Someone POKE me, because I must be dreaming up how good these dang poke bowls are!! Ugh, I've been told for several years now that I needed to try a poke bowl and how good they are, and I am indeed mad at myself for not listening sooner. This couldn't have been better, to me. I've only had 2 poke bowls so far, but this one was by far the superior. I'm all about having the right balance in any food or drink I try, and this was exactly how I wanted it. I got shrimp for my protein and went to town. And the spicy mayo, one of my obsessions, just really rounded out the meal because it's actually quite spicy, but again not too much- it's all about those ratios, baby. I took a bunch of my family members here who were first time poke bowl triers, and they were all easily persuaded. We shared a couple bowls between all of us and there were zero leftovers. I told her to suprise me, and told her there is nothing I don't like. She proceeded to ask the questions, which I answered, but wish people would take complete control when I tell them to. Otherwise pretty good. Price was high for the rice and fixings but I would do it again for sure. I did the spicy salmon bowl, and it was flavorful! I would have liked some texture, but overall I think the experience is something you need to do when you are in Fargo! read more

I've been a consumer of PB since it opened. The food quality & selection has remained pretty consistent over the duration. The customer service is total trash. With as many times as I went, I built up a considerable number of rewards points. About six months ago I was told that the system was no longer functioning - after I placed a big order with the intent of using some of the reward points. Nothing was done as a show of good will by the operators. I'm still kicking myself for letting them off the hook for that but now they have a new rewards system so everything I had accrued got flushed. It's clear they don't care about even loyal customers so don't be surprised if you go & have an average or below average experience. read more

I've been to quite a few poke bowl places, and this one is average. I would recommend just getting the basic, maybe add another protein ($4) but .50 per additional topping wasn't worth it to me. I added an adult beverage and the total cost was $24. So just be careful! Staff was friendly food was ok. If I had a serious poke craving I would go back. read more

Saturday early dinner time and the place wasn't busy. The girl working there had an odd affect and didn't smile or really say anything. Didn't reply to "hi! How's it going?" Just blank stare. Food was ok, but not best poke I've had. There is much better poke by the hospital (sanford west). Disappointing as we don't have poke in our town. Didn't go in back seating area so can't comment on ambiance. read more

Quality Poke' that did not disappoint! I often travel throughout ND, especially to Bismarck, and there is nothing for poke'. When i yelped the place, i was a bit hesitant, because all Poke' ive ever had was in Hawaii....and nothing can beat that. Well, the Poke' Bowl definitely surprised me with their Ahi Poke'.....It was fresh and flavorful, which left me wanting to come back for more. read more

Wonderful wonderful. Love everything that these guys do. The only downside is the small array of options to add to your bowl. I've been to many poke restaurants and they all seem to have 3-4 times as many options to add to your bowl. This is the smallest selection I've ever seen. Would love to see pineapple, mango, onion, jalapeño, corn, carrot, tomato, and a LOT more sauces.. they only have one or two sauces now and I would love to see a broader list of sauces. Alas! My first Poke Bowl. I've been wanting one for soooo long. I was not disappointed. This is a to-go place as Covid is still around - currently you can take your bowl outside if you so choose. There are some small sidewalk tables. So....since that was my very first poke bowl I am not an expert. However, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize that a Poké bowl is very healthy - or can be very healthy - and costs a lot less than sushi rolls. The friendly counter workers were great, they wore masks, so I felt very comfortable ordering. The gentleman making my poke bowl explained all the steps and basically, you pick all your own toppings. I chose rice with Sriacha mayo-tuna- edamame- pickled cucumber- avocado- fish eggs- seaweed- and gosh I don't remember. But it was delish!!! I didn't give 5 stars because they felt the tuna could have been more firm- but it had a beautiful rich red color as it should. Just slightly softer than I prefer. I will be back for more! read more

Good bet for lunch downtown in Fargo. You get a lot for your dollar here, $9 for tuna on rice with all the sides you want. I asked to double up on some of them (seaweed salad, scallions), and they happily obliged. Service is really friendly - I think they are all Thai here. It had been years since I'd spent time downtown in Fargo, and this place struck me as a nice addition to the options. This is my favorite place to eat in Fargo for a couple of reasons. 1. It's not a regular chain restaurant. It has vibrant flavor and is locally owned. 2. SEAFOOD. It is cheaper, faster, and more convenient option than most places downtown Fargo. It's a chipotle (the restaurant) style place, so if you want to sit down and talk for awhile, you can. Otherwise you can get in and out within 5 minutes! 3. The atmosphere in the restaurant is vibrant. The inside is colorful with lots of seating and offers outdoor seating as well. The music is always great and has great artwork displays on the walls. I continue to go here most days during my lunch break and will always recommend people to come here! read more

YUM! A bowl can easily be made vegetarian or vegan and they are always super helpful and friendly. The tofu bowl with the regular sauce and all the veggie toppings is delicious and very filling for only being like 11$. read more

Sorry but this place is crap. Yeah ok so they have fresh tuna, small tasty scallops, but they could have more options for veggies. You get to pick between wet or dry seaweed, very thin soggy slices of cucumbers, edamame, little green onions??? and some little sprouts of some sort. She said they were radish sprouts. Ok so I don't get slices of radish, just the sprouts? The salad base is plane lettuce. You don't get green salad like spinach or arugula, you don't get options for broccoli or green peppers or whole peas in the pod, or any good veggies at all. The utensil they use to put the "veggies" in your bowl is literally the tiny little pincher you use for the cheese at a salad bar. ONE PINCH of each. ONE PINCH. I payed almost $10 for a bowl of plane lettuce and a pinch of seaweed, edamame, and some kind of tiny little sprouts. The only thing that was good about this bowl was the fresh tuna. Not worth it, I would have gotten a greener, crunchier, tastier salad with lots more veggie options at Subway for maybe a dollar or 2 more. These people could also charge more if they improved some things. Sorry but I was not impressed and will never go back. read more

I love poke bowl it's delicious!! I eat there at least twice a week. The only thing I don't like is the inconsistency in the amount you get. Sometimes I get less than half a bowl and sometimes it's a full bowl. It's different every time so it's kind of annoying to never know how much you're going to get. read more

YUM YUM YUM! I've been here plenty of times and honestly, just writing this review makes me want to go pick up a bowl right now. It's downtown and is the front part of the entrance into the Wasabi sushi restaurant. You get a DECENT portion of fish (I always go for the ahi and salmon) along with your toppings (for no extra cost) and a nice clean table to sit at and eat. They offer complimentary lemon/cucumber water that pairs well with your bowl. definitely a favorite. read more

The food is great, it's not too expensive, I love the sides that you can add but I usually end up getting the same thing every time because there aren't a ton of sides to choose from. Then again Poke is sort of one dimensional when it comes to sides. The service is wonderful. I've been to Poke Bowl maybe 10 different times at varying hours, every time they're quick and they're all smiling. I'll always recommend Poke Bowl. read more

This place was tasty, quick, and easy. Good quality ingredients. My only complaint is everything is a little heavy on the sauces, especially mayo based. My recommendation would be to go without or easy on the sauce if you're trying to be healthy because even the fish has sauce already on it too.
