cuisine is "authentic" or not, but whether it is or isn't, everything we ate was wonderful. They are currently offering dine in, but the food comes served in take out containers. They do have plates available on request (we had kids splitting an entree). We started with the Mandu and a kimchi pancake. The Mandu weren't overly exciting or flavorful, but they were fried to a crispy perfection. The pancake was loaded with awesome flavors and had a nice kick but not an overpowering one. Entrees were the rice cakes, pork, sweet potato noodles and bulgolgi. The least favorite was probably the bulgolgi. It was tasty, but a little too sweet. Overall, every dish tasted fresh and flavorful. We absolutely loved this meal. read more

Was over priced and whatever they call fried rice was more like frozen warmed up pilaf

I hate to do this but I have to drop this to a two star rating. My husband and I recently got takeout. I was TOTALLY disappointed. I chose kim chi fried rice for $11. It was rice with some kim chi, and stir fried with nothing but what appeared to be frozen corn, peas, and carrot cubes. It looked like someone went down to the local grocery store and grabbed bags of frozen mixed vegetables. I've had Korean fried rice with green onion, pieces of seaweed, and even red peppers. I've never seen it with corn and peas. There wasn't even an egg - a very traditional topping for Korean fried rice. I was completely unimpressed. The flavor wasn't stellar, either. I tasted no onion, no garlic, or anything else flavorful. It wasn't even spicy from the kim chi. Nothing about it was impressive. Particularly for that price tag. I could whip up the same dish, at home, for about $2 (or less). On a positive note, it actually tasted better cold. Hubby decided to splurge for the $20 pork belly. IT LOOKS NOTHING like the succulent port shown on their online menu. Instead it was super thin pieces of pork - maybe 1/8 inch thick - and about one inch high and wide - that appeared to be quick fried until dry and flavorless. It was served with plain rice and a few raw shreds of vegetables (carrot and green onion). The meat had ZERO flavor. Seriously, there was none. They sent along two containers with about a teaspoon of sauce in each one. One was sesame oil with salt and pepper, the other tasted like a hoisin sauce. I'm not joking about the teaspoon of each. There wasn't enough for more than two bites of food. If this is the pork belly sold at the Asian market in Harrisburg, there was about $2 (at most) in pork belly. For $20, it wasn't even enough for one person. In the end, we spent well over $30 on about $4 worth of food that had very little taste. I expect Korean food to be bright, pungent, and spicy. This was bland, bland, bland. I'm adding this to my "never again" list of restaurants. I'm really bummed because the first time I ate there I was impressed. Now, I'm just depressed. read more

Flavorful and suprising! Execellent service, we got a few rounds of banchan and the pickeled radishes and homemade kimchi is so good. We ordered the kimchi fried rice and bibimbap ( crunchy and flavorful) and the noodles with bulgogi. Everything was tasty and we got some mochi to go. Lychee mochi = the best! Ambiance... it is in a strip mall and very unsuspecting, but all the best places are. I enjoyed the murals inside and the mother of pearl crane and abalone masterpiece doors. Very authentic! read more

After hearing about Korealicious and its great food for years I was finally able to stop in. Nestled in the corner of a shopping center, parking can be a bit of a pain. But it's worth it. The menu has English translations and the server was more than willing to discuss any item on the menu we had questions about. She really cared about your experience at the restaurant, and made sure what we ordered was absolutely to our liking. The food was delicious! I like spicy food and beware the slice can slowly creep up on you. I would highly suggest the Korean wings (they're only available one day a week) to anyone who asks. read more

Korealicious is a must eat! Harrisburg has very limited Asian cuisine choices that are good, but Korealicious absolutely nailed it. As a Korean who misses eating homey food, I dropped by Korealicious almost every weekend while I stayed in Harrisburg and even made friends with the owners, who are extremely kind and gave us the best service. The spicy pork belly, chicken bulgogi, and kimchi stew are my favourites and reminds me of my mom's cooking back at home. This will be one of very few places I will miss now that I've left the area. Hopefully we will get to meet again Steve and Michelle, by then maybe I can catch a glance of your secret recipe read more

Korealicious is located in Lemoyne inside of a strip mall. But don't let that deter you. Owners Jane and Hakjoon Kang opened their Korean restaurant in 2013 and have a fusion menu like Korean Burgers, Tacos and Burritos as well as the traditional bimimbap (rice bowl), bulgogi (slices of beef/pork) and japchae (sweet potato noodles). My visit to Korealicious was my very first time trying Korean food. I'd been hearing about bibimbap for years and finally it was my turn. Bibimbap translates to "mixed rice" but the dish usually comes with meat and an egg on top, finished with red chili sauce. It's served alongside with kimchi. My bibimbap was brought out in a sizzling hot stone pot to entice all five of my senses. There were three little bowls next to the main dish: kimchi, radishes and cucumbers. After mixing everything together, and adding a few from each small bowl, I used my chopsticks and dove in. I loved the combination of flavors, and each bite offered me something new. I love spicy food but bibimbap can be adjusted for each individual. The owners are Korealicious are such lovely people. I truly enjoyed my visit and I highly recommend you try them out. read more

Absolutely delicious Korean food with a twist... I love when they have Korean tacos! The tofu option are delicious!

This is a very good Korean restaurant. It is a very small place, but the food tastes very delicious. I went there during lunchtime, it was very busy, and there was only one waitress. However, she managed very well. She knows everything about the menu and services. The food came out very quick even it was busy. I got the korealicious house fried rice. You can choose between shrimp, chicken, kimchi or vegetarian. I picked chicken for my opinion. The food came out very great. I was not sure what kind of sauce they used, but it was a very good combination mixed with the fried rice. It was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend! read more

So Korealicious does not claim to be authentic Korean food. It's fusion. I was not expecting an authentic Korean food experience, but I was still disappointed with what I found. I ordered the soondobu (tofu soup in a stone pot) and, while, if you had no expectations, it was a good dish. However, I the standard expectations for soondobu is different options of meats (pork, bulgogi, kimchi, etc) however Korealicious was unable to change ANYTHING about the soondobu. It was only their single recipe of seafood soondobu, which doesn't make sense because if you're making it for each customer- why can't you switch out the meat or add in kimchi? It's very confusing, and makes me question the quality of the recipe and cooking. Second, what the heck with the side dishes? Side dishes are as important of a part in Korean cuisine as the main dishes, and Korealicious basically had the same iteration of a side dish but 3 different ways, without much diversity. I really wanted it to be better, but since 2/2 major parts of my meal (side dishes, main dish) were disappointing and not worth the cost, I will not be returning. Service was great though. read more

What this place lacks in atmosphere it makes up with its owners' charm and excellent flavors. I've now been here 3 times and each time it was excellent. The first time was the Bibimbop, which was a scary, while exciting, mini cauldron of delicious food with a fried egg on top. My second time was the burrito (spicy chicken). A little overpriced for its size, but delicious. The most recent visit was Japchae an amazingly huge pile of noodles, veggies and beef along with kimchi and two other cold salads. Enough for two. Don't come here expecting a "nice" restaurant. It's a bit of a hole-in-the-wall and lacks decor and ambiance. That being said, the food I've sampled so far was great. read more

great korean restaurant in lemoyne. without considering the fact that the selection of korean restaurants in the area is pretty abysmal, the food here is actually really good. we got the spicy rice cakes with mandu and the pork belly, both of which taste amazing and pretty authentic. the staff were really nice and patient with us since we were taking our time looking through the menu. the vibes here were also great, it felt very personal and i really enjoyed my time here. my one gripe is that the prices on the menu are on the higher end, but when we consider the fact that this is the only korean place in town, it kinda makes sense. either way, if you want korean food in the harrisburg area, tell your friend, relative, or significant other that you know a spot. read more
