They sent her an email with my information, and told me to expect a response the next day. I never received a response. I called every day for a week asking for an update, and every day the answer was that she hasn't gotten around to her email yet. Eventually, I called another practice that scheduled me *on the spot* for an 8 week ultrasound the following week, and an 11 week in office visit with an award winning highly regarded doctor.

Terrible management. I waited in pain for 2 weeks, but today my appointment was rescheduled again. Managers don't send reminders. How important it is for a woman to solve her pain problem in a short time, and not wait 2 weeks and it's not a fact that you'll see a doctor. They will schedule an appointment for you and you will never know until they call you and tell you that you missed your appointment. Complete mess.

Everyone from the security gaurd, to the receptionist, the counselor, and medical professionals performing the procedure and ultrasound made me feel extremely comfortable and calm throughout the process (which I will admit I was nervous about). Now I understand that he is the gatekeeper of the practice, and one must attempt to get through him in order to get to a provider. There are certain types of support staff who do not belong in healthcare, especially because when a patient is calling a doctor's office, it is usually not because they are having an amazing day and are looking for a sound board for their exhilaration.

She was super personable, asked detailed questions without making me uncomfortable and was efficient and gentle during the exam. They set me up with an account at Quest Diagnostics so I can go whenever I'm having an issue and they can get me antibiotics for my recurring UTIs asap. The PA I saw was very knowledgeable and experienced and she helped me feel comfortable and safe during the IUD insertion and the pelvic exam. It was very quick as well which I appreciated. I was able to get anesthetic beforehand too which helped with the pain.
