Rave reviews for Susie + Cinderella! I purchased a Groupon because I was wary about trying a new place for lash lift + tint at full price, but I am so glad I took the risk and tried. I arrived about half an hour early for my appointment because I had miscalculated my drive. But Susie was able to take me right away. She prepped the room, which was small but clean + organized. There was fresh disposable paper draping(?) on the bed, and both Susie and I kept on our masks through the entire process. I especially appreciated that Susie explained each step to me, and she checked to make sure I was okay periodically. The whole process took about an hour, and I was definitely dozing on/off throughout -- a relaxing experience overall. The owner is the kindest most motherly business owner I've come across. She's very meticulous about her every move with threading & waxing, she really listens to everything you want done and makes sure it gets done just how you want it. The place is always so busy and all different kinds of customers look satisfied with their brows. One time I got eyelash extensions done here & my eyes had a bad reaction to it the next day, the owner dropped everything and carefully took them off & nurtured my eyes with her eye solutions & care. She'd go back and forth between her other customers and I, even gave me water & a little solution to take home. She was deeply concerned on a human level and it was very touching considering how busy she always is. She didn't charge me a dime for her patience (I was there for more than an hr) and didn't want to take my money but I paid for a facial as a token of my gratitude. I know a lot of people who get their lash extensions here (beautiful) and none had a reaction like I did, my eyes are just extremely sensitive unfortunately. This place is run by a lovely pair of mother and daughter. I have gone to so many places for the lash lift and tint. There is no other place that can do it the way that Susanna can. The price is also the best out of all. I would fall asleep during the appointment while waiting for the lashes to dry because that is how calm it gets. The result never disappoints. I got a lash fill hybrid set and my friend got a lash lift. My friends lashes were not lifted, and I let the esthetician know that she has thick lashes and previous places it has taken a couple lifts to get it right. After her lift, once again they were not up to par. And she asked for another lift and the response she got was she does not have the correct size rod to give her a full lift. When we went to pay she insisted we pay full price! Luckily we were able to get 10$ off. But we should not have had to pay anything My lash fill was extremely painful. I have no idea why it hurt but every time a lash was applied it felt like a needle was poking me. I thought this was just me. But then after she was done the lashes were still poking me. She also applied to much glue and every single day since I've had them done (2weeks) my eyes burn and water. Lastly, both me and my friend had our bottom lashes ripped out because of improper placement of the tape that is meant to cover the bottom lashes. It took her fifteen minutes to remove it from both of us. And again it was SO painful! Also the applying of lashes was done sloppy. Some of my natural lashes are glued together in one lash extension (a clump). So the lashes are not falling out correctly since they are all clumped together. Do not get me wrong. They looked beautiful at first but after consulting with other lash estheticians and doing research I learned that the care I received was not good at all. I've let my eyebrows grow for about 2 months now. I came here excited due to the reviews, I was really expecting nicely shaped eyebrows. I ended up with uneven eyebrows and I had to tell the lady a couple of times that my left eyebrows wasn't near what my right eyebrow looked like. The lady who does eyebrow threading did a horrible job. She left them so uneven. When I told her and pointed it out that she had cut more than enough she said "no your eyebrows are like that" ... you mean to tell me I came in with bushy eye brows and I left with one shorter than the other .... The actual threading was ok. However I got "eyelash extension" and it was horrible. They put so much glue I couldn't open my eyes!! she then used scissors to cut the glue which then caused my eyes to burn and water like crazy! blobs and blobs of glue, I had to go home and use olive oil to remove them. Some of the glue was hard to take off, it pulled my lash out with it leaving my lashes scarce. They used those individual lashes that contains 3 lashes in each one, those are NOT extensions! I should have known better, you get what you pay for. $40 for "eye lash extension" lashes that you can get yourself for like $10 or less including the glue. read more
