Initially I thought I was in good company upon visiting this establishment. I was wrong. Their customer service is horrible, no eye contact or descent conversation. I've been there twice on separate occasions and it's the same Italian guy upfront who has the worse attitude. I've even visited on a different occasion doing Door Dash, it takes them almost 20 minutes to get the order, mind you, the customer has already called and paid in advance. They put DD customers on the back burner and they've already PAID! The food isn't that great either which explains why no one is hardly in there. I have been coming here for a while and have supported the business .I come here so often , the employees know me by name and my order. Today the manager took my order and did not send it in correctly . I repeated the order to him many times . So I get there and the order isn't right . I asked for light Mayo on the sushi roll . So the sushi comes out with a lot of mayo. Then he explains that he told the cook to add less mayo but it wasn't on the ticket so it's ultimately his fault . So they took food back and said he would have to remake . I had already waited 25 minutes so I decided not to wait and come back later because I did not want to wait another 25 minutes . So I try again later and called in order. Normally, they take payment when you get there but the manager wants to now take the payment over the phone because of his error earlier . Sushi China Café was one of my favorite Chinese food spots when I went to Clayton State University. The food is pretty good. Their combination lunches and dinners give the best value, because they come with a soup, egg roll, chicken wing or crab ragoon, and a large entrée, for under $10. They also have a large sushi selection. The service is also usually pretty good when I come here. On my recent visit, I did not like my entrée, because I misunderstood the way that the chicken was prepared, and the waiter took it back and prepared an alternative option with no problem. I prefer sautéed chicken over the breaded pieces. The teriyaki chicken, or the Mongolian flavored chicken or beef is usually really good. I also recommend the Egg Drop soup too, they do a pretty good job with it. I like mine with the diced green onion, and wontons. My favorite entrees are the Mongolian beef with broccoli and rice or the braised wings with rice. In sum, I definitely think they are one of the more enjoyable Chinese restaurants in the Morrow area. read more

Okay so I went to this place on the advice from the Hampton Inn desk manager. It was in a small strip mall. I went in and was greeted by some friendly people. This is a family owned joint. In fact, the sushi chef turned out to be the owner. He told me that his sushi chef was off on Mondays. The sushi was out of this world good. I have patronized this restaurant fot over 4 years and it seemed that the pandemic has affected the quality of the food that it is now being served at this restaurant! I had the spicy chicken which wasn't spicy are flavored very well and beef lo mein. The lo mein was very greasy and I hardly could get it down. I also ordered crab rangoon which were hard and not palatable. My mother had the sesame chicken that was hardly identifiable and her her critique tasteed just as horrible. Both the fried rice and chicken we're greasy. She ended up throwing the entire dish in the garbage. I did try a piece of it and must admit, I've never tasted sesame chicken like it and hopefully I never will again. In fact, I find it comparable to some of the Japanese steak houses in the area. I do need to note that I said in the area. Morrow is not Atlanta or Gwinnett. If you are in the south side and you need sushi this is definitely a safe and good place to go. It isn't "special" sushi but it will hit the spot and you will probably pay quite a bit less than you will at some other places. The Chinese on the other hand, is great and at this price point, its probably some of the best I've had. I have a weakness for hot and sour soup and this is an especially good bowl. The staff is attentive and friendly. My drink never got empty and they checked on me several times throughout my meal to make sure that I was happy.
