Theres mixed reviews for this place but overall I had a great experience here. I Walked in and waited no more than 10 minutes and it was BUSY. The girl behind the desk was multi tasking and super nice and professional. Food was great. Quality fish and fresh avocado. Will be back again and definitely recommend.

Delicious food and top notch watchful service every time you go. Went on a busy Saturday and they still had tables available probably because they're so expeditious and organized. Tables are always close together and not much privacy but go at an off time if that bothers you. Ambiance matters too sometimes. I noticed that they never play music here.

Come with an appetite and prepare to devour great sushi and other unlimited plates! For around $30/pp you can get soup, various tempura, rock shrimp (one of my favorites) and even red bean ice cream as dessert! If sushi isn't your thing or you aren't as hungry, they do have an a La carte menu to choose from. Be prepared to wait a bit if you come on the weekend, but it's so worth it!

This AYCE sushi spot unfortunately won't be one that I will be returning to. The price itself is reasonable at $31 per person (reasonable with the current times as prices increase). I came to eat and the wait was actually quite quick at a busy time. The main problem however, was the large amount of rice for each piece of sushi. Usually I'm okay with the rice, however, these pieces were filled with so much rice to the point of not even being able to pick it up in a single piece. If you look at the photo, the ratio of fish to rice is completely off. Chunks of the rice would fall off when I picked them up. It definitely seems to be done on purpose to prevent people from eating more sushi or for them to have to pay for leftovers because they didn't know they would have such huge amounts of rice. I took some of the rice out and someone in the staff (maybe the owner) looked at it and told us that we'd have to either eat all the rice or pay for leftovers. I don't mind paying for leftovers, but it just seemed like a cheap ploy by putting in so much rice and then telling people about their policy. I felt pretty uncomfortable here and just couldn't wait to leave. If you do choose to come here, just be aware that the rice added to the sushi pieces are a lot. Be prepared to either order less pieces (even though it's AYCE) , or eat them all or pay for extra.

I was really excited to see that there was an AYCE (all you can eat) sushi spot located in Eastchester! I live in the Bronx so for a quick drive out to be able to enjoy ayce is awesome That being said from walking in there is a decent amount of indoor seating. And they are very clean. After every costumer leaves they clean the table and the seating area with alcohol based cleaning products. As for the service people were polite and the food came out in a timely manner. Even in the instance when someone had a lot left over and had to pay extra for the wasted food, the manager was very polite and took time to explain and make sure the customer understood. I did wish someone came in the beginning to at least explain the menu but since someone arrived before me I figured they already said we would be doing ayce. (They have regular menu as well though pricing is far better for ayce) For the food (the most important part lol): I ordered roughly 20 sushi, 5 rolls, 1 special roll, and about 20 sashimi. The fish was fresh and presentation was standard and good. The order came out accurately to what was marked on the paper for the most (we marked a lot all at once). If there's one complaint I have it's that the sushi fish to rice ratio was far off balanced. I felt the fish was on the thinner side but the rice was HUGE! And it constantly fell apart as I tried to eat and dip in soy sauce (and I'm a veteran I would say in handling chopsticks and eating sushi). Of course I expected a bit of this because it's all you can eat but I still felt it was too severe. I had to take some rice out as I ate the sushi. Thankfully there was no extra charge for the leftover rice. I would have given 4 stars but the one thing that bothered me is that while staff were all masked and the store seemed clean, no one checked vaccination even a single time for any customers I saw walking in. Have to say at a time like this when the virus is highly contagious and it is an eating venue, according to the mandate I would consider vaccination checks as necessary and proper to uphold.

All you can eat sushi houses will never be high end. You don't come for the ambience, service or enlightenment. You come because you're hungry, really hungry. There's something fun about ordering everything and anything from a sushi menu - even when the sushi is mediocre. Sushi is average but fresh. Service is basic, not rude just matter-of-fact. Customers always look happy - lots of casual birthdays, dates and young people with big appetites. This is really a 3 star restaurant that earned an extra star for being all you can eat. Pro tip - hand rolls are better than cut rolls. I honestly don't know why but they consistently are.

First visit here. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall with parking in front. I visited with a small group at 3pm on a Monday. There were barely any people here. The interior is dark, with the only windows located in the front. We sat by the window, where it was warmer then the rest of the place, it didn't seem like there was any cold air coming through the vent above us. The AYCE is $29.95 on a weekday. They give you two AYCE menus to choose from, the menus are a bit confusing because some selections are served individually while others are multiple pieces. Your order is then prepared and bought out to your table. The presentation of the appetizers leaves much to be desired, and the fried appetizers were over breaded & oily. The tempura vegetables were overcooked & mushy under the thick oily breading, and the salmon & octopus dishes were both over cooked & overly sauced. The seaweed & kani salads were okay. The mushroom soup was meh, the broth was watery & the mushrooms were added to the broth raw. Honestly it might be better to skip the appetizers all together & go straight to the main menu. The main menu had a decent selection of sashimi, maki rolls, and various sushi. Many of the rolls were the same ingredients presented in a different way and despite being prepared after you place your order, the rolls weren't served hot or warm. Overall, I found the rolls to be ok for buffet style sushi. The rolls are served on a platter with a mild probably store bought greenish colored wasabi paste & pickled ginger. One plus is that they did have a decent amount of seafood to rice ratio. They offer you green tea with your meal which is included in the AYCE, but it's watered down. The dessert menu is a selection of ice creams, my favorite was red bean, it had bits of red bean in it giving it a little texture which I like. They also serve some alcohol here for those that want to know. We spent a good 3 hours here, stuffing our faces until it was hard to move, the service was good, and the waiters were attentive. My personal star chart: *Not worth the effort. **Okay food & experience. ***Good experience. ****Greater than good. *****Exceptional quality & service. Helping Yelping!

I've been to sushi castle quite a few times and they never disappoint. Sushi is always fresh and tasty. They have a great assortment of apps including a delicious kani salad and loads of other options. Their menu for sure beats other AYCE spots with the variety. For sure worth a try. Customer service is pretty good as well and they are speedy.

Mango roll, shrimp tempura roll, I forgot the other 2 but all were delish!

The food is great and the location is also good. The staff are nice, but the food is overpriced and the restaurant seems a little cramped.

It also comes with soup or salad, and I always choose the salad. The food was fresh and tasty, and the restaurant is clean and pretty spacious inside. If you work nearby and have a lunch hour, this is a great spot to grab a quick bite and even squeeze in a little shopping since Haiku is located in a shopping plaza with LOFT, Chico's, and a sneaker shop. For starters this place is smaller and feels a little bit more crowded in on one another. The food however was very good. I think there is a slight language barrier today because I asked for my Crispy Shredded Sechuan beef extra spice but they left out the heat and made it extra crispy. Nothing that some hot sauce didn't cure. But it was excellent. I'll know better next time to make sure that they get my request correctly . This is not an inexpensive meal. One soup, two entrees, two glasses of wine and a beer - just around $120 with tip. Well worth it. I'll be back when I'm not closer to the other location.(more room)
