I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for years. But the problem is that the place I had been…read moregoing to only cleans my brows, they don't shape them. So my eyebrows had gotten pretty thick and lost their shape. So I found this place through Yelp and decided to give it a try. This place is located inside Phoenix Salon Suites. Plenty of parking since it's in a shopping center. Her suite was clean, warm, and cozy. She had ambient music playing at a low volume which really relaxed me. My appointment was at 10:40 and from the booking it said it would be done by 11:04. I had the brow shaping / tint service which was only $40. Her and I both knew my brows needed serious help. And left them looking flawless. She asked how I liked them and if I minded them being a little thinner. She also made sure I wasn't allergic to anything since I was getting my brows tinted. For the threading service, I have to say, this was the least painful threading I've experienced. Bottom line, I found my new eyebrow spot. She also offers facials, brow lamination, and various other threading services.

I always need to ask them to go back and get stray hairs that were missed, and end up cleaning up my brows myself when I get home. Most other places have trimmed my brows after they're done threading, but I notice they do very minimal shaping and trimming here. Also, other spots will ask what lotion/astringent you want after your service, but here they just put things on you without alerting you to what product is being used. It's the most local shop to me, so I really wanted to love it and support locally, but I'll have to look for a new place.

She was initially friendly and talkative but once she finished, I noticed that she had made my right eyebrow significantly shorter than the left and it was uneven. I expressed this to her and instead of looking at my eyebrows and seeing how she could even them out or tweak it, she kept cutting me off saying that it's fine and dismissing my concerns. I continued to show her the part of my eyebrow I wasn't content with but she began escalating to literally arguing with me ( there was another customer waiting and witnessing all this). I told her that her behavior was extremely unprofessional and she said I don't have to pay for the service but as I walked out, she screamed across the room, "you're poor and have no money and you dress like a grandma." (I was dressed in workout clothes because I planned on workout out afterwards). I can't believe that a business that employs someone with this worth ethic is still in business. I would absolutely be cautious if you decide to go here. I will NEVER be back.
