The entire experience was highly unprofessional and deeply frustrating.First, the office staff failed to provide correct insurance information, despite the fact that I provided all of our insurance details a full day before the appointment.Second, Dr. Ramamurthy's behavior was completely unacceptable. She was dismissive, pushy, and spoke in an incredibly rude, unprofessional manner. When we tried to discuss the school report, she dismissively snapped that she has "seen thousands of school reports," showing zero empathy or individual care for my child's specific situation. If she did not want to deal with our insurance or felt she wasn't the right fit, she could have simply told us and referred us elsewhere. Instead, she was greedy and hostile.I should have listened to the other negative reviews online that highlight her poor attitude. There are plenty of other eye doctors in the area who treat families with respect. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

Thanks a lot!!! I took a sleep aid because I was having a job interview and staff meeting that day and wanted to be sure I was on point. Thus the request for the call back in the afternoon . Needless to say I was groggy for both. All I wanted to do was order a pair of back up glasses. The prescription had not yet expired, which they admitted but they said they recommend I come in. They called me up and said that I owed an additional $80 because "it was a diabetic medical exam and that it went to the deductible. I called my insurance company and they said that they were not in network and that the billing code was correct. They actually billed the insurance company an extra medical fee, which was rejected because it's included in the coding for the original eye exam. The practice was not in network at the time of my exam and tried to bill me the out of network fee. The other issue is is that the doctor will not give you your paper prescription for your eyeglasses until you buy the eyeglasses from them. I asked the doctor for my prescription and he said that when I picked up my glasses, he would give it to me. I have never had this happen before. As far as my prescription itself, I'm still not seeing very clearly.

She bought…read moreArmory eyecare from an ophthalmologist retiring whom I was a patient with so I decided to give her a try. Where do I begin? She is unfriendly, doesn't explain things well, is very defensive, takes no interest in her patients.and I don't trust her judgment. I had to wait an hour for every appointment I had with Dr. Dua. When I was waiting and asked her staff why I had to wait, I was told that she wasn't even in the office yet and they don't know when she will be in. I scheduled an 8:00am appointment every time and recently discovered that her first appointment isn't until 8:30am. Two problems here...If she doesn't get in until 8:30am why did I have to wait an extra 30 minutes until roughly 9:00am? Second is there is ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. She told me she would have a firm talk with her staff and they shouldn't be making 8:00am appointments. I don't buy it. Instead of throwing your staff under the bus, how about apologizing and making it right for the patient. Second, Every time when she came in to the treatment room, she was on her computer for 15 minutes with her back to me looking at her notes and then she would ask me questions as if she has never seen me before. Never have I ever had a doctor who wasn't prepared for an appointment and experienced this before. GET TO KNOW YOUR PATIENTS, PRETEND THAT YOU CARE ABOUT THEM EVEN IF YOU DON'T AND BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS.
