There was ample seating with lots of young people sitting & chatting, some were on their computers. When I looked at the menu, I was immediately drawn to their Brown Sugar Latte. This was something that looked pretty unique to this spot. So, I ordered right away. When I got my iced coffee and took my first sip, I loved it. The Brown Sugar Latte had the perfect amount of sugar/milk/coffee combo (in my opinion). I tend to like my coffees with milk and sugar, so this really hit the spot for me. There was no need to add anything extra - it was great the way it was. You can really taste the brown sugar flavor, which was an extra thumbs up. It was perfectly iced for my walk out into the heat. The space was clean and the staff were attentive. I then made my way over to the bakery and restaurant side. The signs make it very clear to understand the breakouts. If you are ordering pastries and coffee you will be on one side, whereas, if you are looking to order off the menu with full service, you will be on the bar side. Nichole's is a well oiled machine. The setup is easy to navigate and the concept is unique. Blending pastries, coffee, cakes, cooking products, wine, breakfast, lunch and dinner into one space is magnificent. I loved my intimate dine in session ordering the avocado toast on sourdough bread with an over hard egg and an orange hot tea. It was the perfect blend and was the best avocado toast I ever had. My belly was far too full after brunch so I went to the bakery side after and bought a chocolate raspberry muffin (also the best muffin I've ever had), chocolate chip cookies (darn near ate them all in one setting) and poppyseed thumbprint cookies with a raspberry filling (jaw dropping). We ordered a couple donuts and an espresso. My son enjoyed the cinnamon sugar and maple. We liked how much icing they put on the donuts. Didn't love the espresso - I'll probably try the regular coffee next time. I was about to order the cream filled donut but someone grabbed it next to me and that was the last one. The coffee taste like chalk, maybe straight creamer, I'm really not sure. All it was, was a vanilla ice coffee and it was not drinkable. My husband got charged a $1 extra for syrup with his waffle, we sat down at the bar and there's a carafe of syrup for him to use for free instead. Odd. Bacon was definitely microwaved too. Fun concept, just not happening here.
