The house rice was seasoned and flavorful as well as the shrimp fried rice. I really enjoyed the tangerine chicken it wasn't as spicy as I wanted it but it lightly fried and flavorful. Now I love steamed rice this didn't taste like steamed rice just regular like boiled rice but it could have been the type of rice they used as well. The food itself is good so that's not the issue with this place. But the SERVICE is so slow, we waited (with our cups of water) for about it 20 mins before the ONE server finally made it to our table. (He was swamped taking orders, bringing checks etc to all the other tables) When he finally took our order it was pretty smooth sailing after that. But seeing as how we were STARVING, waiting that long for any kind of service was pretty upsetting. That being said, food came out hot and flavorful, and didn't take very long once the order was put in. We decided to try a new place since we've been exhausted on all of our regular Chinese spots. ORDERED: I had the honey chicken and tom yum soup while babe had broccoli beef. Both meals come with an egg roll. First, the Tom Yum was delicious. I love soups, so this hit the spot compared to other Chinese restaurants I have been in. This one had so much meat and seafood! I also tried the chicken wings, which are offered in different flavors. We opted for Lemon Pepper. The wings were really good and flavored well. I wish I would've ordered more of those. The honey chicken was good, more breading on it than I would prefer, but nonetheless it was good. The chicken was moist/tender so no complaints. The food comes with a plain fried rice. When I say plain I mean plain. If you want anything in the rice, be sure to order it, otherwise plain is what you will get. Not sure how I feel about plain fried rice...but moving right along... My date had broccoli beef and he was smart enough to order the extras in his rice (LOL). His food looked really fresh and came out piping hot and he had not one complaint. How he answered the phone like he just rolled out of bed and didnt feel like being at work that day. And the reason they are getting 3/5 stars is because the health inspection grade was 83. If you like Salmon Rolls (what they call Philly Rolls back home).. try the Yami Yami! Instead of the salmon being smoked and having that slight slime consistently they flash fry it.. it's very delicious. Both are apart of the sushi special. 2 Rolls for about $10. Oh if you like Shrimp Tempura Rolls I recommend the Wo Ai Nie! It's basically a Shrimp Tempura Roll with crabmeat added but they don't over do the crabmeat. It's just perfect. Philly roll has always been salmon and cream cheese at pretty much all restaurants. Even when you look it up.... It's salmon and cream cheese. I ordered 2 Philly rolls. When I started eating my food I noticed it tasted weird. I realize it had crab meat instead of salmon. I called and said my roll was made wrong but they were busy and called me back. Quality is declining! I use Uber Eats to order food from this restaurant. They typically have decent Chinese food at a fair rate. But as of late the quality of their food has declined significantly. I greatly enjoy Sushi but on two occasions the sushi I have ordered has been lackluster. My California rolls contained virtually no avocado. Also the roll had a very displeasing fish smell, despite it containing imitation crab meat. I was also told after ordering that they were out of butterfly shrimp (smh) so I then had to switch my selection. I opted for plain fried chicken wings which was a big mistake. I recently came here for Lunch when I was on this side of town. I have eaten here dozens of times in the past, even when they were at their previous place across the street, anyone who knows this, knows that was a long time ago. On this particular Tuesday, the place had about eight patrons (no, not Patrón tequila) and while dining here people were coming and going. My server during this lunch was Honey, or at least that is what the bill stated. Service was outstanding, she was very professional and throughout my meal double checked to make sure everything was great, even another staff member checked on me as well. For lunch I had the egg drop soup, Avocado salad with crab and Sashim. Although the crab is nothing more than Kamaboko (Surimi), it was still good. I really enjoyed the fresh Sashim, the chef did a great job. This place has always been very consistent for me and their service here is very attentive. There is a reason why they have been in business for a very long time; they are good at what they do. I would recommend them. Sushi China Cafe is one of my fav "hole in the wall" Sushi spots that I found in the Clayton Co area. The lobster rolls are amazing. They have 2 rolls for $10 dine in only, and their rice is really delicious. So the reason they received a 2 star is due to the fact that if I order 4 rolls regardless if they are all the same, how in the name do I get one wasabi.... Now the real kicker is that when I asked for additional they wanted to charge me $0.50... so I really like the food, I really like the service when I dine in, but I don't like being nickled/dimed, especially if I were to buy every item individually I would get a dab of wasabi - but I am not trying to be super petty, when I can just take my business elsewhere. Been here several times, and even though it hasn't been perfect every single time, over all, the food was delicious. This last time we went, they have updated their menu, and the sushi rolls we purchased, were simply amazing! The Triple Crown meal was the best Chinese we've ever had since moving to the area. The service was excellent, though I did observe someone's order being wrong and the guy delivering the food said, "that's not a problem?" BUT, the female waitress saw the meal, noticed it was wrong, and took it away. It was fixed quickly. As I was looking at the previous reviews, I knew I had to try this place out. A good friend of mine wrote a stellar review about this place. I came here the day after Christmas during their lunch hour. Obviously, the place was packed and to my surprise there was only one waitress handling the tables. She did have some assistance with the bus boy, but she was the only one taking the orders and bringing out the food. I decided to dine in. I opted to get the beef and broccoli lunch special. Not only is it my favorite, in my honest opinion you can't go wrong with beef and broccoli. The lunch special had an option of egg drop soup or wan tan soup. Apologies to the Chinese population, I think I misspelled the other soup. I don't eat pork so I got the egg drop soup. Delicious and just enough. When my main course came out it didn't disappoint. Packed with flavor, not too salty, and at a good temperature. I will be back again to try their sushi. Granted I should have tried that in the first place, but I am a creature of habit. This place is 5 stars in regards to the food and customer service but they need to hire more servers for this restaurant. read more

Initially I thought I was in good company upon visiting this establishment. I was wrong. Their customer service is horrible, no eye contact or descent conversation. I've been there twice on separate occasions and it's the same Italian guy upfront who has the worse attitude. I've even visited on a different occasion doing Door Dash, it takes them almost 20 minutes to get the order, mind you, the customer has already called and paid in advance. They put DD customers on the back burner and they've already PAID! The food isn't that great either which explains why no one is hardly in there.
