We walked up to a straightforward counter setup within the busy food hall, where the menu offers a good variety of traditional Korean comfort foods that make it an easy place to grab a quick meal while shopping or if you are craving something simple and filling. The shared seating area nearby makes it convenient to sit and enjoy your meal, though the overall experience is more about the food than the atmosphere. We tried a variety of the snack items, and overall the food was decent. The kimbap was freshly made with a good amount of filling, the rice holding together well and the vegetables and meat adding a balanced texture. The tteokbokki had a flavorful sauce with the chewy texture you would expect, and the heat level was noticeable without being overwhelming. Everything tasted well prepared, but nothing particularly stood out enough to make us want to go out of our way to order it again. The menu has enough variety that there are plenty of different items to sample if you are visiting for the first time, and the portions are reasonable for a snack stop. The food came out fairly quickly during our visit, and the staff were friendly, making the process feel smooth and efficient. BOON by Mukshidonna is a solid option for Korean street food inside H Mart. The food is enjoyable and offers a nice selection of popular snack dishes, though the pricing felt a little high for what you receive. If you are already at H Mart, it is a convenient place to stop, but it is not necessarily worth a special trip. The quality is consistent for a quick bite, and the variety across the menu gives you room to try different items on repeat visits, though the overall experience is more about convenience than standout flavors.

The owner (whom I presume is the owner) was SUPER inviting and always has suggestions. Glad his beautiful establishment is on the south shore we need more spots like this. We ordered the pork chop rice plate and the pork rib / 3 protein pho. Now how i would describe i is a "healthier" version of the dish in taste, others may think it's a tad on the lighter/blander side for the broth compared to home cooked or other competitors. Meat was fall off the bone tender. They have a house blend fish sauce and accommodating side dips per dish. He'll let you know the best way to eat the dish if you're not sure. The rice dish, the porkchop was massive and cooked perfectly! Enjoyed it very much! My rice (i should have probably opted for the broken rice but i chose regular white rice, which I believe was older rice, a bit clumpy/hard. The side soup pairs well with the dish so i appreciate that a lot. They also brought us tea which was perfect on a rainy day! Overall I'll definitely be back. Different take, i appreciate the lighter style of viet cooking, but many probably know it for its bold flavors. Pricing is on the higher end of the spectrum but you do get your portions worth for the money. Viet food i believe should cost more compared to some of their counterpart asian cuisines! Beautiful dishes should get the spot light.

Despite the fact that there were not yet any Yelp reviews listed on this profile, when I visited in 2025. This isn't your regular American seafood market. 1 - they cook here, so you can order your fish raw to cook at home or they'll cook it up for you for a fee. You can also order something off their menu. Speaking of which 2 - they are Vietnamese, and the menu shows it. What other seafood market are you going to be able to order your fresh seafood cooked with ginger and garlic , salt and pepper, or with tamarind sauce? 3 - that catering menu includes options such as Vietnamese fried rice, snails (coconut or with salted egg yolk), rice paper salad, and Vietnamese egg rolls. You can also get your fried seafood here, served with fries and cole slaw. Softshell crab is a rarity to see on a fish market menu, or so it seems to me. I would go to the original Brookline location but this one is a little easier for me to get to. My go-to is the OG miso ramen, It's very rich and hearty, leaving you quite satisfied after eating. If you want a "cleaner" flavor, then shio is a good choice. The portions are rather generous and they don't skimp on the toppings. You actually get a 1/2 egg included, which is becoming rare these days. The karaage (fried chicken) isn't the crispiest I've ever had but it is really flavorful and tender. The marinating and using boneless chicken thighs lends itself to having those two traits. Service is generally friendly and prompt. The area inside is a little dark, and uses artificial lighting to stay somewhat bright, but it's fine. This is a less cramped space than the Brookline location and since it's in a strip mall, there's parking. The area is rather devoid of ramen shops, so this was a much-welcomed addition.

I started with the Gyoza. The owner/chef advertised these as home-made, and it definitely shows. The dough is delicate, and the meat and vegetable inside are balanced and nicely seasoned. I think there are a few glass noodles thrown in for texture as well. The Dolsot Bibmbop was great! It came out on a sizzling, hot stone bowl and had flavorful and tender meat and a wide assortment of veggies. Everything was cooked just right, and had a spot-on amount of seasoning/salt/spice. I also loved how the rice on the hot stone came out with a lovely crunch! Finally, we eat with our eyes (though some Yelpers eat with their cameras) and visually it was colorful, and could beat out some works of contemporary art, if I may say so! Where it comes to the Banchan, I am much less thrilled. All but one of these had a hefty dose of an overpowering, fiery, and heavily acidic sauce. Thus, it made 4/5 of these variations on a theme. Service-wise: When I visited, it appeared to be a one-woman army. One person appeared to be the owner, chef, and server in one! She was friendly, kind, and there wasn't a hefty wait for the food. On the flip-side though, doing my research I find that some questions were left unasked. This includes if I wanted to gyoza steamed or fried, and what protein I wanted with the bibimbop. Value-wise, I find their prices are reasonable, especially considering the filling portions. Thus, while nothing was mind-blowing, I found the food tasty and authentic and the value reasonable. While the service was very welcoming, it would've been nice to have been asked about the options in the menu. Last, the Banchan was enough of a miss that if I return, I will ask to skip them.
