    Fried Chicken and Fried Rice

Prior to my recent visit, I hadn't been to this location in such a long time. I recently took my sibling to this location because she wanted some good Chinese food. This restaurant is a literal hole in the wall. It doesn't have a fancy set up and that's okay for me. I got the fried chicken and rice combo. The cost of the food was under 10 dollars, which isn't bad at all. My sister got her favorite shrimp egg foo young. She stated it was very good and not too greasy. I did notice they had a change of ownership since the last time I had been there. The only reason I am deducting a point is for the health food score. I am particular, but they should have a A score and nothing below that. This place still has good food and they give you a lot for seconds.

Every time I come home to visit, I stop by here for their tea. However I decided to go ahead and eat lunch on this visit. The lunch items come with your item of choice, fried rice (I substituted for white) and a soup. The hot and sour soup was absolutely delicious . . . With that said, I should have stopped there. The rice was dry and the meat was bland. My mothers "fried rice" was yellow rice with some onions (which was bland). My mother said that her meat was tender however it lacked flavor. Usually I get the tea and wings . . . Next time I'll stick with what I know and get some soup on the side.

They've stepped it up lately hunni. The last 3 times I've been have been delicious I made it in time for lunch today and I'm glad I did. Wish it came with a egg roll but it's worth the price.

I remember this place from a while back and I tell you now it's nothing like how I remember. Let's start off with the fact that I asked for house fried rice with no vegetables and I drive 40 minutes to get home to find out that there's 90% vegetables and 10% rice. I'm leaving this up here so next time I go up there (if theres a next time) I needy whole meal free .

Very nice people. Great food. Good prices. The place is made for takeout but you can eat indoors. And it's clean.

Once you park and step inside it's such a cheesy mom & pop business overly decorated in Thai decor. The restrooms are ALWAYS clean. This is not fast food, you will wait a little while even 15-20 mins for takeout, but it's worth it. My favorite spot on the Southside. I first discovered this restaurant while in Real Estate school at Barney Fletcher. Most evenings we tried to hurry and find close dinner options. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. It can add up to over $40 if you're greedy ordering several items like an appetizer + entree + dessert. I've eaten on my leftovers maybe 2-3X. No exaggeration! The best dish I've had is Naam Khao (crispy rice w/ fermented pork bits, fresh veggies and wrapped in lettuce) and Laos spring rolls (crunchy) . Thai tea overly sweet so it's best when watered down from the ice. Mango sticky rice is a purple color and yummy as well. Unique earthy taste, but still sweet and on par. I will drive 20-30 mins bcos I crave it sometimes. Everyone I've introduced to this place are fans on the first visit. I almost want to gate keep! lol

There were lots of fresh veggies and the sauce was savory but slightly sweet. Not spicy. My husband ordered a bowl of noodle soup. I cannot remember what it was called but he liked it. Again, very large portion.
