I'm new to the area and come from Fullerton so I was desperate to find a new place. I am super picky about my eyebrows and am not keen to try to places. The reviews are great so I came in and Immediately I was greeted by Hina. I told her my dilema w thin brows and what I wanted (just clean up no shape) She talked to me about what she was going to do unlike other places where they do what they want! She was done in less than five minutes and it didn't hurt one bit! I'm still kind of shocked lol. I also used my card and expected an extra charge but it was only .50 more which is a huge plus as I'm used to a 3$ charge (I know!!) I am super picky about my eyebrows and cautious of letting anyone touch them. However, I went to Sur's on a whim a few years back and have made it my go-to even though I only visit the area a couple times a year. My threader of choice is Sara: she has a really light hand while threading. I have pretty soft skin and get cut somewhat easily, but that doesn't happen with her. She respects my choice to keep my natural brow shape and my choice to not trim the longer hairs. She doesn't try to push any other service on me either. She remembers me even though I visit a couple times a year and her demeanor is, overall, very warm and welcoming. I recommend giving this place your business! read more

I'm here every month. All the ladies are very sweet. Whenever you wince or tear up they sincerely say sorry even though it's not their fault. Having hair pulled out of your face is going to hurt no matter what! I usually tweeze my own eyebrows because I'm super particular, but the youngest girl always does a great job on mine probably since she knows thick eyebrows are ~trendy~. They always show you your brows/lip with a hand mirror after to make sure you like it, and they put toner and lotion on after to minimize redness. If you get your eyebrows done, they massage your temples a bit so you aren't so tense leaving. Prices are so cheap. Don't forget to tip! read more

Went in for threading & sorry to say this but the experience was rough & the lady cut me - Will never come back.

I'm fairly new to threading. Fairly new, too, to a thicker, more natural eyebrow. You see, I've had a preference for 'over tweezed and pencil-thin', but over the years, i've noticed that i've become increasingly jealous of women with gorgeous (pretty much glorious!) in-your-face brows that are amazingly shaped. I knew that growing out my wimpy brows and getting them threaded would be the way to go. But WHERE to go for this service? I sourced for a place that was clean, not quite 'discovered' yet (read: i dislike overcrowding and long waits), and was fairly priced. Sur's delightfully got me on all three! The studio is located more of less at the corner end of a random strip mall, if you're hesitant at all, know that this place really is a gem! There are several seats for threading clients and the ladies that work there are proficient. I teared up the first time and the woman was sympathetic, handed me a tissue and asked me it it was ok to continue before she started up again (and when she did she was very light handed with it). It was nice that she wasn't like, 'lets just get this over with' and jaded (I've witnessed this going on at other salons while waiting for friends to get work done). I appreciated that and made sure I added a little bit extra to her tip. Of course, I'm pleased with the way my brows turned out! All in all~ I really like this place. Primarily, their business is threading, but they do offer henna work/design and I've seen clothing and accessories for sale. I've never had my eyebrows threaded before. This place was close to my house so I thought I'd give it a try. There was only one person ahead of me I waited about 5 minutes. I told the girl I just wanted my brows cleaned up not reshaped or thinned out. In the end I was very happy with the result. They look clean and perfect! I was expecting it to hurt but it felt like little snaps against the skin. Not unbearable at all. For those of you who have never had your eyebrows threaded when she threads your lower brow, you have to stretch your eyelid. She demonstrated this for me. If you need your eyebrows to look great and get a mini forehead massage for a decent price, come here. I'm always proud of my eyebrows after I leave here. I'd suggest coming earlier in the day if you don't want to wait in line but that's only if you can. The only thing is it gets really hot in there when the temperatures outside go up because they have no ac in there so your legs may get sweaty in the leather chair when you're getting your eyebrows done, but it's not that bad when you're getting good eyebrows and a massage for only 5 bucks! read more

I have been going to this amazing shop for 6 years and today I had my first cold mask and was blown away! The best $10.00 I've spent on myself in a long time! Found them through Groupon then looked em up here on Yelp before purchasing the groupon of course then got a quick and painless Brazillian wax which was awesome¡! Ok it's not reasonably priced it's a freaking bargain $5 for eyebrows you can't do better than that for the amazing job these ladies do. The first time I was told to look for Sarah but she wasn't there so I was a bit weary about how my eyebrows would turn out but the lady who was covering for the day fixed my eyebrows !
